Concentrated real-pole uniform-in-time approximation of the matrix exponentialStefan Güttel, Shuai Shao
We propose an asympotically optimal choice of shared concentrated real poles of a family of rational approximants of time-dependent exponential functions $\exp(-tz)$ for $z \geq 0$ and $t$ in a positive time interval $T$. Our result extends a classical result by J.-E. Andersson [J. Approx. Theory, 32(2):85--95, 1981] on the asymptotic best rational approximation of $\exp(-z)$ with real poles. Numerical experiments demonstrate the near-optimality of our choice for various time ranges and for both small and large approximation degrees. An application of the uniform-in-time rational approximation using our proposed concentrated real poles to a linear constant-coefficient initial-value problem is also discussed.

Algorithm Selection for Deep Active Learning with Imbalanced DatasetsJifan Zhang, Shuai Shao, Saurabh Verma et al.
Label efficiency has become an increasingly important objective in deep learning applications. Active learning aims to reduce the number of labeled examples needed to train deep networks, but the empirical performance of active learning algorithms can vary dramatically across datasets and applications. It is difficult to know in advance which active learning strategy will perform well or best in a given application. To address this, we propose the first adaptive algorithm selection strategy for deep active learning. For any unlabeled dataset, our (meta) algorithm TAILOR (Thompson ActIve Learning algORithm selection) iteratively and adaptively chooses among a set of candidate active learning algorithms. TAILOR uses novel reward functions aimed at gathering class-balanced examples. Extensive experiments in multi-class and multi-label applications demonstrate TAILOR's effectiveness in achieving accuracy comparable or better than that of the best of the candidate algorithms. FVP: Fourier Visual Prompting for Source-Free Unsupervised Domain Adaptation of Medical Image SegmentationYan Wang, Jian Cheng, Yixin Chen et al.
Medical image segmentation methods normally perform poorly when there is a domain shift between training and testing data. Unsupervised Domain Adaptation (UDA) addresses the domain shift problem by training the model using both labeled data from the source domain and unlabeled data from the target domain. Source-Free UDA (SFUDA) was recently proposed for UDA without requiring the source data during the adaptation, due to data privacy or data transmission issues, which normally adapts the pre-trained deep model in the testing stage. However, in real clinical scenarios of medical image segmentation, the trained model is normally frozen in the testing stage. In this paper, we propose Fourier Visual Prompting (FVP) for SFUDA of medical image segmentation. Inspired by prompting learning in natural language processing, FVP steers the frozen pre-trained model to perform well in the target domain by adding a visual prompt to the input target data. In FVP, the visual prompt is parameterized using only a small amount of low-frequency learnable parameters in the input frequency space, and is learned by minimizing the segmentation loss between the predicted segmentation of the prompted target image and reliable pseudo segmentation label of the target image under the frozen model. To our knowledge, FVP is the first work to apply visual prompts to SFUDA for medical image segmentation. The proposed FVP is validated using three public datasets, and experiments demonstrate that FVP yields better segmentation results, compared with various existing methods.

GCT: Graph Co-Training for Semi-Supervised Few-Shot LearningRui Xu, Lei Xing, Shuai Shao et al.
Few-shot learning (FSL), purposing to resolve the problem of data-scarce, has attracted considerable attention in recent years. A popular FSL framework contains two phases: (i) the pre-train phase employs the base data to train a CNN-based feature extractor. (ii) the meta-test phase applies the frozen feature extractor to novel data (novel data has different categories from base data) and designs a classifier for recognition. To correct few-shot data distribution, researchers propose Semi-Supervised Few-Shot Learning (SSFSL) by introducing unlabeled data. Although SSFSL has been proved to achieve outstanding performances in the FSL community, there still exists a fundamental problem: the pre-trained feature extractor can not adapt to the novel data flawlessly due to the cross-category setting. Usually, large amounts of noises are introduced to the novel feature. We dub it as Feature-Extractor-Maladaptive (FEM) problem. To tackle FEM, we make two efforts in this paper. First, we propose a novel label prediction method, Isolated Graph Learning (IGL). IGL introduces the Laplacian operator to encode the raw data to graph space, which helps reduce the dependence on features when classifying, and then project graph representation to label space for prediction. The key point is that: IGL can weaken the negative influence of noise from the feature representation perspective, and is also flexible to independently complete training and testing procedures, which is suitable for SSFSL. Second, we propose Graph Co-Training (GCT) to tackle this challenge from a multi-modal fusion perspective by extending the proposed IGL to the co-training framework. GCT is a semi-supervised method that exploits the unlabeled samples with two modal features to crossly strengthen the IGL classifier.

Birds of A Feather Flock Together: Category-Divergence Guidance for Domain Adaptive SegmentationBo Yuan, Danpei Zhao, Shuai Shao et al.
Unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) aims to enhance the generalization capability of a certain model from a source domain to a target domain. Present UDA models focus on alleviating the domain shift by minimizing the feature discrepancy between the source domain and the target domain but usually ignore the class confusion problem. In this work, we propose an Inter-class Separation and Intra-class Aggregation (ISIA) mechanism. It encourages the cross-domain representative consistency between the same categories and differentiation among diverse categories. In this way, the features belonging to the same categories are aligned together and the confusable categories are separated. By measuring the align complexity of each category, we design an Adaptive-weighted Instance Matching (AIM) strategy to further optimize the instance-level adaptation. Based on our proposed methods, we also raise a hierarchical unsupervised domain adaptation framework for cross-domain semantic segmentation task. Through performing the image-level, feature-level, category-level and instance-level alignment, our method achieves a stronger generalization performance of the model from the source domain to the target domain. In two typical cross-domain semantic segmentation tasks, i.e., GTA5 to Cityscapes and SYNTHIA to Cityscapes, our method achieves the state-of-the-art segmentation accuracy. We also build two cross-domain semantic segmentation datasets based on the publicly available data, i.e., remote sensing building segmentation and road segmentation, for domain adaptive segmentation.

EVE: Efficient Vision-Language Pre-training with Masked Prediction and Modality-Aware MoEJunyi Chen, Longteng Guo, Jia Sun et al.
Building scalable vision-language models to learn from diverse, multimodal data remains an open challenge. In this paper, we introduce an Efficient Vision-languagE foundation model, namely EVE, which is one unified multimodal Transformer pre-trained solely by one unified pre-training task. Specifically, EVE encodes both vision and language within a shared Transformer network integrated with modality-aware sparse Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) modules, which capture modality-specific information by selectively switching to different experts. To unify pre-training tasks of vision and language, EVE performs masked signal modeling on image-text pairs to reconstruct masked signals, i.e., image pixels and text tokens, given visible signals. This simple yet effective pre-training objective accelerates training by 3.5x compared to the model pre-trained with Image-Text Contrastive and Image-Text Matching losses. Owing to the combination of the unified architecture and pre-training task, EVE is easy to scale up, enabling better downstream performance with fewer resources and faster training speed. Despite its simplicity, EVE achieves state-of-the-art performance on various vision-language downstream tasks, including visual question answering, visual reasoning, and image-text retrieval.

