SatDreamer360: Multiview-Consistent Generation of Ground-Level Scenes from Satellite ImageryXianghui Ze, Beiyi Zhu, Zhenbo Song et al.
Generating multiview-consistent $360^\circ$ ground-level scenes from satellite imagery is a challenging task with broad applications in simulation, autonomous navigation, and digital twin cities. Existing approaches primarily focus on synthesizing individual ground-view panoramas, often relying on auxiliary inputs like height maps or handcrafted projections, and struggle to produce multiview consistent sequences. In this paper, we propose SatDreamer360, a framework that generates geometrically consistent multi-view ground-level panoramas from a single satellite image, given a predefined pose trajectory. To address the large viewpoint discrepancy between ground and satellite images, we adopt a triplane representation to encode scene features and design a ray-based pixel attention mechanism that retrieves view-specific features from the triplane. To maintain multi-frame consistency, we introduce a panoramic epipolar-constrained attention module that aligns features across frames based on known relative poses. To support the evaluation, we introduce {VIGOR++}, a large-scale dataset for generating multi-view ground panoramas from a satellite image, by augmenting the original VIGOR dataset with more ground-view images and their pose annotations. Experiments show that SatDreamer360 outperforms existing methods in both satellite-to-ground alignment and multiview consistency.

TCMD: A Traditional Chinese Medicine QA Dataset for Evaluating Large Language ModelsPing Yu, Kaitao Song, Fengchen He et al.
The recently unprecedented advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) have propelled the medical community by establishing advanced medical-domain models. However, due to the limited collection of medical datasets, there are only a few comprehensive benchmarks available to gauge progress in this area. In this paper, we introduce a new medical question-answering (QA) dataset that contains massive manual instruction for solving Traditional Chinese Medicine examination tasks, called TCMD. Specifically, our TCMD collects massive questions across diverse domains with their annotated medical subjects and thus supports us in comprehensively assessing the capability of LLMs in the TCM domain. Extensive evaluation of various general LLMs and medical-domain-specific LLMs is conducted. Moreover, we also analyze the robustness of current LLMs in solving TCM QA tasks by introducing randomness. The inconsistency of the experimental results also reveals the shortcomings of current LLMs in solving QA tasks. We also expect that our dataset can further facilitate the development of LLMs in the TCM area.

LightPAFF: A Two-Stage Distillation Framework for Pre-training and Fine-tuningKaitao Song, Hao Sun, Xu Tan et al.
While pre-training and fine-tuning, e.g., BERT~\citep{devlin2018bert}, GPT-2~\citep{radford2019language}, have achieved great success in language understanding and generation tasks, the pre-trained models are usually too big for online deployment in terms of both memory cost and inference speed, which hinders them from practical online usage. In this paper, we propose LightPAFF, a Lightweight Pre-training And Fine-tuning Framework that leverages two-stage knowledge distillation to transfer knowledge from a big teacher model to a lightweight student model in both pre-training and fine-tuning stages. In this way the lightweight model can achieve similar accuracy as the big teacher model, but with much fewer parameters and thus faster online inference speed. LightPAFF can support different pre-training methods (such as BERT, GPT-2 and MASS~\citep{song2019mass}) and be applied to many downstream tasks. Experiments on three language understanding tasks, three language modeling tasks and three sequence to sequence generation tasks demonstrate that while achieving similar accuracy with the big BERT, GPT-2 and MASS models, LightPAFF reduces the model size by nearly 5x and improves online inference speed by 5x-7x.
