Swar The Voice Operated PCKamlesh Sharma, Dr. T. V Prasad
Keyboard, although a popular medium, is not very convenient as it requires a certain amount of skill for effective usage. A mouse on the other hand requires a good hand-eye co-ordination. Also current computer interfaces also assume a certain level of literacy from the user. It also expect the user to have certain level of proficiency in English. In our country where the literacy level is as low as 50% in some states, if information technology has to reach the grass root level; these constraints have to be eliminated. As a solution for these, Speech Recognition and hence the concept of Voice operated computer system comes into picture. In this paper we propose a technique to develop a voice recognition system which will be used for controlling computer via speech input from any user i.e. without the use of mouse and / or keyboard. Once developed this system would be of great benefit to physically handicapped people as Instead of scrolling through written procedures on a laptop or handheld computer, they can wear a headset and have their hands and eyes free.

CONATION: English Command Input/Output System for ComputersKamlesh Sharma, Dr. T. V. Prasad
In this information technology age, a convenient and user friendly interface is required to operate the computer system on very fast rate. In the human being, speech being a natural mode of communication has potential to being a fast and convenient mode of interaction with computer. Speech recognition will play an important role in taking technology to them. It is the need of this era to access the information within seconds. This paper describes the design and development of speaker independent and English command interpreted system for computers. HMM model is used to represent the phoneme like speech commands. Experiments have been done on real world data and system has been trained in normal condition for real world subject.

A Modified LSB Technique of Digital Watermarking in Spatial DomainNisha Sharma, Kamlesh Sharma
Digital watermarking is a technique of embedding pieces of information into digital data such as text, audio, video, and still images that can be detected or extracted later to show authentication about the data. Watermark is hidden information in the image(s) and is so designed that it does not degrade/distort the quality of the image and still keeps the information. Digital watermarking is basically to protect ownership rights and to control of making illicit copies of digital data. In this paper, we have discussed various watermarking techniques and properties and have proposed a modified LSB technique. We have implemented the proposed technique by following: 2-bits of 8-bit gray image is replaced by luminance part, next 2-bits by red component, next 2-bits by green component and next 2-bits by blue component of 32-bit image using secret key. The advantage is that watermarking capacity has been increased and unaffected by various attacks e.g. zero out LSB bits, cropping etc. Watermark image is imperceptible in resultant image. We have tested this technique on several images and found that it is quite satisfactory. This technique is secured as unauthorized user can not extract the watermarked contents easily from the original image and works well in adverse situations. We have implemented this technique on platform java 1.5.0.

Exploration of Speech enabled System for EnglishKamlesh Sharma, T. Suryakanthi, T. V. Prasad
This paper presents exploration of speech enable operating systems, software, and applications. It begins with a description of how such systems work, and the level of accuracy that can be expected. It explains the applications of speech recognition technology in different areas education, medical, mobile computing, railway reservation, dictation, and web browsing. A brief comparison of the operating systems supported for voice, speech recognition software or tool. It gives the brief introduction about the potential of voice/speech recognition software. It explains the feature of different speech enable Operating system and speech recognition software. Windows speech recognition have many innovative features for Windows operating system and efficiently assist the computer to control, dictate, navigate, selecting the words, sending emails and correcting the words or sentences. It also explains the benefits and issue related to speech technology. In last era speech recognition technology grew tremendously. There are large number of companies who are working in these area and developing software for the people who are not able to control the system through keyboard or mouse such as physically impaired and senior citizens. This paper gives a brief introduction of speech enabled OS and speech recognition software.