MAMO: Masked Multimodal Modeling for Fine-Grained Vision-Language Representation LearningZijia Zhao, Longteng Guo, Xingjian He et al.
Multimodal representation learning has shown promising improvements on various vision-language tasks. Most existing methods excel at building global-level alignment between vision and language while lacking effective fine-grained image-text interaction. In this paper, we propose a jointly masked multimodal modeling method to learn fine-grained multimodal representations. Our method performs joint masking on image-text input and integrates both implicit and explicit targets for the masked signals to recover. The implicit target provides a unified and debiased objective for vision and language, where the model predicts latent multimodal representations of the unmasked input. The explicit target further enriches the multimodal representations by recovering high-level and semantically meaningful information: momentum visual features of image patches and concepts of word tokens. Through such a masked modeling process, our model not only learns fine-grained multimodal interaction, but also avoids the semantic gap between high-level representations and low- or mid-level prediction targets (e.g. image pixels), thus producing semantically rich multimodal representations that perform well on both zero-shot and fine-tuned settings. Our pre-trained model (named MAMO) achieves state-of-the-art performance on various downstream vision-language tasks, including image-text retrieval, visual question answering, visual reasoning, and weakly-supervised visual grounding.

AgentDoG 1.5: A Lightweight and Scalable Alignment Framework for AI Agent Safety and SecurityDongrui Liu, Yu Li, Zhonghao Yang et al.
Modern open-world agents such as OpenClaw exhibit powerful cross-environment execution capabilities yet introduce broad new safety risk sources. Meanwhile, advanced frontier AI models drastically lower attack barriers, rendering current agent alignment frameworks inadequate for real-world deployment. To tackle these emerging threats, we propose a lightweight and scalable agent safety alignment framework. Specifically, we update the agent safety taxonomy to accommodate emergent risks from Codex and OpenClaw execution scenarios. We further build a taxonomy-guided data engine with influence-function purification to train lightweight AgentDoG 1.5 variants (0.8B, 2B, 4B, and 8B parameters) using only around 1k samples, achieving comparable performance with leading closed-source models (e.g., GPT-5.4). Based on AgentDoG 1.5, we construct a highly efficient agentic safety SFT and RL training environment, which reduces deployment overhead in Docker-level environments by two orders of magnitude. Finally, we deploy AgentDoG 1.5 as a training-free online guardrail for real-time safety moderation. Extensive experimental results indicate that AgentDoG 1.5 achieves state-of-the-art performance in diverse and complex interactive agentic scenarios. All models and datasets are openly released.

Benchmark Test-Time Scaling of General LLM AgentsXiaochuan Li, Ryan Ming, Pranav Setlur et al.
LLM agents are increasingly expected to function as general-purpose systems capable of resolving open-ended user requests. While existing benchmarks focus on domain-aware environments for developing specialized agents, evaluating general-purpose agents requires more realistic settings that challenge them to operate across multiple skills and tools within a unified environment. We introduce General AgentBench, a benchmark that provides such a unified framework for evaluating general LLM agents across search, coding, reasoning, and tool-use domains. Using General AgentBench, we systematically study test-time scaling behaviors under sequential scaling (iterative interaction) and parallel scaling (sampling multiple trajectories). Evaluation of ten leading LLM agents reveals a substantial performance degradation when moving from domain-specific evaluations to this general-agent setting. Moreover, we find that neither scaling methodology yields effective performance improvements in practice, due to two fundamental limitations: context ceiling in sequential scaling and verification gap in parallel scaling. Simple Yet Surprisingly Effective Training Strategies for LSTMs in Sensor-Based Human Activity RecognitionShuai Shao, Yu Guan, Xin Guan et al.
Human Activity Recognition (HAR) is one of the core research areas in mobile and wearable computing. With the application of deep learning (DL) techniques such as CNN, recognizing periodic or static activities (e.g, walking, lying, cycling, etc.) has become a well studied problem. What remains a major challenge though is the sporadic activity recognition (SAR) problem, where activities of interest tend to be non periodic, and occur less frequently when compared with the often large amount of irrelevant background activities. Recent works suggested that sequential DL models (such as LSTMs) have great potential for modeling nonperiodic behaviours, and in this paper we studied some LSTM training strategies for SAR. Specifically, we proposed two simple yet effective LSTM variants, namely delay model and inverse model, for two SAR scenarios (with and without time critical requirement). For time critical SAR, the delay model can effectively exploit predefined delay intervals (within tolerance) in form of contextual information for improved performance. For regular SAR task, the second proposed, inverse model can learn patterns from the time series in an inverse manner, which can be complementary to the forward model (i.e.,LSTM), and combining both can boost the performance. These two LSTM variants are very practical, and they can be deemed as training strategies without alteration of the LSTM fundamentals. We also studied some additional LSTM training strategies, which can further improve the accuracy. We evaluated our models on two SAR and one non-SAR datasets, and the promising results demonstrated the effectiveness of our approaches in HAR applications.

How Well Does Generative Recommendation Generalize?Yijie Ding, Zitian Guo, Jiacheng Li et al.
A widely held hypothesis for why generative recommendation (GR) models outperform conventional item ID-based models is that they generalize better. However, there is few systematic way to verify this hypothesis beyond a superficial comparison of overall performance. To address this gap, we categorize each data instance based on the specific capability required for a correct prediction: either memorization (reusing item transition patterns observed during training) or generalization (composing known patterns to predict unseen item transitions). Extensive experiments show that GR models perform better on instances that require generalization, whereas item ID-based models perform better when memorization is more important. To explain this divergence, we shift the analysis from the item level to the token level and show that what appears to be item-level generalization often reduces to token-level memorization for GR models. Finally, we show that the two paradigms are complementary. We propose a simple memorization-aware indicator that adaptively combines them on a per-instance basis, leading to improved overall recommendation performance.

Code2Math: Can Your Code Agent Effectively Evolve Math Problems Through Exploration?Dadi Guo, Yuejin Xie, Qingyu Liu et al.
As large language models (LLMs) advance their mathematical capabilities toward the IMO level, the scarcity of challenging, high-quality problems for training and evaluation has become a significant bottleneck. Simultaneously, recent code agents have demonstrated sophisticated skills in agentic coding and reasoning, suggesting that code execution can serve as a scalable environment for mathematical experimentation. In this paper, we investigate the potential of code agents to autonomously evolve existing math problems into more complex variations. We introduce a multi-agent framework designed to perform problem evolution while validating the solvability and increased difficulty of the generated problems. Our experiments demonstrate that, given sufficient test-time exploration, code agents can synthesize new, solvable problems that are structurally distinct from and more challenging than the originals. This work provides empirical evidence that code-driven agents can serve as a viable mechanism for synthesizing high-difficulty mathematical reasoning problems within scalable computational environments. AgentDoG: A Diagnostic Guardrail Framework for AI Agent Safety and SecurityDongrui Liu, Qihan Ren, Chen Qian et al.
The rise of AI agents introduces complex safety and security challenges arising from autonomous tool use and environmental interactions. Current guardrail models lack agentic risk awareness and transparency in risk diagnosis. To introduce an agentic guardrail that covers complex and numerous risky behaviors, we first propose a unified three-dimensional taxonomy that orthogonally categorizes agentic risks by their source (where), failure mode (how), and consequence (what). Guided by this structured and hierarchical taxonomy, we introduce a new fine-grained agentic safety benchmark (ATBench) and a Diagnostic Guardrail framework for agent safety and security (AgentDoG). AgentDoG provides fine-grained and contextual monitoring across agent trajectories. More Crucially, AgentDoG can diagnose the root causes of unsafe actions and seemingly safe but unreasonable actions, offering provenance and transparency beyond binary labels to facilitate effective agent alignment. AgentDoG variants are available in three sizes (4B, 7B, and 8B parameters) across Qwen and Llama model families. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that AgentDoG achieves state-of-the-art performance in agentic safety moderation in diverse and complex interactive scenarios. ATBench: A Diverse and Realistic Trajectory Benchmark for Long-Horizon Agent SafetyYu Li, Haoyu Luo, Yuejin Xie et al.
Evaluating the safety of LLM-based agents is increasingly important because risks in realistic deployments often emerge over multi-step interactions rather than isolated prompts or final responses. Existing trajectory-level benchmarks remain limited by insufficient interaction diversity, coarse observability of safety failures, and weak long-horizon realism. We introduce ATBench, a trajectory-level benchmark for structured, diverse, and realistic evaluation of agent safety. ATBench organizes agentic risk along three dimensions: risk source, failure mode, and real-world harm. Based on this taxonomy, we construct trajectories with heterogeneous tool pools and a long-context delayed-trigger protocol that captures realistic risk emergence across multiple stages. The benchmark contains 1,000 trajectories (503 safe and 497 unsafe), averaging 9.01 turns and 3.95k tokens, with 1,954 invoked tools drawn from pools spanning 2,084 available tools. Data quality is supported by rule-based and LLM-based filtering plus full human audit. Experiments on frontier LLMs, open-source models, and specialized guard systems show that ATBench is challenging even for strong evaluators, while enabling taxonomy-stratified analysis, cross-benchmark comparison, and diagnosis of long-horizon failure patterns.

