Uni-LaViRA: Language-Vision-Robot Actions Translation for Unified Embodied Navigation

Embodied navigation requires an agent to map language and visual observations to a stream of spatial actions that drive a real robot through environments it has never seen. The dominant approach has been to scale vision-language-action (VLA) foundation models on ever-larger collections of robot trajectories. This paper argues that, for navigation specifically, generality can be obtained structurally, not only through data scale. The underlying decision structure of navigation reduces to a single Language-Vision-Robot Actions Translation. The language action emits semantic-level directional command and the vision action emits a pixel-level visual target. Both outputs lie inside the natural output manifold of pretrained multimodal large language models (MLLMs), so the task can be reasoned about by an agent rather than learned from robot data. Therefore, we present Uni-LaViRA, a unified agentic architecture that extends the same insight to four task families (VLN-CE, ObjectNav, EQA, and Aerial-VLN) and to four heterogeneous real robots (Wheeled, Quadruped, Humanoid robot, and a self-built UAV) in a zero-shot manner. Two agent-loop mechanisms make this unification practical. TODO List Memory (TDM) rewrites a structured checklist of pending sub-goals at every step, reciting the unfinished items back into the agent's most recent attention window. Second Chance Backtrack (SCB) rolls the robot back to the pre-error state and conditions the agent's next plan on the failed sub-trajectory, turning single-pass navigation into a self-correcting process. With zero training effort, Uni-LaViRA reaches 60.7% SR on VLN-CE R2R, 51.3% on VLN-CE RxR, 77.7% on HM3D-v2, 60.0% on HM3D-OVON, 54.7% on MP3D-EQA, and 40.0% on OpenUAV, matching or even surpassing recent training navigation foundation models that consume millions of samples and thousands of GPU-hours.

Are All Point Clouds Suitable for Completion? Weakly Supervised Quality Evaluation Network for Point Cloud Completion

In the practical application of point cloud completion tasks, real data quality is usually much worse than the CAD datasets used for training. A small amount of noisy data will usually significantly impact the overall system's accuracy. In this paper, we propose a quality evaluation network to score the point clouds and help judge the quality of the point cloud before applying the completion model. We believe our scoring method can help researchers select more appropriate point clouds for subsequent completion and reconstruction and avoid manual parameter adjustment. Moreover, our evaluation model is fast and straightforward and can be directly inserted into any model's training or use process to facilitate the automatic selection and post-processing of point clouds. We propose a complete dataset construction and model evaluation method based on ShapeNet. We verify our network using detection and flow estimation tasks on KITTI, a real-world dataset for autonomous driving. The experimental results show that our model can effectively distinguish the quality of point clouds and help in practical tasks.

You Only Label Once: 3D Box Adaptation from Point Cloud to Image via Semi-Supervised Learning

The image-based 3D object detection task expects that the predicted 3D bounding box has a ``tightness'' projection (also referred to as cuboid), which fits the object contour well on the image while still keeping the geometric attribute on the 3D space, e.g., physical dimension, pairwise orthogonal, etc. These requirements bring significant challenges to the annotation. Simply projecting the Lidar-labeled 3D boxes to the image leads to non-trivial misalignment, while directly drawing a cuboid on the image cannot access the original 3D information. In this work, we propose a learning-based 3D box adaptation approach that automatically adjusts minimum parameters of the 360$^{\circ}$ Lidar 3D bounding box to perfectly fit the image appearance of panoramic cameras. With only a few 2D boxes annotation as guidance during the training phase, our network can produce accurate image-level cuboid annotations with 3D properties from Lidar boxes. We call our method ``you only label once'', which means labeling on the point cloud once and automatically adapting to all surrounding cameras. As far as we know, we are the first to focus on image-level cuboid refinement, which balances the accuracy and efficiency well and dramatically reduces the labeling effort for accurate cuboid annotation. Extensive experiments on the public Waymo and NuScenes datasets show that our method can produce human-level cuboid annotation on the image without needing manual adjustment.

