Any to Full: Prompting Depth Anything for Depth Completion in One Stage

Zhiyuan Zhou, Ruofeng Liu, Taichi Liu et al.

Accurate, dense depth estimation is crucial for robotic perception, but commodity sensors often yield sparse or incomplete measurements due to hardware limitations. Existing RGBD-fused depth completion methods learn priors jointly conditioned on training RGB distribution and specific depth patterns, limiting domain generalization and robustness to various depth patterns. Recent efforts leverage monocular depth estimation (MDE) models to introduce domain-general geometric priors, but current two-stage integration strategies relying on explicit relative-to-metric alignment incur additional computation and introduce structured distortions. To this end, we present Any2Full, a one-stage, domain-general, and pattern-agnostic framework that reformulates completion as a scale-prompting adaptation of a pretrained MDE model. To address varying depth sparsity levels and irregular spatial distributions, we design a Scale-Aware Prompt Encoder. It distills scale cues from sparse inputs into unified scale prompts, guiding the MDE model toward globally scale-consistent predictions while preserving its geometric priors. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Any2Full achieves superior robustness and efficiency. It outperforms OMNI-DC by 32.2\% in average AbsREL and delivers a 1.4$\times$ speedup over PriorDA with the same MDE backbone, establishing a new paradigm for universal depth completion. PARD-2: Target-Aligned Parallel Draft Model for Dual-Mode Speculative Decoding

Zihao An, Taichi Liu, Ziqiong Liu et al.

Speculative decoding accelerates Large Language Models (LLMs) inference by using a lightweight draft model to propose candidate tokens that are verified in parallel by the target model. However, existing draft model training objectives are not directly aligned with the inference-time goal of maximizing consecutive token acceptance. To address this issue, we reformulate the draft model optimization objective, shifting the focus from token prediction accuracy to the overall acceptance length. In this paper, we build upon PARD to propose PARD-2, a dual-mode speculative decoding framework with Confidence-Adaptive Token (CAT) optimization. This approach adaptively reweights each token to better align with the verification process. Notably, PARD-2 enables a single draft model to support both target-dependent and target-independent modes. Experiments across diverse models and tasks demonstrate that PARD-2 achieves up to 6.94$\times$ lossless acceleration, surpassing EAGLE-3 by 1.9$\times$ and PARD by 1.3$\times$ on Llama3.1-8B. Our code is available at https://github.com/AMD-AGI/PARD.

MobiDiff: Semantic-Aware Multi-Channel Discrete Diffusion for Human Mobility Data Generation

Rongchao Xu, Lin Jiang, Dahai Yu et al.

Human mobility data are essential for transportation optimization, urban planning, and resource allocation, yet real-world mobility data are costly to collect and difficult to share due to privacy concerns. Recent diffusion-based methods have shown promise in synthesizing realistic mobility patterns, but they typically rely on continuous or latent spatio-temporal traces, limiting their ability to natively model discrete semantic events with explicit region, activity, time, and interval structures. To address this issue, we introduce MobiDiff, an end-to-end discrete diffusion framework that efficiently generates mobility data by directly denoising multi-channel semantic skeletons, avoiding the costly interpolation, latent trace construction, and coarse-to-fine realization pipelines widely used in existing diffusion-based methods. Specifically, MobiDiff decomposes each human check-in event into spatial, activity, and temporal channels, and employs structured event-, group-, and channel-level masking to jointly capture trajectory-level mobility patterns and within-event dependencies. We evaluate generation fidelity, privacy-preserving, and efficiency on three large-scale real-world datasets from Atlanta, Boston, and Seattle. Results show that MobiDiff effectively preserves trajectory length and temporal interval distributions while remaining competitive across broader mobility statistics; it is also much faster than state-of-the-art methods, e.g., 5.3$\times$ faster than GeoGen on average during inference. These findings suggest that discrete diffusion offers an interpretable and efficient framework for synthetic mobility data generation.

OV-Uni3DETR: Towards Unified Open-Vocabulary 3D Object Detection via Cycle-Modality Propagation

Zhenyu Wang, Yali Li, Taichi Liu et al.

In the current state of 3D object detection research, the severe scarcity of annotated 3D data, substantial disparities across different data modalities, and the absence of a unified architecture, have impeded the progress towards the goal of universality. In this paper, we propose \textbf{OV-Uni3DETR}, a unified open-vocabulary 3D detector via cycle-modality propagation. Compared with existing 3D detectors, OV-Uni3DETR offers distinct advantages: 1) Open-vocabulary 3D detection: During training, it leverages various accessible data, especially extensive 2D detection images, to boost training diversity. During inference, it can detect both seen and unseen classes. 2) Modality unifying: It seamlessly accommodates input data from any given modality, effectively addressing scenarios involving disparate modalities or missing sensor information, thereby supporting test-time modality switching. 3) Scene unifying: It provides a unified multi-modal model architecture for diverse scenes collected by distinct sensors. Specifically, we propose the cycle-modality propagation, aimed at propagating knowledge bridging 2D and 3D modalities, to support the aforementioned functionalities. 2D semantic knowledge from large-vocabulary learning guides novel class discovery in the 3D domain, and 3D geometric knowledge provides localization supervision for 2D detection images. OV-Uni3DETR achieves the state-of-the-art performance on various scenarios, surpassing existing methods by more than 6\% on average. Its performance using only RGB images is on par with or even surpasses that of previous point cloud based methods. Code and pre-trained models will be released later.

Towards 3D Objectness Learning in an Open World

Taichi Liu, Zhenyu Wang, Ruofeng Liu et al.

Recent advancements in 3D object detection and novel category detection have made significant progress, yet research on learning generalized 3D objectness remains insufficient. In this paper, we delve into learning open-world 3D objectness, which focuses on detecting all objects in a 3D scene, including novel objects unseen during training. Traditional closed-set 3D detectors struggle to generalize to open-world scenarios, while directly incorporating 3D open-vocabulary models for open-world ability struggles with vocabulary expansion and semantic overlap. To achieve generalized 3D object discovery, We propose OP3Det, a class-agnostic Open-World Prompt-free 3D Detector to detect any objects within 3D scenes without relying on hand-crafted text prompts. We introduce the strong generalization and zero-shot capabilities of 2D foundation models, utilizing both 2D semantic priors and 3D geometric priors for class-agnostic proposals to broaden 3D object discovery. Then, by integrating complementary information from point cloud and RGB image in the cross-modal mixture of experts, OP3Det dynamically routes uni-modal and multi-modal features to learn generalized 3D objectness. Extensive experiments demonstrate the extraordinary performance of OP3Det, which significantly surpasses existing open-world 3D detectors by up to 16.0% in AR and achieves a 13.5% improvement compared to closed-world 3D detectors.