Deep Reinforcement Learning-Assisted Automated Operator Portfolio for Constrained Multi-objective OptimizationShuai Shao, Ye Tian, Shangshang Yang et al.
Constrained multi-objective optimization problems (CMOPs) are of great significance in the context of practical applications, ranging from scientific to engineering domains. Most existing constrained multi-objective evolutionary algorithms (CMOEAs) usually employ fixed operators all the time, which exhibit poor versatility in handling various CMOPs. Therefore, some recent studies have focused on adaptively selecting the best operators for the current population states during the search process. The evolutionary algorithms proposed in these studies learn the value of each operator and recommend the operator with the highest value for the current population, resulting in only a single operator being recommended at each generation, which can potentially lead to local optima and inefficient utilization of function evaluations. To address the dilemma in operator adaptation, this paper proposes a reinforcement learning-based automated operator portfolio approach to learn an allocation scheme of operators at each generation. This approach considers the optimization-related and constraint-related features of the current population as states, the overall improvement in population convergence and diversity as rewards, and different operator portfolios as actions. By utilizing deep neural networks to establish a mapping model between the population states and the expected cumulative rewards, the proposed approach determines the optimal operator portfolio during the evolutionary process. By embedding the proposed approach into existing CMOEAs, a deep reinforcement learning-assisted automated operator portfolio based evolutionary algorithm for solving CMOPs, abbreviated as CMOEA-AOP, is developed. Empirical studies on 33 benchmark problems demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly enhances the performance of CMOEAs and exhibits more stable performance across different CMOPs.

Are Your Agents Upward Deceivers?Dadi Guo, Qingyu Liu, Dongrui Liu et al.
Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents are increasingly used as autonomous subordinates that carry out tasks for users. This raises the question of whether they may also engage in deception, similar to how individuals in human organizations lie to superiors to create a good image or avoid punishment. We observe and define agentic upward deception, a phenomenon in which an agent facing environmental constraints conceals its failure and performs actions that were not requested without reporting. To assess its prevalence, we construct a benchmark of 200 tasks covering five task types and eight realistic scenarios in a constrained environment, such as broken tools or mismatched information sources. Evaluations of 11 popular LLMs reveal that these agents typically exhibit action-based deceptive behaviors, such as guessing results, performing unsupported simulations, substituting unavailable information sources, and fabricating local files. We further test prompt-based mitigation and find only limited reductions, suggesting that it is difficult to eliminate and highlighting the need for stronger mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of LLM-based agents.

Virtual Biopsy for Intracranial Tumors Diagnosis on MRIXinzhe Luo, Shuai Shao, Yan Wang et al.
Deep intracranial tumors situated in eloquent brain regions controlling vital functions present critical diagnostic challenges. Clinical practice has shifted toward stereotactic biopsy for pathological confirmation before treatment. Yet biopsy carries inherent risks of hemorrhage and neurological deficits and struggles with sampling bias due to tumor spatial heterogeneity, because pathological changes are typically region-selective rather than tumor-wide. Therefore, advancing non-invasive MRI-based pathology prediction is essential for holistic tumor assessment and modern clinical decision-making. The primary challenge lies in data scarcity: low tumor incidence requires long collection cycles, and annotation demands biopsy-verified pathology from neurosurgical experts. Additionally, tiny lesion volumes lacking segmentation masks cause critical features to be overwhelmed by background noise. To address these challenges, we construct the ICT-MRI dataset - the first public biopsy-verified benchmark with 249 cases across four categories. We propose a Virtual Biopsy framework comprising: MRI-Processor for standardization; Tumor-Localizer employing vision-language models for coarse-to-fine localization via weak supervision; and Adaptive-Diagnoser with a Masked Channel Attention mechanism fusing local discriminative features with global contexts. Experiments demonstrate over 90% accuracy, outperforming baselines by more than 20%.

Rethinking Generalization in Reasoning SFT: A Conditional Analysis on Optimization, Data, and Model CapabilityQihan Ren, Peng Wang, Ruikun Cai et al.
A prevailing narrative in LLM post-training holds that supervised finetuning (SFT) memorizes while reinforcement learning (RL) generalizes. We revisit this claim for reasoning SFT with long chain-of-thought (CoT) supervision and find that cross-domain generalization is not absent but conditional, jointly shaped by optimization dynamics, training data, and base-model capability. Some reported failures are under-optimization artifacts: cross-domain performance first degrades before recovering and improving with extended training (a dip-and-recovery pattern), so shorttraining checkpoints can underestimate generalization. Data quality and structure both matter: low-quality solutions broadly hurt generalization,while verified long-CoT traces yield consistent cross-domain gains. Model capability is essential: stronger models internalize transferable procedural patterns (e.g., backtracking) even from a toy arithmetic game, while weaker ones imitate surface verbosity. This generalization is asymmetric, however: reasoning improves while safety degrades, reframing the question from whether reasoning SFT generalizes to under what conditions and at what cost.

Preference Discerning with LLM-Enhanced Generative RetrievalFabian Paischer, Liu Yang, Linfeng Liu et al.
In sequential recommendation, models recommend items based on user's interaction history. To this end, current models usually incorporate information such as item descriptions and user intent or preferences. User preferences are usually not explicitly given in open-source datasets, and thus need to be approximated, for example via large language models (LLMs). Current approaches leverage approximated user preferences only during training and rely solely on the past interaction history for recommendations, limiting their ability to dynamically adapt to changing preferences, potentially reinforcing echo chambers. To address this issue, we propose a new paradigm, namely preference discerning, which explicitly conditions a generative recommendation model on user preferences in natural language within its context. To evaluate preference discerning, we introduce a novel benchmark that provides a holistic evaluation across various scenarios, including preference steering and sentiment following. Upon evaluating current state-of-the-art methods on our benchmark, we discover that their ability to dynamically adapt to evolving user preferences is limited. To address this, we propose a new method named Mender ($\textbf{M}$ultimodal Prefer$\textbf{en}$ce $\textbf{D}$iscern$\textbf{er}$), which achieves state-of-the-art performance in our benchmark. Our results show that Mender effectively adapts its recommendation guided by human preferences, even if not observed during training, paving the way toward more flexible recommendation models.