INHerit-SG: Incremental Hierarchical Semantic Scene Graphs with RAG-Style Retrieval

Driven by recent advancements in foundation models, semantic scene graphs have emerged as a promising paradigm for high-level 3D environmental abstraction in robot navigation. However, existing frameworks struggle to successfully handle complex embodied queries while ensuring continuous semantic graph construction. To address these limitations, we present INHerit-SG, an asynchronous dual-stream architecture that systematically structures the 3D environment into a RAG-ready knowledge base. Specifically, our framework integrates comprehensive node representations, an event-triggered asynchronous update scheme, and a structured retrieval mechanism. While geometric segmentation is decoupled from semantic reasoning to maintain mapping efficiency, the semantic nodes also store natural language summaries to support text-based retrieval. Furthermore, we propose an interpretable retrieval pipeline that couples the reasoning capabilities of multi-role LLMs with the topological structure of the scene graph, followed by a visual verification process to mitigate false positives. We evaluate INHerit-SG on a newly constructed benchmark for complex embodied semantic query retrieval, HM3DSem-SQR, and in real-world environments. Experiments demonstrate that our system achieves state-of-the-art performance on complex queries, especially for those involving negations and chained spatial constraints. FineCog-Nav: Integrating Fine-grained Cognitive Modules for Zero-shot Multimodal UAV Navigation

UAV vision-language navigation (VLN) requires an agent to navigate complex 3D environments from an egocentric perspective while following ambiguous multi-step instructions over long horizons. Existing zero-shot methods remain limited, as they often rely on large base models, generic prompts, and loosely coordinated modules. In this work, we propose FineCog-Nav, a top-down framework inspired by human cognition that organizes navigation into fine-grained modules for language processing, perception, attention, memory, imagination, reasoning, and decision-making. Each module is driven by a moderate-sized foundation model with role-specific prompts and structured input-output protocols, enabling effective collaboration and improved interpretability. To support fine-grained evaluation, we construct AerialVLN-Fine, a curated benchmark of 300 trajectories derived from AerialVLN, with sentence-level instruction-trajectory alignment and refined instructions containing explicit visual endpoints and landmark references. Experiments show that FineCog-Nav consistently outperforms zero-shot baselines in instruction adherence, long-horizon planning, and generalization to unseen environments. Efficient Implicit Neural Reconstruction Using LiDAR

Modeling scene geometry using implicit neural representation has revealed its advantages in accuracy, flexibility, and low memory usage. Previous approaches have demonstrated impressive results using color or depth images but still have difficulty handling poor light conditions and large-scale scenes. Methods taking global point cloud as input require accurate registration and ground truth coordinate labels, which limits their application scenarios. In this paper, we propose a new method that uses sparse LiDAR point clouds and rough odometry to reconstruct fine-grained implicit occupancy field efficiently within a few minutes. We introduce a new loss function that supervises directly in 3D space without 2D rendering, avoiding information loss. We also manage to refine poses of input frames in an end-to-end manner, creating consistent geometry without global point cloud registration. As far as we know, our method is the first to reconstruct implicit scene representation from LiDAR-only input. Experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets, including indoor and outdoor scenes, prove that our method is effective, efficient, and accurate, obtaining comparable results with existing methods using dense input.

AdaClearGrasp: Learning Adaptive Clearing for Zero-Shot Robust Dexterous Grasping in Densely Cluttered Environments

In densely cluttered environments, physical interference, visual occlusions, and unstable contacts often cause direct dexterous grasping to fail, while aggressive singulation strategies may compromise safety. Enabling robots to adaptively decide whether to clear surrounding objects or directly grasp the target is therefore crucial for robust manipulation. We propose AdaClearGrasp, a closed-loop decision-execution framework for adaptive clearing and zero-shot dexterous grasping in densely cluttered environments. The framework formulates manipulation as a controllable high-level decision process that determines whether to directly grasp the target or first clear surrounding objects. A pretrained vision-language model (VLM) interprets visual observations and language task descriptions to reason about grasp interference and generate a high-level planning skeleton, which invokes structured atomic skills through a unified action interface. For dexterous grasping, we train a reinforcement learning policy with a relative hand-object distance representation, enabling zero-shot generalization across diverse object geometries and physical properties. During execution, visual feedback monitors outcomes and triggers replanning upon failures, forming a closed-loop correction mechanism. To evaluate language-conditioned dexterous grasping in clutter, we introduce Clutter-Bench, the first simulation benchmark with graded clutter complexity. It includes seven target objects across three clutter levels, yielding 210 task scenarios. We further perform sim-to-real experiments on three objects under three clutter levels (18 scenarios). Results demonstrate that AdaClearGrasp significantly improves grasp success rates in densely cluttered environments. V-Dreamer: Automating Robotic Simulation and Trajectory Synthesis via Video Generation Priors

