A Review on The Division of Magnetic Resonant Prostate Images with Deep Learning

Deep learning; it is often used in dividing processes on images in the biomedical field. In recent years, it has been observed that there is an increase in the division procedures performed on prostate images using deep learning compared to other methods of image division. Looking at the literature; It is seen that the process of dividing prostate images, which are carried out with deep learning, is an important step for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. For this reason, in this study; to be a source for future splitting operations; deep learning splitting procedures on prostate images obtained from magnetic resonance (MRI) imaging devices were examined.

Electrostimulation of Brain Deep Structures in Parkinson's Disease

The study involved 56 patients with advanced and late stages of Parkinsons disease, which could be considered as potentially requiring neurosurgical treatment-electrical stimulation of deep brain structures. An algorithm has been developed for selecting patients with advanced and late stages of Parkinsons disease for neurological treatment-implantation of a system for electrical stimulation of deep brain structures in distant neurosurgical centers, which includes two stages for patients with limited mobility - outpatient and inpatient. The development of an algorithm for referral to neurological treatment has shortened the path of a patient with limited mobility from a polyclinic to a neurological center. Electro stimulation of deep brain structures in Parkinsons disease significantly improved the condition of patients-to increase functional activity by 55%, reduce the severity of motor disorders by 55%, and reduce the dose of levodopa drugs by half.

Deep Learning Based Early Diagnostics of Parkinsons Disease

In the world, about 7 to 10 million elderly people are suffering from Parkinson's Disease (PD) disease. Parkinson's disease is a common neurological degenerative disease, and its clinical characteristics are Tremors, rigidity, bradykinesia, and decreased autonomy. Its clinical manifestations are very similar to Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) disorders. Studies have shown that patients with Parkinson's disease often reach an irreparable situation when diagnosed, so As Parkinson's disease can be distinguished from MSA disease and get an early diagnosis, people are constantly exploring new methods. With the advent of the era of big data, deep learning has made major breakthroughs in image recognition and classification. Therefore, this study proposes to use The deep learning method to realize the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy, and healthy people. This data source is from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine Hospital. The processing of the original magnetic resonance image (Magnetic Resonance Image, MRI) is guided by the doctor of Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine Hospital. The focus of this experiment is to improve the existing neural network so that it can obtain good results in medical image recognition and diagnosis. An improved algorithm was proposed based on the pathological characteristics of Parkinson's disease, and good experimental results were obtained by comparing indicators such as model loss and accuracy.