MMSkills: Towards Multimodal Skills for General Visual AgentsKangning Zhang, Shuai Shao, Qingyao Li et al.
Reusable skills have become a core substrate for improving agent capabilities, yet most existing skill packages encode reusable behavior primarily as textual prompts, executable code, or learned routines. For visual agents, however, procedural knowledge is inherently multimodal: reuse depends not only on what operation to perform, but also on recognizing the relevant state, interpreting visual evidence of progress or failure, and deciding what to do next. We formalize this requirement as multimodal procedural knowledge and address three practical challenges: (I) what a multimodal skill package should contain; (II) where such packages can be derived from public interaction experience; and (III) how agents can consult multimodal evidence at inference time without excessive image context or over-anchoring to reference screenshots. We introduce MMSkills, a framework for representing, generating, and using reusable multimodal procedures for runtime visual decision making. Each MMSkill is a compact, state-conditioned package that couples a textual procedure with runtime state cards and multi-view keyframes. To construct these packages, we develop an agentic trajectory-to-skill Generator that transforms public non-evaluation trajectories into reusable multimodal skills through workflow grouping, procedure induction, visual grounding, and meta-skill-guided auditing. To use them, we introduce a branch-loaded multimodal skill agent: selected state cards and keyframes are inspected in a temporary branch, aligned with the live environment, and distilled into structured guidance for the main agent. Experiments across GUI and game-based visual-agent benchmarks show that MMSkills consistently improve both frontier and smaller multimodal agents, suggesting that external multimodal procedural knowledge complements model-internal priors.

ChatSearch: a Dataset and a Generative Retrieval Model for General Conversational Image RetrievalZijia Zhao, Longteng Guo, Tongtian Yue et al.
In this paper, we investigate the task of general conversational image retrieval on open-domain images. The objective is to search for images based on interactive conversations between humans and computers. To advance this task, we curate a dataset called ChatSearch. This dataset includes a multi-round multimodal conversational context query for each target image, thereby requiring the retrieval system to find the accurate image from database. Simultaneously, we propose a generative retrieval model named ChatSearcher, which is trained end-to-end to accept/produce interleaved image-text inputs/outputs. ChatSearcher exhibits strong capability in reasoning with multimodal context and can leverage world knowledge to yield visual retrieval results. It demonstrates superior performance on the ChatSearch dataset and also achieves competitive results on other image retrieval tasks and visual conversation tasks. VisionCreator: A Native Visual-Generation Agentic Model with Understanding, Thinking, Planning and CreationJinxiang Lai, Zexin Lu, Jiajun He et al.
Visual content creation tasks demand a nuanced understanding of design conventions and creative workflows-capabilities challenging for general models, while workflow-based agents lack specialized knowledge for autonomous creative planning. To overcome these challenges, we propose VisionCreator, a native visual-generation agentic model that unifies Understanding, Thinking, Planning, and Creation (UTPC) capabilities within an end-to-end learnable framework. Our work introduces four key contributions: (i) VisGenData-4k and its construction methodology using metacognition-based VisionAgent to generate high-quality creation trajectories with explicit UTPC structures; (ii) The VisionCreator agentic model, optimized through Progressive Specialization Training (PST) and Virtual Reinforcement Learning (VRL) within a high-fidelity simulated environment, enabling stable and efficient acquisition of UTPC capabilities for complex creation tasks; (iii) VisGenBench, a comprehensive benchmark featuring 1.2k test samples across diverse scenarios for standardized evaluation of multi-step visual creation capabilities; (iv) Remarkably, our VisionCreator-8B/32B models demonstrate superior performance over larger closed-source models across multiple evaluation dimensions. Overall, this work provides a foundation for future research in visual-generation agentic systems.

OmniVideo-R1: Reinforcing Audio-visual Reasoning with Query Intention and Modality AttentionZhangquan Chen, Jiale Tao, Ruihuang Li et al.
While humans perceive the world through diverse modalities that operate synergistically to support a holistic understanding of their surroundings, existing omnivideo models still face substantial challenges on audio-visual understanding tasks. In this paper, we propose OmniVideo-R1, a novel reinforced framework that improves mixed-modality reasoning. OmniVideo-R1 empowers models to "think with omnimodal cues" by two key strategies: (1) query-intensive grounding based on self-supervised learning paradigms; and (2) modality-attentive fusion built upon contrastive learning paradigms. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmarks demonstrate that OmniVideo-R1 consistently outperforms strong baselines, highlighting its effectiveness and robust generalization capabilities.

The Why Behind the Action: Unveiling Internal Drivers via Agentic AttributionChen Qian, Peng Wang, Dongrui Liu et al.
Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents are widely used in real-world applications such as customer service, web navigation, and software engineering. As these systems become more autonomous and are deployed at scale, understanding why an agent takes a particular action becomes increasingly important for accountability and governance. However, existing research predominantly focuses on \textit{failure attribution} to localize explicit errors in unsuccessful trajectories, which is insufficient for explaining the reasoning behind agent behaviors. To bridge this gap, we propose a novel framework for \textbf{general agentic attribution}, designed to identify the internal factors driving agent actions regardless of the task outcome. Our framework operates hierarchically to manage the complexity of agent interactions. Specifically, at the \textit{component level}, we employ temporal likelihood dynamics to identify critical interaction steps; then at the \textit{sentence level}, we refine this localization using perturbation-based analysis to isolate the specific textual evidence. We validate our framework across a diverse suite of agentic scenarios, including standard tool use and subtle reliability risks like memory-induced bias. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework reliably pinpoints pivotal historical events and sentences behind the agent behavior, offering a critical step toward safer and more accountable agentic systems.

Your Agent May Misevolve: Emergent Risks in Self-evolving LLM AgentsShuai Shao, Qihan Ren, Chen Qian et al. · princeton
Advances in Large Language Models (LLMs) have enabled a new class of self-evolving agents that autonomously improve through interaction with the environment, demonstrating strong capabilities. However, self-evolution also introduces novel risks overlooked by current safety research. In this work, we study the case where an agent's self-evolution deviates in unintended ways, leading to undesirable or even harmful outcomes. We refer to this as Misevolution. To provide a systematic investigation, we evaluate misevolution along four key evolutionary pathways: model, memory, tool, and workflow. Our empirical findings reveal that misevolution is a widespread risk, affecting agents built even on top-tier LLMs (e.g., Gemini-2.5-Pro). Different emergent risks are observed in the self-evolutionary process, such as the degradation of safety alignment after memory accumulation, or the unintended introduction of vulnerabilities in tool creation and reuse. To our knowledge, this is the first study to systematically conceptualize misevolution and provide empirical evidence of its occurrence, highlighting an urgent need for new safety paradigms for self-evolving agents. Finally, we discuss potential mitigation strategies to inspire further research on building safer and more trustworthy self-evolving agents. An Evolutionary Algorithm with Probabilistic Annealing for Large-scale Sparse Multi-objective OptimizationShuai Shao, Yuhao Sun, Xing Chen et al.
Large-scale sparse multi-objective optimization problems (LSMOPs) are prevalent in real-world applications, where optimal solutions typically contain only a few nonzero variables, such as in adversarial attacks, critical node detection, and sparse signal reconstruction. Since the function evaluation of LSMOPs often relies on large-scale datasets involving a large number of decision variables, the search space becomes extremely high-dimensional. The coexistence of sparsity and high dimensionality greatly intensifies the conflict between exploration and exploitation, making it difficult for existing multi-objective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) to identify the critical nonzero decision variables within limited function evaluations. To address this challenge, this paper proposes an evolutionary algorithm with probabilistic annealing for large-scale sparse multi-objective optimization. The algorithm is driven by two probability vectors with distinct entropy characteristics: a convergence-oriented probability vector with relatively low entropy ensures stable exploitation, whereas an annealed probability vector with gradually decreasing entropy enables an adaptive transition from global exploration to local refinement. By integrating these complementary search dynamics, the proposed algorithm achieves a dynamic equilibrium between exploration and exploitation. Experimental results on benchmark problems and real-world applications demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art evolutionary algorithms in terms of both convergence and diversity.