Training generalist robots demands large-scale, diverse manipulation data, yet real-world collection is prohibitively expensive, and existing simulators are often constrained by fixed asset libraries and manual heuristics. To bridge this gap, we present V-Dreamer, a fully automated framework that generates open-vocabulary, simulation-ready manipulation environments and executable expert trajectories directly from natural language instructions. V-Dreamer employs a novel generative pipeline that constructs physically grounded 3D scenes using large language models and 3D generative models, validated by geometric constraints to ensure stable, collision-free layouts. Crucially, for behavior synthesis, we leverage video generation models as rich motion priors. These visual predictions are then mapped into executable robot trajectories via a robust Sim-to-Gen visual-kinematic alignment module utilizing CoTracker3 and VGGT. This pipeline supports high visual diversity and physical fidelity without manual intervention. To evaluate the generated data, we train imitation learning policies on synthesized trajectories encompassing diverse object and environment variations. Extensive evaluations on tabletop manipulation tasks using the Piper robotic arm demonstrate that our policies robustly generalize to unseen objects in simulation and achieve effective sim-to-real transfer, successfully manipulating novel real-world objects.

ST-VLA: Enabling 4D-Aware Spatiotemporal Understanding for General Robot Manipulation

Robotic manipulation in open-world environments requires reasoning across semantics, geometry, and long-horizon action dynamics. Existing hierarchical Vision-Language-Action (VLA) frameworks typically use 2D representations to connect high-level reasoning with low-level control, but lack depth awareness and temporal consistency, limiting robustness in complex 3D scenes. We propose ST-VLA, a hierarchical VLA framework using a unified 3D-4D representation to bridge perception and action. ST-VLA converts 2D guidance into 3D trajectories and generates smooth spatial masks that capture 4D spatio-temporal context, providing a stable interface between semantic reasoning and continuous control. To enable effective learning of such representations, we introduce ST-Human, a large-scale human manipulation dataset with 14 tasks and 300k episodes, annotated with 2D, 3D, and 4D supervision via a semi-automated pipeline. Using ST-Human, we train ST-VLM, a spatio-temporal vision-language model that generates spatially grounded and temporally coherent 3D representations to guide policy execution. The smooth spatial masks focus on task-relevant geometry and stabilize latent representations, enabling online replanning and long-horizon reasoning. Experiments on RLBench and real-world manipulation tasks show that \method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art baselines, improving zero-shot success rates by 44.6% and 30.3%. These results demonstrate that offloading spatio-temporal reasoning to VLMs with unified 3D-4D representations substantially improves robustness and generalization for open-world robotic manipulation. SG-Reg: Generalizable and Efficient Scene Graph Registration

This paper addresses the challenges of registering two rigid semantic scene graphs, an essential capability when an autonomous agent needs to register its map against a remote agent, or against a prior map. The hand-crafted descriptors in classical semantic-aided registration, or the ground-truth annotation reliance in learning-based scene graph registration, impede their application in practical real-world environments. To address the challenges, we design a scene graph network to encode multiple modalities of semantic nodes: open-set semantic feature, local topology with spatial awareness, and shape feature. These modalities are fused to create compact semantic node features. The matching layers then search for correspondences in a coarse-to-fine manner. In the back-end, we employ a robust pose estimator to decide transformation according to the correspondences. We manage to maintain a sparse and hierarchical scene representation. Our approach demands fewer GPU resources and fewer communication bandwidth in multi-agent tasks. Moreover, we design a new data generation approach using vision foundation models and a semantic mapping module to reconstruct semantic scene graphs. It differs significantly from previous works, which rely on ground-truth semantic annotations to generate data. We validate our method in a two-agent SLAM benchmark. It significantly outperforms the hand-crafted baseline in terms of registration success rate. Compared to visual loop closure networks, our method achieves a slightly higher registration recall while requiring only 52 KB of communication bandwidth for each query frame. FM-Fusion: Instance-aware Semantic Mapping Boosted by Vision-Language Foundation Models

