MoReGen: Multi-Agent Motion-Reasoning Engine for Code-based Text-to-Video SynthesisXiangyu Bai, He Liang, Bishoy Galoaa et al.
While text-to-video (T2V) generation has achieved remarkable progress in photorealism, generating intent-aligned videos that faithfully obey physics principles remains a core challenge. In this work, we systematically study Newtonian motion-controlled text-to-video generation and evaluation, emphasizing physical precision and motion coherence. We introduce MoReGen, a motion-aware, physics-grounded T2V framework that integrates multi-agent LLMs, physics simulators, and renderers to generate reproducible, physically accurate videos from text prompts in the code domain. To quantitatively assess physical validity, we propose object-trajectory correspondence as a direct evaluation metric and present MoReSet, a benchmark of 1,275 human-annotated videos spanning nine classes of Newtonian phenomena with scene descriptions, spatiotemporal relations, and ground-truth trajectories. Using MoReSet, we conduct experiments on existing T2V models, evaluating their physical validity through both our MoRe metrics and existing physics-based evaluators. Our results reveal that state-of-the-art models struggle to maintain physical validity, while MoReGen establishes a principled direction toward physically coherent video synthesis.

Design and Characterization of a 3D-printed Pneumatically-driven Bistable Valve with Tunable CharacteristicsSihan Wang, Liang He, Perla Maiolino
Although research studies in pneumatic soft robots develop rapidly, most pneumatic actuators are still controlled by rigid valves and conventional electronics. The existence of these rigid, electronic components sacrifices the compliance and adaptability of soft robots.} Current electronics-free valve designs based on soft materials are facing challenges in behaviour consistency, design flexibility, and fabrication complexity. Taking advantages of soft material 3D printing, this paper presents a new design of a bi-stable pneumatic valve, which utilises two soft, pneumatically-driven, and symmetrically-oriented conical shells with structural bistability to stabilise and regulate the airflow. The critical pressure required to operate the valve can be adjusted by changing the design features of the soft bi-stable structure. Multi-material printing simplifies the valve fabrication, enhances the flexibility in design feature optimisations, and improves the system repeatability. In this work, both a theoretical model and physical experiments are introduced to examine the relationships between the critical operating pressure and the key design features. Results with valve characteristic tuning via material stiffness changing show better effectiveness compared to the change of geometry design features (demonstrated largest tunable critical pressure range from 15.3 to 65.2 kPa and fastest response time $\leq$ 1.8 s.

Efficient Multi-Agent Global Navigation Using Interpolating BridgesLiang He, Jia Pan, Dinesh Manocha
We present a novel approach for collision-free global navigation for continuous-time multi-agent systems with general linear dynamics. Our approach is general and can be used to perform collision-free navigation in 2D and 3D workspaces with narrow passages and crowded regions. As part of pre-computation, we compute multiple bridges in the narrow or tight regions in the workspace using kinodynamic RRT algorithms. Our bridge has certain geometric characteristics, that en- able us to calculate a collision-free trajectory for each agent using simple interpolation at runtime. Moreover, we combine interpolated bridge trajectories with local multi-agent navigation algorithms to compute global collision-free paths for each agent. The overall approach combines the performance benefits of coupled multi-agent algorithms with the pre- computed trajectories of the bridges to handle challenging scenarios. In practice, our approach can handle tens to hundreds of agents in real-time on a single CPU core in 2D and 3D workspaces.

Efficient Penetration Depth Computation between Rigid Models using Contact Space Propagation SamplingLiang He, Jia Pan, Danwei Li et al.
We present a novel method to compute the approximate global penetration depth (PD) between two non-convex geometric models. Our approach consists of two phases: offline precomputation and run-time queries. In the first phase, our formulation uses a novel sampling algorithm to precompute an approximation of the high-dimensional contact space between the pair of models. As compared with prior random sampling algorithms for contact space approximation, our propagation sampling considerably speeds up the precomputation and yields a high quality approximation. At run-time, we perform a nearest-neighbor query and local projection to efficiently compute the translational or generalized PD. We demonstrate the performance of our approach on complex 3D benchmarks with tens or hundreds of thousands of triangles, and we observe significant improvement over previous methods in terms of accuracy, with a modest improvement in the run-time performance.