EffectMaker: Unifying Reasoning and Generation for Customized Visual Effect CreationShiyuan Yang, Ruihuang Li, Jiale Tao et al.
Visual effects (VFX) are essential for enhancing the expressiveness and creativity of video content, yet producing high-quality effects typically requires expert knowledge and costly production pipelines. Existing AIGC systems face significant challenges in VFX generation due to the scarcity of effect-specific data and the inherent difficulty of modeling supernatural or stylized effects. Moreover, these approaches often require per-effect fine-tuning, which severely limits their scalability and generalization to novel VFX. In this work, we present EffectMaker, a unified reasoning-generation framework that enables reference-based VFX customization. EffectMaker employs a multimodal large language model to interpret high-level effect semantics and reason about how they should adapt to a target subject, while a diffusion transformer leverages in-context learning to capture fine-grained visual cues from reference videos. These two components form a semantic-visual dual-path guidance mechanism that enables accurate, controllable, and effect-consistent synthesis without per-effect fine-tuning. Furthermore, we construct EffectData, the largest high-quality synthetic dataset containing 130k videos across 3k VFX categories, to improve generalization and scalability. Experiments show that EffectMaker achieves superior visual quality and effect consistency over state-of-the-art baselines, offering a scalable and flexible paradigm for customized VFX generation. TAGRPO: Boosting GRPO on Image-to-Video Generation with Direct Trajectory AlignmentJin Wang, Jianxiang Lu, Guangzheng Xu et al.
Recent studies have demonstrated the efficacy of integrating Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) into flow matching models, particularly for text-to-image and text-to-video generation. However, we find that directly applying these techniques to image-to-video (I2V) models often fails to yield consistent reward improvements. To address this limitation, we present TAGRPO, a robust post-training framework for I2V models inspired by contrastive learning. Our approach is grounded in the observation that rollout videos generated from identical initial noise provide superior guidance for optimization. Leveraging this insight, we propose a novel GRPO loss applied to intermediate latents, encouraging direct alignment with high-reward trajectories while maximizing distance from low-reward counterparts. Furthermore, we introduce a memory bank for rollout videos to enhance diversity and reduce computational overhead. Despite its simplicity, TAGRPO achieves significant improvements over DanceGRPO in I2V generation.

Why Attend to Everything? Focus is the KeyHengshuai Yao, Xing Chen, Ahmed Murtadha et al.
We introduce Focus, a method that learns which token pairs matter rather than approximating all of them. Learnable centroids assign tokens to groups; distant attention is restricted to same-group pairs while local attention operates at full resolution. Because all model weights stay frozen, Focus is purely additive: centroid-only training (as few as 148K parameters) improves domain perplexity with zero degradation on downstream benchmarks--from 124M to 70B parameters, across five attention architectures. No existing efficient attention method achieves this in the retrofit setting. At 124M, Focus surpasses full attention (30.3 vs 31.4 PPL); trained from scratch at 7B scale (2B tokens), Focus again beats full attention (13.82 vs 13.89 PPL). At inference, restricting each token to its top-k highest-scoring groups discretizes the soft routing into a hard sparsity pattern, yielding 2x speedup while beating the pretrained baseline (41.3 vs 42.8 PPL); decomposing this pattern into two standard FlashAttention calls reaches 8.6x wall-clock speedup at 1M tokens with no custom kernels. Unlike LoRA, centroid routing preserves alignment: instruction-tuned models retain TruthfulQA scores after adaptation, while LoRA degrades at every learning rate and rank. Sinkhorn normalization enforces balanced groups as a hard constraint, and the resulting groups discover interpretable linguistic categories without supervision.

Style4D-Bench: A Benchmark Suite for 4D StylizationBeiqi Chen, Shuai Shao, Haitang Feng et al.
We introduce Style4D-Bench, the first benchmark suite specifically designed for 4D stylization, with the goal of standardizing evaluation and facilitating progress in this emerging area. Style4D-Bench comprises: 1) a comprehensive evaluation protocol measuring spatial fidelity, temporal coherence, and multi-view consistency through both perceptual and quantitative metrics, 2) a strong baseline that make an initial attempt for 4D stylization, and 3) a curated collection of high-resolution dynamic 4D scenes with diverse motions and complex backgrounds. To establish a strong baseline, we present Style4D, a novel framework built upon 4D Gaussian Splatting. It consists of three key components: a basic 4DGS scene representation to capture reliable geometry, a Style Gaussian Representation that leverages lightweight per-Gaussian MLPs for temporally and spatially aware appearance control, and a Holistic Geometry-Preserved Style Transfer module designed to enhance spatio-temporal consistency via contrastive coherence learning and structural content preservation. Extensive experiments on Style4D-Bench demonstrate that Style4D achieves state-of-the-art performance in 4D stylization, producing fine-grained stylistic details with stable temporal dynamics and consistent multi-view rendering. ChatBridge: Bridging Modalities with Large Language Model as a Language CatalystZijia Zhao, Longteng Guo, Tongtian Yue et al.
Building general-purpose models that can perceive diverse real-world modalities and solve various tasks is an appealing target in artificial intelligence. In this paper, we present ChatBridge, a novel multimodal language model that leverages the expressive capabilities of language as the catalyst to bridge the gap between various modalities. We show that only language-paired two-modality data is sufficient to connect all modalities. ChatBridge leverages recent large language models (LLM) and extends their zero-shot capabilities to incorporate diverse multimodal inputs. ChatBridge undergoes a two-stage training. The first stage aligns each modality with language, which brings emergent multimodal correlation and collaboration abilities. The second stage instruction-finetunes ChatBridge to align it with user intent with our newly proposed multimodal instruction tuning dataset, named MULTIS, which covers a wide range of 16 multimodal tasks of text, image, video, and audio modalities. We show strong quantitative and qualitative results on zero-shot multimodal tasks covering text, image, video, and audio modalities. All codes, data, and models of ChatBridge will be open-sourced.

ConvBoost: Boosting ConvNets for Sensor-based Activity RecognitionShuai Shao, Yu Guan, Bing Zhai et al.
Human activity recognition (HAR) is one of the core research themes in ubiquitous and wearable computing. With the shift to deep learning (DL) based analysis approaches, it has become possible to extract high-level features and perform classification in an end-to-end manner. Despite their promising overall capabilities, DL-based HAR may suffer from overfitting due to the notoriously small, often inadequate, amounts of labeled sample data that are available for typical HAR applications. In response to such challenges, we propose ConvBoost -- a novel, three-layer, structured model architecture and boosting framework for convolutional network based HAR. Our framework generates additional training data from three different perspectives for improved HAR, aiming to alleviate the shortness of labeled training data in the field. Specifically, with the introduction of three conceptual layers--Sampling Layer, Data Augmentation Layer, and Resilient Layer -- we develop three "boosters" -- R-Frame, Mix-up, and C-Drop -- to enrich the per-epoch training data by dense-sampling, synthesizing, and simulating, respectively. These new conceptual layers and boosters, that are universally applicable for any kind of convolutional network, have been designed based on the characteristics of the sensor data and the concept of frame-wise HAR. In our experimental evaluation on three standard benchmarks (Opportunity, PAMAP2, GOTOV) we demonstrate the effectiveness of our ConvBoost framework for HAR applications based on variants of convolutional networks: vanilla CNN, ConvLSTM, and Attention Models. We achieved substantial performance gains for all of them, which suggests that the proposed approach is generic and can serve as a practical solution for boosting the performance of existing ConvNet-based HAR models. ReBA-Pred-Net: Weakly-Supervised Regional Brain Age Prediction on MRIShuai Shao, Yan Wang, Shu Jiang et al.
Brain age has become a prominent biomarker of brain health. Yet most prior work targets whole brain age (WBA), a coarse paradigm that struggles to support tasks such as disease characterization and research on development and aging patterns, because relevant changes are typically region-selective rather than brain-wide. Therefore, robust regional brain age (ReBA) estimation is critical, yet a widely generalizable model has yet to be established. In this paper, we propose the Regional Brain Age Prediction Network (ReBA-Pred-Net), a Teacher-Student framework designed for fine-grained brain age estimation. The Teacher produces soft ReBA to guide the Student to yield reliable ReBA estimates with a clinical-prior consistency constraint (regions within the same function should change similarly). For rigorous evaluation, we introduce two indirect metrics: Healthy Control Similarity (HCS), which assesses statistical consistency by testing whether regional brain-age-gap (ReBA minus chronological age) distributions align between training and unseen HC; and Neuro Disease Correlation (NDC), which assesses factual consistency by checking whether clinically confirmed patients show elevated brain-age-gap in disease-associated regions. Experiments across multiple backbones demonstrate the statistical and factual validity of our method.

