Semantic Matching of Security Policies to Support Security Experts

Othman Benammar, Hicham Elasri, Abderrahim Sekkaki

Management of security policies has become increasingly difficult given the number of domains to manage, taken into consideration their extent and their complexity. Security experts has to deal with a variety of frameworks and specification languages used in different domains that may belong to any Cloud Computing or Distributed Systems. This wealth of frameworks and languages make the management task and the interpretation of the security policies so difficult. Each approach provides its own conflict management method or tool, the security expert will be forced to manage all these tools, which makes the field maintenance and time consuming expensive. In order to hide this complexity and to facilitate some security experts tasks and automate the others, we propose a security policies aligning based on ontologies process; this process enables to detect and resolve security policies conflicts and to support security experts in managing tasks.

Integration of SOA and Cloud Computing in RM-ODP

Mostafa Jebbar, Abderrahim Sekkaki, Othman Benammar

The objective of ODP is according to ITU-T Recommendation X.901 stated as follows: The objective of ODP standardization is the development of standards that allow the benefits of distributing information processing services to be realized in an environment of heterogeneous IT resources and multiple organizational domains. These standards address constraints on system specification and the provision of a system infrastructure that accommodate difficulties inherent in the design and programming of distributed systems. This objective seems to cover cloud computing systems. Therefore, we in this paper discuss the concepts of cloud, and discuss the use of RM-ODP for specifying the solution. We indicate that the current RM-ODP may be too abstract for the purpose, and indicate how to adapt RM-ODP to fit the purpose

Semantic integration process of business components to support information system designers

Hicham Elasri, Abderrahim Sekkaki

The present work is inscribed within the intersection of two scientific thematic: the engineering by reuse of components and ontologies alignment. The integration of Business Components (BC) is a research problem that has been identified in the field of engineering by reuse. Our proposal aims to provide assistance to designers of information systems in the integration phase. It is a process guided by domain ontology to provide semantic integration of BC. This process allows the detection and resolution of semantic conflicts naming type encountered in the process of integration of BC.