Semantic mapping based on the supervised object detectors is sensitive to image distribution. In real-world environments, the object detection and segmentation performance can lead to a major drop, preventing the use of semantic mapping in a wider domain. On the other hand, the development of vision-language foundation models demonstrates a strong zero-shot transferability across data distribution. It provides an opportunity to construct generalizable instance-aware semantic maps. Hence, this work explores how to boost instance-aware semantic mapping from object detection generated from foundation models. We propose a probabilistic label fusion method to predict close-set semantic classes from open-set label measurements. An instance refinement module merges the over-segmented instances caused by inconsistent segmentation. We integrate all the modules into a unified semantic mapping system. Reading a sequence of RGB-D input, our work incrementally reconstructs an instance-aware semantic map. We evaluate the zero-shot performance of our method in ScanNet and SceneNN datasets. Our method achieves 40.3 mean average precision (mAP) on the ScanNet semantic instance segmentation task. It outperforms the traditional semantic mapping method significantly.

SEPT: Standard-Definition Map Enhanced Scene Perception and Topology Reasoning for Autonomous Driving

Online scene perception and topology reasoning are critical for autonomous vehicles to understand their driving environments, particularly for mapless driving systems that endeavor to reduce reliance on costly High-Definition (HD) maps. However, recent advances in online scene understanding still face limitations, especially in long-range or occluded scenarios, due to the inherent constraints of onboard sensors. To address this challenge, we propose a Standard-Definition (SD) Map Enhanced scene Perception and Topology reasoning (SEPT) framework, which explores how to effectively incorporate the SD map as prior knowledge into existing perception and reasoning pipelines. Specifically, we introduce a novel hybrid feature fusion strategy that combines SD maps with Bird's-Eye-View (BEV) features, considering both rasterized and vectorized representations, while mitigating potential misalignment between SD maps and BEV feature spaces. Additionally, we leverage the SD map characteristics to design an auxiliary intersection-aware keypoint detection task, which further enhances the overall scene understanding performance. Experimental results on the large-scale OpenLane-V2 dataset demonstrate that by effectively integrating SD map priors, our framework significantly improves both scene perception and topology reasoning, outperforming existing methods by a substantial margin.

RoTri-Diff: A Spatial Robot-Object Triadic Interaction-Guided Diffusion Model for Bimanual Manipulation

Bimanual manipulation is a fundamental robotic skill that requires continuous and precise coordination between two arms. While imitation learning (IL) is the dominant paradigm for acquiring this capability, existing approaches, whether robot-centric or object-centric, often overlook the dynamic geometric relationship among the two arms and the manipulated object. This limitation frequently leads to inter-arm collisions, unstable grasps, and degraded performance in complex tasks. To address this, in this paper we explicitly models the Robot-Object Triadic Interaction (RoTri) representation in bimanual systems, by encoding the relative 6D poses between the two arms and the object to capture their spatial triadic relationship and establish continuous triangular geometric constraints. Building on this, we further introduce RoTri-Diff, a diffusion-based imitation learning framework that combines RoTri constraints with robot keyposes and object motion in a hierarchical diffusion process. This enables the generation of stable, coordinated trajectories and robust execution across different modes of bimanual manipulation. Extensive experiments show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art baselines by 10.2% on 11 representative RLBench2 tasks and achieves stable performance on 4 challenging real-world bimanual tasks. R2Q: Towards Robust 2-Bit Large Language Models via Residual Refinement Quantization