MonoScale: Scaling Multi-Agent System with Monotonic ImprovementShuai Shao, Yixiang Liu, Bingwei Lu et al.
In recent years, LLM-based multi-agent systems (MAS) have advanced rapidly, using a router to decompose tasks and delegate subtasks to specialized agents. A natural way to expand capability is to scale up the agent pool by continually integrating new functional agents or tool interfaces, but naive expansion can trigger performance collapse when the router cold-starts on newly added, heterogeneous, and unreliable agents. We propose MonoScale, an expansion-aware update framework that proactively generates a small set of agent-conditioned familiarization tasks, harvests evidence from both successful and failed interactions, and distills it into auditable natural-language memory to guide future routing. We formalize sequential augmentation as a contextual bandit and perform trust-region memory updates, yielding a monotonic non-decreasing performance guarantee across onboarding rounds. Experiments on GAIA and Humanity's Last Exam show stable gains as the agent pool grows, outperforming naive scale-up and strong-router fixed-pool baselines.

Frontier AI Risk Management Framework in Practice: A Risk Analysis Technical Report v1.5Dongrui Liu, Yi Yu, Jie Zhang et al.
To understand and identify the unprecedented risks posed by rapidly advancing artificial intelligence (AI) models, Frontier AI Risk Management Framework in Practice presents a comprehensive assessment of their frontier risks. As Large Language Models (LLMs) general capabilities rapidly evolve and the proliferation of agentic AI, this version of the risk analysis technical report presents an updated and granular assessment of five critical dimensions: cyber offense, persuasion and manipulation, strategic deception, uncontrolled AI R\&D, and self-replication. Specifically, we introduce more complex scenarios for cyber offense. For persuasion and manipulation, we evaluate the risk of LLM-to-LLM persuasion on newly released LLMs. For strategic deception and scheming, we add the new experiment with respect to emergent misalignment. For uncontrolled AI R\&D, we focus on the ``mis-evolution'' of agents as they autonomously expand their memory substrates and toolsets. Besides, we also monitor and evaluate the safety performance of OpenClaw during the interaction on the Moltbook. For self-replication, we introduce a new resource-constrained scenario. More importantly, we propose and validate a series of robust mitigation strategies to address these emerging threats, providing a preliminary technical and actionable pathway for the secure deployment of frontier AI. This work reflects our current understanding of AI frontier risks and urges collective action to mitigate these challenges.

Rotate Your Character: Revisiting Video Diffusion Models for High-Quality 3D Character GenerationJin Wang, Jianxiang Lu, Comi Chen et al.
Generating high-quality 3D characters from single images remains a significant challenge in digital content creation, particularly due to complex body poses and self-occlusion. In this paper, we present RCM (Rotate your Character Model), an advanced image-to-video diffusion framework tailored for high-quality novel view synthesis (NVS) and 3D character generation. Compared to existing diffusion-based approaches, RCM offers several key advantages: (1) transferring characters with any complex poses into a canonical pose, enabling consistent novel view synthesis across the entire viewing orbit, (2) high-resolution orbital video generation at 1024x1024 resolution, (3) controllable observation positions given different initial camera poses, and (4) multi-view conditioning supporting up to 4 input images, accommodating diverse user scenarios. Extensive experiments demonstrate that RCM outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both novel view synthesis and 3D generation quality.

PreSight: Preoperative Outcome Prediction for Parkinson's Disease via Region-Prior Morphometry and Patient-Specific WeightingYand Wang, Chen Zhang, Lanyun Zhu et al.
Preoperative improvement rate prediction for Parkinson's disease surgery is clinically important yet difficult because imaging signals are subtle and patients are heterogeneous. We address this setting, where only information available before surgery is used, and the goal is to predict patient-specific postoperative motor benefit. We present PreSight, a presurgical outcome model that fuses clinical priors with preoperative MRI and deformation-based morphometry (DBM) and adapts regional importance through a patient-specific weighting module. The model produces end-to-end, calibrated, decision-ready predictions with patient-level explanations. We evaluate PreSight on a real-world two-center cohort of 400 subjects with multimodal presurgical inputs and postoperative improvement labels. PreSight outperforms strong clinical, imaging-only, and multimodal baselines. It attains 88.89% accuracy on internal validation and 85.29% on an external-center test for responder classification and shows better probability calibration and higher decision-curve net benefit. Ablations and analyses confirm the contribution of DBM and the patient-specific weighting module and indicate that the model emphasizes disease-relevant regions in a patient-specific manner. These results demonstrate that integrating clinical prior knowledge with region-adaptive morphometry enables reliable presurgical decision support in routine practice.

AgentNet: Decentralized Evolutionary Coordination for LLM-based Multi-Agent SystemsYingxuan Yang, Huacan Chai, Shuai Shao et al.
The rapid advancement of large language models (LLMs) has enabled the development of multi-agent systems where multiple LLM-based agents collaborate on complex tasks. However, existing systems often rely on centralized coordination, leading to scalability bottlenecks, reduced adaptability, and single points of failure. Privacy and proprietary knowledge concerns further hinder cross-organizational collaboration, resulting in siloed expertise. We propose AgentNet, a decentralized, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based framework that enables LLM-based agents to specialize, evolve, and collaborate autonomously in a dynamically structured Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). Unlike prior approaches with static roles or centralized control, AgentNet allows agents to adjust connectivity and route tasks based on local expertise and context. AgentNet introduces three key innovations: (1) a fully decentralized coordination mechanism that eliminates the need for a central orchestrator, enhancing robustness and emergent intelligence; (2) dynamic agent graph topology that adapts in real time to task demands, ensuring scalability and resilience; and (3) a retrieval-based memory system for agents that supports continual skill refinement and specialization. By minimizing centralized control and data exchange, AgentNet enables fault-tolerant, privacy-preserving collaboration across organizations. Experiments show that AgentNet achieves higher task accuracy than both single-agent and centralized multi-agent baselines.

