RPiAE: A Representation-Pivoted Autoencoder Enhancing Both Image Generation and Editing

Yue Gong, Hongyu Li, Shanyuan Liu et al.

Diffusion models have become the dominant paradigm for image generation and editing, with latent diffusion models shifting denoising to a compact latent space for efficiency and scalability. Recent attempts to leverage pretrained visual representation models as tokenizer priors either align diffusion features to representation features or directly reuse representation encoders as frozen tokenizers. Although such approaches can improve generation metrics, they often suffer from limited reconstruction fidelity due to frozen encoders, which in turn degrades editing quality, as well as overly high-dimensional latents that make diffusion modeling difficult. To address these limitations, We propose Representation-Pivoted AutoEncoder, a representation-based tokenizer that improves both generation and editing. We introduce Representation-Pivot Regularization, a training strategy that enables a representation-initialized encoder to be fine-tuned for reconstruction while preserving the semantic structure of the pretrained representation space, followed by a variational bridge which compress latent space into a compact one for better diffusion modeling. We adopt an objective-decoupled stage-wise training strategy that sequentially optimizes generative tractability and reconstruction-fidelity objectives. Together, these components yield a tokenizer that preserves strong semantics, reconstructs faithfully, and produces latents with reduced diffusion modeling complexity. Experiments demonstrate that RPiAE outperforms other visual tokenizers on text-to-image generation and image editing, while delivering the best reconstruction fidelity among representation-based tokenizers.

Flow matching-based generative models for MIMO channel estimation

Wenkai Liu, Nan Ma, Jianqiao Chen et al.

Diffusion model (DM)-based channel estimation, which generates channel samples via a posteriori sampling stepwise with denoising process, has shown potential in high-precision channel state information (CSI) acquisition. However, slow sampling speed is an essential challenge for recent developed DM-based schemes. To alleviate this problem, we propose a novel flow matching (FM)-based generative model for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel estimation. We first formulate the channel estimation problem within FM framework, where the conditional probability path is constructed from the noisy channel distribution to the true channel distribution. In this case, the path evolves along the straight-line trajectory at a constant speed. Then, guided by this, we derive the velocity field that depends solely on the noise statistics to guide generative models training. Furthermore, during the sampling phase, we utilize the trained velocity field as prior information for channel estimation, which allows for quick and reliable noise channel enhancement via ordinary differential equation (ODE) Euler solver. Finally, numerical results demonstrate that the proposed FM-based channel estimation scheme can significantly reduce the sampling overhead compared to other popular DM-based schemes, such as the score matching (SM)-based scheme. Meanwhile, it achieves superior channel estimation accuracy under different channel conditions.

ComfyGPT: A Self-Optimizing Multi-Agent System for Comprehensive ComfyUI Workflow Generation

Oucheng Huang, Yuhang Ma, Zeng Zhao et al.

ComfyUI is a popular workflow-based interface that allows users to customize image generation tasks through an intuitive node-based system. However, the complexity of managing node connections and diverse modules can be challenging for users. In this paper, we introduce ComfyGPT, a self-optimizing multi-agent system designed to generate ComfyUI workflows based on task descriptions automatically. The key innovations of ComfyGPT include: (1) consisting of four specialized agents to build a multi-agent workflow generation system: ReformatAgent, FlowAgent, RefineAgent, and ExecuteAgent; (2) focusing on generating precise node connections instead of entire workflows, improving generation accuracy; and (3) enhancing workflow generation through reinforcement learning. Moreover, we introduce FlowDataset, a large-scale dataset containing 13,571 workflow-description pairs, and FlowBench, a comprehensive benchmark for evaluating workflow generation systems. Additionally, we propose four novel evaluation metrics: Format Validation (FV), Pass Accuracy (PA), Pass Instruct Alignment (PIA), and Pass Node Diversity (PND). Experimental results demonstrate that ComfyGPT significantly outperforms existing LLM-based methods in workflow generation, making it a significant step forward in this field. PrefixAgent: An LLM-Powered Design Framework for Efficient Prefix Adder Optimization

Dongsheng Zuo, Jiadong Zhu, Yang Luo et al.

Prefix adders are fundamental arithmetic circuits, but their design space grows exponentially with bit-width, posing significant optimization challenges. Previous works face limitations in performance, generalization, and scalability. To address these challenges, we propose PrefixAgent, a large language model (LLM)-powered framework that enables efficient prefix adder optimization. Specifically, PrefixAgent reformulates the problem into subtasks including backbone synthesis and structure refinement, which effectively reduces the search space. More importantly, this new design perspective enables us to efficiently collect enormous high-quality data and reasoning traces with E-graph, which further results in an effective fine-tuning of LLM. Experimental results show that PrefixAgent synthesizes prefix adders with consistently smaller areas compared to baseline methods, while maintaining scalability and generalization in commercial EDA flows.