The rapid progress of Large Language Models (LLMs) has brought substantial computational and memory demands, spurring the adoption of low-bit quantization. While 8-bit and 4-bit formats have become prevalent, extending quantization to 2 bits remains challenging due to severe accuracy degradation. To address this, we propose Residual Refinement Quantization (R2Q)-a novel 2-bit quantization framework that decomposes the process into two sequential 1-bit sub-quantizations, forming an adaptive quantization lattice. Extensive evaluations on Llama, OPT, and Qwen across diverse benchmarks-covering question answering, commonsense reasoning, and language modeling-demonstrate that R2Q consistently outperforms existing 2-bit quantization methods in both fine-grained and coarse-grained settings. By refining quantization through a residual learning mechanism, R2Q enhances performance, improves training stability, and accelerates convergence under extreme compression. Furthermore, its modular design enables seamless integration with existing quantization-aware training (QAT) frameworks.

VDG: Vision-Only Dynamic Gaussian for Driving Simulation

Dynamic Gaussian splatting has led to impressive scene reconstruction and image synthesis advances in novel views. Existing methods, however, heavily rely on pre-computed poses and Gaussian initialization by Structure from Motion (SfM) algorithms or expensive sensors. For the first time, this paper addresses this issue by integrating self-supervised VO into our pose-free dynamic Gaussian method (VDG) to boost pose and depth initialization and static-dynamic decomposition. Moreover, VDG can work with only RGB image input and construct dynamic scenes at a faster speed and larger scenes compared with the pose-free dynamic view-synthesis method. We demonstrate the robustness of our approach via extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments. Our results show favorable performance over the state-of-the-art dynamic view synthesis methods. Temporal Point Cloud Completion with Pose Disturbance

Point clouds collected by real-world sensors are always unaligned and sparse, which makes it hard to reconstruct the complete shape of object from a single frame of data. In this work, we manage to provide complete point clouds from sparse input with pose disturbance by limited translation and rotation. We also use temporal information to enhance the completion model, refining the output with a sequence of inputs. With the help of gated recovery units(GRU) and attention mechanisms as temporal units, we propose a point cloud completion framework that accepts a sequence of unaligned and sparse inputs, and outputs consistent and aligned point clouds. Our network performs in an online manner and presents a refined point cloud for each frame, which enables it to be integrated into any SLAM or reconstruction pipeline. As far as we know, our framework is the first to utilize temporal information and ensure temporal consistency with limited transformation. Through experiments in ShapeNet and KITTI, we prove that our framework is effective in both synthetic and real-world datasets.

Graph-Guided Deformation for Point Cloud Completion

For a long time, the point cloud completion task has been regarded as a pure generation task. After obtaining the global shape code through the encoder, a complete point cloud is generated using the shape priorly learnt by the networks. However, such models are undesirably biased towards prior average objects and inherently limited to fit geometry details. In this paper, we propose a Graph-Guided Deformation Network, which respectively regards the input data and intermediate generation as controlling and supporting points, and models the optimization guided by a graph convolutional network(GCN) for the point cloud completion task. Our key insight is to simulate the least square Laplacian deformation process via mesh deformation methods, which brings adaptivity for modeling variation in geometry details. By this means, we also reduce the gap between the completion task and the mesh deformation algorithms. As far as we know, we are the first to refine the point cloud completion task by mimicing traditional graphics algorithms with GCN-guided deformation. We have conducted extensive experiments on both the simulated indoor dataset ShapeNet, outdoor dataset KITTI, and our self-collected autonomous driving dataset Pandar40. The results show that our method outperforms the existing state-of-the-art algorithms in the 3D point cloud completion task.

Tracking from Patterns: Learning Corresponding Patterns in Point Clouds for 3D Object Tracking

A robust 3D object tracker which continuously tracks surrounding objects and estimates their trajectories is key for self-driving vehicles. Most existing tracking methods employ a tracking-by-detection strategy, which usually requires complex pair-wise similarity computation and neglects the nature of continuous object motion. In this paper, we propose to directly learn 3D object correspondences from temporal point cloud data and infer the motion information from correspondence patterns. We modify the standard 3D object detector to process two lidar frames at the same time and predict bounding box pairs for the association and motion estimation tasks. We also equip our pipeline with a simple yet effective velocity smoothing module to estimate consistent object motion. Benifiting from the learned correspondences and motion refinement, our method exceeds the existing 3D tracking methods on both the KITTI and larger scale Nuscenes dataset.