AuditGPT: Auditing Smart Contracts with ChatGPTShihao Xia, Shuai Shao, Mengting He et al.
To govern smart contracts running on Ethereum, multiple Ethereum Request for Comment (ERC) standards have been developed, each containing a set of rules to guide the behaviors of smart contracts. Violating the ERC rules could cause serious security issues and financial loss, signifying the importance of verifying smart contracts follow ERCs. Today's practices of such verification are to either manually audit each single contract or use expert-developed, limited-scope program-analysis tools, both of which are far from being effective in identifying ERC rule violations. This paper presents a tool named AuditGPT that leverages large language models (LLMs) to automatically and comprehensively verify ERC rules against smart contracts. To build AuditGPT, we first conduct an empirical study on 222 ERC rules specified in four popular ERCs to understand their content, their security impacts, their specification in natural language, and their implementation in Solidity. Guided by the study, we construct AuditGPT by separating the large, complex auditing process into small, manageable tasks and design prompts specialized for each ERC rule type to enhance LLMs' auditing performance. In the evaluation, AuditGPT successfully pinpoints 418 ERC rule violations and only reports 18 false positives, showcasing its effectiveness and accuracy. Moreover, AuditGPT beats an auditing service provided by security experts in effectiveness, accuracy, and cost, demonstrating its advancement over state-of-the-art smart-contract auditing practices.

Hunyuan-GameCraft: High-dynamic Interactive Game Video Generation with Hybrid History ConditionJiaqi Li, Junshu Tang, Zhiyong Xu et al.
Recent advances in diffusion-based and controllable video generation have enabled high-quality and temporally coherent video synthesis, laying the groundwork for immersive interactive gaming experiences. However, current methods face limitations in dynamics, generality, long-term consistency, and efficiency, which limit the ability to create various gameplay videos. To address these gaps, we introduce Hunyuan-GameCraft, a novel framework for high-dynamic interactive video generation in game environments. To achieve fine-grained action control, we unify standard keyboard and mouse inputs into a shared camera representation space, facilitating smooth interpolation between various camera and movement operations. Then we propose a hybrid history-conditioned training strategy that extends video sequences autoregressively while preserving game scene information. Additionally, to enhance inference efficiency and playability, we achieve model distillation to reduce computational overhead while maintaining consistency across long temporal sequences, making it suitable for real-time deployment in complex interactive environments. The model is trained on a large-scale dataset comprising over one million gameplay recordings across over 100 AAA games, ensuring broad coverage and diversity, then fine-tuned on a carefully annotated synthetic dataset to enhance precision and control. The curated game scene data significantly improves the visual fidelity, realism and action controllability. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Hunyuan-GameCraft significantly outperforms existing models, advancing the realism and playability of interactive game video generation.

Sequential dense retrieval models utilize advanced sequence learning techniques to compute item and user representations, which are then used to rank relevant items for a user through inner product computation between the user and all item representations. However, this approach requires storing a unique representation for each item, resulting in significant memory requirements as the number of items grow. In contrast, the recently proposed generative retrieval paradigm offers a promising alternative by directly predicting item indices using a generative model trained on semantic IDs that encapsulate items' semantic information. Despite its potential for large-scale applications, a comprehensive comparison between generative retrieval and sequential dense retrieval under fair conditions is still lacking, leaving open questions regarding performance, and computation trade-offs. To address this, we compare these two approaches under controlled conditions on academic benchmarks and propose LIGER (LeveragIng dense retrieval for GEnerative Retrieval), a hybrid model that combines the strengths of these two widely used methods. LIGER integrates sequential dense retrieval into generative retrieval, mitigating performance differences and enhancing cold-start item recommendation in the datasets evaluated. This hybrid approach provides insights into the trade-offs between these approaches and demonstrates improvements in efficiency and effectiveness for recommendation systems in small-scale benchmarks.

Zero-Freeness of the Hard-Core Model with Bounded Connective ConstantYuan Chen, Shuai Shao, Ke Shi
We study the zero-free regions of the partition function of the hard-core model on finite graphs and their implications for the analyticity of the free energy on infinite lattices. Classically, zero-freeness results have been established up to the tree uniqueness threshold $λ_c(Î-1)$ determined by the maximum degree $Î$. However, for many graph classes, such as regular lattices, the connective constant $Ï$ provides a more precise measure of structural complexity than the maximum degree. While recent approximation algorithms based on correlation decay and Markov chain Monte Carlo have successfully exploited the connective constant to improve the threshold to $λ_c(Ï)$, analogous results for complex zero-freeness have been lacking. In this paper, we bridge this gap by introducing a proper definition of the connective constant for finite graphs based on a lower bound on the number of $k$-depth self-avoiding walks. We prove that for any graph family with a lower connective constant $μ$, the partition function is zero-free in a complex neighborhood of the interval $[0, λ]$ for all $λ< λ_c(μ)$. As a direct consequence, we establish the uniqueness and analyticity of the free energy density for infinite lattices up to the connective constant threshold, extending the known regions derived from maximum degree bounds. Our proof utilizes a block contraction technique that lifts the correlation decay property from a real interval to a strip-like complex neighborhood.

RiOSWorld: Benchmarking the Risk of Multimodal Computer-Use AgentsJingyi Yang, Shuai Shao, Dongrui Liu et al.
With the rapid development of multimodal large language models (MLLMs), they are increasingly deployed as autonomous computer-use agents capable of accomplishing complex computer tasks. However, a pressing issue arises: Can the safety risk principles designed and aligned for general MLLMs in dialogue scenarios be effectively transferred to real-world computer-use scenarios? Existing research on evaluating the safety risks of MLLM-based computer-use agents suffers from several limitations: it either lacks realistic interactive environments, or narrowly focuses on one or a few specific risk types. These limitations ignore the complexity, variability, and diversity of real-world environments, thereby restricting comprehensive risk evaluation for computer-use agents. To this end, we introduce \textbf{RiOSWorld}, a benchmark designed to evaluate the potential risks of MLLM-based agents during real-world computer manipulations. Our benchmark includes 492 risky tasks spanning various computer applications, involving web, social media, multimedia, os, email, and office software. We categorize these risks into two major classes based on their risk source: (i) User-originated risks and (ii) Environmental risks. For the evaluation, we evaluate safety risks from two perspectives: (i) Risk goal intention and (ii) Risk goal completion. Extensive experiments with multimodal agents on \textbf{RiOSWorld} demonstrate that current computer-use agents confront significant safety risks in real-world scenarios. Our findings highlight the necessity and urgency of safety alignment for computer-use agents in real-world computer manipulation, providing valuable insights for developing trustworthy computer-use agents. Intelligent game creation represents a transformative advancement in game development, utilizing generative artificial intelligence to dynamically generate and enhance game content. Despite notable progress in generative models, the comprehensive synthesis of high-quality game assets, including both images and videos, remains a challenging frontier. To create high-fidelity game content that simultaneously aligns with player preferences and significantly boosts designer efficiency, we present Hunyuan-Game, an innovative project designed to revolutionize intelligent game production. Hunyuan-Game encompasses two primary branches: image generation and video generation. The image generation component is built upon a vast dataset comprising billions of game images, leading to the development of a group of customized image generation models tailored for game scenarios: (1) General Text-to-Image Generation. (2) Game Visual Effects Generation, involving text-to-effect and reference image-based game visual effect generation. (3) Transparent Image Generation for characters, scenes, and game visual effects. (4) Game Character Generation based on sketches, black-and-white images, and white models. The video generation component is built upon a comprehensive dataset of millions of game and anime videos, leading to the development of five core algorithmic models, each targeting critical pain points in game development and having robust adaptation to diverse game video scenarios: (1) Image-to-Video Generation. (2) 360 A/T Pose Avatar Video Synthesis. (3) Dynamic Illustration Generation. (4) Generative Video Super-Resolution. (5) Interactive Game Video Generation. These image and video generation models not only exhibit high-level aesthetic expression but also deeply integrate domain-specific knowledge, establishing a systematic understanding of diverse game and anime art styles.

