M$^3$HL: Mutual Mask Mix with High-Low Level Feature Consistency for Semi-Supervised Medical Image SegmentationYajun Liu, Zenghui Zhang, Jiang Yue et al.
Data augmentation methods inspired by CutMix have demonstrated significant potential in recent semi-supervised medical image segmentation tasks. However, these approaches often apply CutMix operations in a rigid and inflexible manner, while paying insufficient attention to feature-level consistency constraints. In this paper, we propose a novel method called Mutual Mask Mix with High-Low level feature consistency (M$^3$HL) to address the aforementioned challenges, which consists of two key components: 1) M$^3$: An enhanced data augmentation operation inspired by the masking strategy from Masked Image Modeling (MIM), which advances conventional CutMix through dynamically adjustable masks to generate spatially complementary image pairs for collaborative training, thereby enabling effective information fusion between labeled and unlabeled images. 2) HL: A hierarchical consistency regularization framework that enforces high-level and low-level feature consistency between unlabeled and mixed images, enabling the model to better capture discriminative feature representations. Our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on widely adopted medical image segmentation benchmarks including the ACDC and LA datasets. Multi-Domain Features Guided Supervised Contrastive Learning for Radar Target DetectionJunjie Wang, Yuze Gao, Dongying Li et al.
Detecting small targets in sea clutter is challenging due to dynamic maritime conditions. Existing solutions either model sea clutter for detection or extract target features based on clutter-target echo differences, including statistical and deep features. While more common, the latter often excels in controlled scenarios but struggles with robust detection and generalization in diverse environments, limiting practical use. In this letter, we propose a multi-domain features guided supervised contrastive learning (MDFG_SCL) method, which integrates statistical features derived from multi-domain differences with deep features obtained through supervised contrastive learning, thereby capturing both low-level domain-specific variations and high-level semantic information. This comprehensive feature integration enables the model to effectively distinguish between small targets and sea clutter, even under challenging conditions. Experiments conducted on real-world datasets demonstrate that the proposed shallow-to-deep detector not only achieves effective identification of small maritime targets but also maintains superior detection performance across varying sea conditions, outperforming the mainstream unsupervised contrastive learning and supervised contrastive learning methods.

OSDM-MReg: Multimodal Image Registration based One Step Diffusion ModelXiaochen Wei, Weiwei Guo, Wenxian Yu et al.
Multimodal remote sensing image registration aligns images from different sensors for data fusion and analysis. However, existing methods often struggle to extract modality-invariant features when faced with large nonlinear radiometric differences, such as those between SAR and optical images. To address these challenges, we propose OSDM-MReg, a novel multimodal image registration framework that bridges the modality gap through image-to-image translation. Specifically, we introduce a one-step unaligned target-guided conditional diffusion model (UTGOS-CDM) to translate source and target images into a unified representation domain. Unlike traditional conditional DDPM that require hundreds of iterative steps for inference, our model incorporates a novel inverse translation objective during training to enable direct prediction of the translated image in a single step at test time, significantly accelerating the registration process. After translation, we design a multimodal multiscale registration network (MM-Reg) that extracts and fuses both unimodal and translated multimodal images using the proposed multimodal fusion strategy, enhancing the robustness and precision of alignment across scales and modalities. Extensive experiments on the OSdataset demonstrate that OSDM-MReg achieves superior registration accuracy compared to state-of-the-art methods.

Photovoltaic Defect Image Generator with Boundary Alignment Smoothing Constraint for Domain Shift MitigationDongying Li, Binyi Su, Hua Zhang et al.
Accurate defect detection of photovoltaic (PV) cells is critical for ensuring quality and efficiency in intelligent PV manufacturing systems. However, the scarcity of rich defect data poses substantial challenges for effective model training. While existing methods have explored generative models to augment datasets, they often suffer from instability, limited diversity, and domain shifts. To address these issues, we propose PDIG, a Photovoltaic Defect Image Generator based on Stable Diffusion (SD). PDIG leverages the strong priors learned from large-scale datasets to enhance generation quality under limited data. Specifically, we introduce a Semantic Concept Embedding (SCE) module that incorporates text-conditioned priors to capture the relational concepts between defect types and their appearances. To further enrich the domain distribution, we design a Lightweight Industrial Style Adaptor (LISA), which injects industrial defect characteristics into the SD model through cross-disentangled attention. At inference, we propose a Text-Image Dual-Space Constraints (TIDSC) module, enforcing the quality of generated images via positional consistency and spatial smoothing alignment. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PDIG achieves superior realism and diversity compared to state-of-the-art methods. Specifically, our approach improves Frechet Inception Distance (FID) by 19.16 points over the second-best method and significantly enhances the performance of downstream defect detection tasks.