Joint Spatial-Temporal Optimization for Stereo 3D Object Tracking

Directly learning multiple 3D objects motion from sequential images is difficult, while the geometric bundle adjustment lacks the ability to localize the invisible object centroid. To benefit from both the powerful object understanding skill from deep neural network meanwhile tackle precise geometry modeling for consistent trajectory estimation, we propose a joint spatial-temporal optimization-based stereo 3D object tracking method. From the network, we detect corresponding 2D bounding boxes on adjacent images and regress an initial 3D bounding box. Dense object cues (local depth and local coordinates) that associating to the object centroid are then predicted using a region-based network. Considering both the instant localization accuracy and motion consistency, our optimization models the relations between the object centroid and observed cues into a joint spatial-temporal error function. All historic cues will be summarized to contribute to the current estimation by a per-frame marginalization strategy without repeated computation. Quantitative evaluation on the KITTI tracking dataset shows our approach outperforms previous image-based 3D tracking methods by significant margins. We also report extensive results on multiple categories and larger datasets (KITTI raw and Argoverse Tracking) for future benchmarking.

Coarse-To-Fine Visual Localization Using Semantic Compact Map

Robust visual localization for urban vehicles remains challenging and unsolved. The limitation of computation efficiency and memory size has made it harder for large-scale applications. Since semantic information serves as a stable and compact representation of the environment, we propose a coarse-to-fine localization system based on a semantic compact map. Pole-like objects are stored in the compact map, then are extracted from semantically segmented images as observations. Localization is performed by a particle filter, followed by a pose alignment module decoupling translation and rotation to achieve better accuracy. We evaluate our system both on synthetic and realistic datasets and compare it with two baselines, a state-of-art semantic feature-based system, and a traditional SIFT feature-based system. Experiments demonstrate that even with a significantly small map, such as a 10 KB map for a 3.7 km long trajectory, our system provides a comparable accuracy with the baselines.

DF-SLAM: A Deep-Learning Enhanced Visual SLAM System based on Deep Local Features

As the foundation of driverless vehicle and intelligent robots, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM) has attracted much attention these days. However, non-geometric modules of traditional SLAM algorithms are limited by data association tasks and have become a bottleneck preventing the development of SLAM. To deal with such problems, many researchers seek to Deep Learning for help. But most of these studies are limited to virtual datasets or specific environments, and even sacrifice efficiency for accuracy. Thus, they are not practical enough. We propose DF-SLAM system that uses deep local feature descriptors obtained by the neural network as a substitute for traditional hand-made features. Experimental results demonstrate its improvements in efficiency and stability. DF-SLAM outperforms popular traditional SLAM systems in various scenes, including challenging scenes with intense illumination changes. Its versatility and mobility fit well into the need for exploring new environments. Since we adopt a shallow network to extract local descriptors and remain others the same as original SLAM systems, our DF-SLAM can still run in real-time on GPU.

An Efficient Volumetric Mesh Representation for Real-time Scene Reconstruction using Spatial Hashing

Mesh plays an indispensable role in dense real-time reconstruction essential in robotics. Efforts have been made to maintain flexible data structures for 3D data fusion, yet an efficient incremental framework specifically designed for online mesh storage and manipulation is missing. We propose a novel framework to compactly generate, update, and refine mesh for scene reconstruction upon a volumetric representation. Maintaining a spatial-hashed field of cubes, we distribute vertices with continuous value on discrete edges that support O(1) vertex accessing and forbid memory redundancy. By introducing Hamming distance in mesh refinement, we further improve the mesh quality regarding the triangle type consistency with a low cost. Lock-based and lock-free operations were applied to avoid thread conflicts in GPU parallel computation. Experiments demonstrate that the mesh memory consumption is significantly reduced while the running speed is kept in the online reconstruction process.