Beyond Isolated Frames: Enhancing Sensor-Based Human Activity Recognition through Intra- and Inter-Frame AttentionShuai Shao, Yu Guan, Victor Sanchez
Human Activity Recognition (HAR) has become increasingly popular with ubiquitous computing, driven by the popularity of wearable sensors in fields like healthcare and sports. While Convolutional Neural Networks (ConvNets) have significantly contributed to HAR, they often adopt a frame-by-frame analysis, concentrating on individual frames and potentially overlooking the broader temporal dynamics inherent in human activities. To address this, we propose the intra- and inter-frame attention model. This model captures both the nuances within individual frames and the broader contextual relationships across multiple frames, offering a comprehensive perspective on sequential data. We further enrich the temporal understanding by proposing a novel time-sequential batch learning strategy. This learning strategy preserves the chronological sequence of time-series data within each batch, ensuring the continuity and integrity of temporal patterns in sensor-based HAR.

OmniCamera: A Unified Framework for Multi-task Video Generation with Arbitrary Camera ControlYukun Wang, Ruihuang Li, Jiale Tao et al.
Video fundamentally intertwines two crucial axes: the dynamic content of a scene and the camera motion through which it is observed. However, existing generation models often entangle these factors, limiting independent control. In this work, we introduce OmniCamera, a unified framework designed to explicitly disentangle and command these two dimensions. This compositional approach enables flexible video generation by allowing arbitrary pairings of camera and content conditions, unlocking unprecedented creative control. To overcome the fundamental challenges of modality conflict and data scarcity inherent in such a system, we present two key innovations. First, we construct OmniCAM, a novel hybrid dataset combining curated real-world videos with synthetic data that provides diverse paired examples for robust multi-task learning. Second, we propose a Dual-level Curriculum Co-Training strategy that mitigates modality interference and synergistically learns from diverse data sources. This strategy operates on two levels: first, it progressively introduces control modalities by difficulties (condition-level), and second, trains for precise control on synthetic data before adapting to real data for photorealism (data-level). As a result, OmniCamera achieves state-of-the-art performance, enabling flexible control for complex camera movements while maintaining superior visual quality.

Agentization of Digital Assets for the Agentic Web: Concepts, Techniques, and BenchmarkLinyao Chen, Bo Huang, Qinlao Zhao et al.
Agentic Web, as a new paradigm that redefines the internet through autonomous, goal-driven interactions, plays an important role in group intelligence. As the foundational semantic primitives of the Agentic Web, digital assets encapsulate interactive web elements into agents, which expand the capacities and coverage of agents in agentic web. The lack of automated methodologies for agent generation limits the wider usage of digital assets and the advancement of the Agentic Web. In this paper, we first formalize these challenges by strictly defining the A2A-Agentization process, decomposing it into critical stages and identifying key technical hurdles on top of the A2A protocol. Based on this framework, we develop an Agentization Agent to agentize digital assets for the Agentic Web. To rigorously evaluate this capability, we propose A2A-Agentization Bench, the first benchmark explicitly designed to evaluate agentization quality in terms of fidelity and interoperability. Our experiments demonstrate that our approach effectively activates the functional capabilities of digital assets and enables interoperable A2A multi-agent collaboration. We believe this work will further facilitate scalable and standardized integration of digital assets into the Agentic Web ecosystem.

MARS2 2025 Challenge on Multimodal Reasoning: Datasets, Methods, Results, Discussion, and OutlookPeng Xu, Shengwu Xiong, Jiajun Zhang et al.
This paper reviews the MARS2 2025 Challenge on Multimodal Reasoning. We aim to bring together different approaches in multimodal machine learning and LLMs via a large benchmark. We hope it better allows researchers to follow the state-of-the-art in this very dynamic area. Meanwhile, a growing number of testbeds have boosted the evolution of general-purpose large language models. Thus, this year's MARS2 focuses on real-world and specialized scenarios to broaden the multimodal reasoning applications of MLLMs. Our organizing team released two tailored datasets Lens and AdsQA as test sets, which support general reasoning in 12 daily scenarios and domain-specific reasoning in advertisement videos, respectively. We evaluated 40+ baselines that include both generalist MLLMs and task-specific models, and opened up three competition tracks, i.e., Visual Grounding in Real-world Scenarios (VG-RS), Visual Question Answering with Spatial Awareness (VQA-SA), and Visual Reasoning in Creative Advertisement Videos (VR-Ads). Finally, 76 teams from the renowned academic and industrial institutions have registered and 40+ valid submissions (out of 1200+) have been included in our ranking lists. Our datasets, code sets (40+ baselines and 15+ participants' methods), and rankings are publicly available on the MARS2 workshop website and our GitHub organization page https://github.com/mars2workshop/, where our updates and announcements of upcoming events will be continuously provided.

SymGPT: Auditing Smart Contracts via Combining Symbolic Execution with Large Language ModelsShihao Xia, Mengting He, Shuai Shao et al.
To govern smart contracts running on Ethereum, multiple Ethereum Request for Comment (ERC) standards have been developed, each having a set of rules to guide the behaviors of smart contracts. Violating the ERC rules could cause serious security issues and financial loss, signifying the importance of verifying smart contracts follow ERCs. Today's practices of such verification are to manually audit each single contract, use expert-developed program-analysis tools, or use large language models (LLMs), all of which are far from effective in identifying ERC rule violations. This paper introduces SymGPT, a tool that combines the natural language understanding of large language models (LLMs) with the formal guarantees of symbolic execution to automatically verify smart contracts' compliance with ERC rules. To develop SymGPT, we conduct an empirical study of 132 ERC rules from three widely used ERC standards, examining their content, security implications, and natural language descriptions. Based on this study, we design SymGPT by first instructing an LLM to translate ERC rules into a defined EBNF grammar. We then synthesize constraints from the formalized rules to represent scenarios where violations may occur and use symbolic execution to detect them. Our evaluation shows that SymGPT identifies 5,783 ERC rule violations in 4,000 real-world contracts, including 1,375 violations with clear attack paths for stealing financial assets, demonstrating its effectiveness. Furthermore, SymGPT outperforms six automated techniques and a security-expert auditing service, underscoring its superiority over current smart contract analysis methods.

Hunyuan-GameCraft-2: Instruction-following Interactive Game World ModelJunshu Tang, Jiacheng Liu, Jiaqi Li et al.
Recent advances in generative world models have enabled remarkable progress in creating open-ended game environments, evolving from static scene synthesis toward dynamic, interactive simulation. However, current approaches remain limited by rigid action schemas and high annotation costs, restricting their ability to model diverse in-game interactions and player-driven dynamics. To address these challenges, we introduce Hunyuan-GameCraft-2, a new paradigm of instruction-driven interaction for generative game world modeling. Instead of relying on fixed keyboard inputs, our model allows users to control game video contents through natural language prompts, keyboard, or mouse signals, enabling flexible and semantically rich interaction within generated worlds. We formally defined the concept of interactive video data and developed an automated process to transform large-scale, unstructured text-video pairs into causally aligned interactive datasets. Built upon a 14B image-to-video Mixture-of-Experts(MoE) foundation model, our model incorporates a text-driven interaction injection mechanism for fine-grained control over camera motion, character behavior, and environment dynamics. We introduce an interaction-focused benchmark, InterBench, to evaluate interaction performance comprehensively. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model generates temporally coherent and causally grounded interactive game videos that faithfully respond to diverse and free-form user instructions such as "open the door", "draw a torch", or "trigger an explosion".
