SKIP: Sparse Keyframe Interpolation Paradigm for Efficient Embodied World Models

Embodied world models have emerged as a promising paradigm in robotics by predicting how robot actions affect the surrounding scene. However, the rollout inference remains computationally expensive in pixel space, as long-horizon manipulation videos typically have to be generated frame by frame. This cost cannot be easily reduced by indiscriminately dropping frames, since downstream policies rely on complete preservation of sparse task-relevant events such as approach, contact, grasp, and release. To address this challenge, we propose Sparse Keyframe Interpolation Paradigm (SKIP), an event-preserving sparse-to-dense framework that avoids dense frame-by-frame generation. SKIP first identifies task-relevant keyframes by leveraging robot-aware multimodal features. It then synthesizes only these keyframes with a sparse video diffusion model. A learned gap predictor and an action-conditioned interpolator subsequently reconstruct the missing intervals according to the robot actions. On LIBERO, SKIP generates dense rollouts $4.16\times$ faster than a dense baseline while improving visual fidelity and reducing aggregate FVD by $89.0\%$. Importantly, SKIP-generated videos are effective policy-training data. Even when they fully replace real demonstrations, $π_{0.5}$ success drops only $1.3$ pp in LIBERO simulation and $6.7$ pp on the real robot, whereas fully dense frame-by-frame generation collapses by $48$ to $58$ pp.

Xiaomi EV World Model: A Joint World Model Integrating Reconstruction and Generation for Autonomous Driving

This report presents a unified technical system addressing the two core capabilities of world models for autonomous driving: world representation and world generation. For world representation, we propose WorldRec, a feed-forward reconstruction architecture driven by sparse scene queries. WorldRec initializes structured queries in 3D space, leveraging them to aggregate cross-view, cross-temporal features, thereby naturally enforcing spatial consistency across frames and yielding compact yet high-fidelity 3D Gaussian scene representations. For world generation, we propose WorldGen, a two-stage training framework of bidirectional pretraining followed by causal fine-tuning through three progressive stages (Teacher Forcing, ODE distillation, and DMD), enabling high-quality online causal video generation in as few as 4 denoising steps. Building on both modules, we further introduce the JWM, which deeply integrates WorldRec and WorldGen to achieve synergistic gains in generation stability, cross-frame consistency, and visual fidelity, providing a solid foundation for closed-loop simulation, data synthesis, and end-to-end training in autonomous driving.

Toward Physically Consistent Driving Video World Models under Challenging Trajectories

Video generation models have shown strong potential as world models for autonomous driving simulation. However, existing approaches are primarily trained on real-world driving datasets, which mostly contain natural and safe driving scenarios. As a result, current models often fail when conditioned on challenging or counterfactual trajectories-such as imperfect trajectories generated by simulators or planning systems-producing videos with severe physical inconsistencies and artifacts. To address this limitation, we propose PhyGenesis, a world model designed to generate driving videos with high visual fidelity and strong physical consistency. Our framework consists of two key components: (1) a physical condition generator that transforms potentially invalid trajectory inputs into physically plausible conditions, and (2) a physics-enhanced video generator that produces high-fidelity multi-view driving videos under these conditions. To effectively train these components, we construct a large-scale, physics-rich heterogeneous dataset. Specifically, in addition to real-world driving videos, we generate diverse challenging driving scenarios using the CARLA simulator, from which we derive supervision signals that guide the model to learn physically grounded dynamics under extreme conditions. This challenging-trajectory learning strategy enables trajectory correction and promotes physically consistent video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PhyGenesis consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods, especially on challenging trajectories. Rethinking Driving World Model as Synthetic Data Generator for Perception Tasks

Recent advancements in driving world models enable controllable generation of high-quality RGB videos or multimodal videos. Existing methods primarily focus on metrics related to generation quality and controllability. However, they often overlook the evaluation of downstream perception tasks, which are $\mathbf{really\ crucial}$ for the performance of autonomous driving. Existing methods usually leverage a training strategy that first pretrains on synthetic data and finetunes on real data, resulting in twice the epochs compared to the baseline (real data only). When we double the epochs in the baseline, the benefit of synthetic data becomes negligible. To thoroughly demonstrate the benefit of synthetic data, we introduce Dream4Drive, a novel synthetic data generation framework designed for enhancing the downstream perception tasks. Dream4Drive first decomposes the input video into several 3D-aware guidance maps and subsequently renders the 3D assets onto these guidance maps. Finally, the driving world model is fine-tuned to produce the edited, multi-view photorealistic videos, which can be used to train the downstream perception models. Dream4Drive enables unprecedented flexibility in generating multi-view corner cases at scale, significantly boosting corner case perception in autonomous driving. To facilitate future research, we also contribute a large-scale 3D asset dataset named DriveObj3D, covering the typical categories in driving scenarios and enabling diverse 3D-aware video editing. We conduct comprehensive experiments to show that Dream4Drive can effectively boost the performance of downstream perception models under various training epochs. Genesis: Multimodal Driving Scene Generation with Spatio-Temporal and Cross-Modal Consistency

We present Genesis, a unified framework for joint generation of multi-view driving videos and LiDAR sequences with spatio-temporal and cross-modal consistency. Genesis employs a two-stage architecture that integrates a DiT-based video diffusion model with 3D-VAE encoding, and a BEV-aware LiDAR generator with NeRF-based rendering and adaptive sampling. Both modalities are directly coupled through a shared latent space, enabling coherent evolution across visual and geometric domains. To guide the generation with structured semantics, we introduce DataCrafter, a captioning module built on vision-language models that provides scene-level and instance-level supervision. Extensive experiments on the nuScenes benchmark demonstrate that Genesis achieves state-of-the-art performance across video and LiDAR metrics (FVD 16.95, FID 4.24, Chamfer 0.611), and benefits downstream tasks including segmentation and 3D detection, validating the semantic fidelity and practical utility of the generated data.

WorldSplat: Gaussian-Centric Feed-Forward 4D Scene Generation for Autonomous Driving

Recent advances in driving-scene generation and reconstruction have demonstrated significant potential for enhancing autonomous driving systems by producing scalable and controllable training data. Existing generation methods primarily focus on synthesizing diverse and high-fidelity driving videos; however, due to limited 3D consistency and sparse viewpoint coverage, they struggle to support convenient and high-quality novel-view synthesis (NVS). Conversely, recent 3D/4D reconstruction approaches have significantly improved NVS for real-world driving scenes, yet inherently lack generative capabilities. To overcome this dilemma between scene generation and reconstruction, we propose WorldSplat, a novel feed-forward framework for 4D driving-scene generation. Our approach effectively generates consistent multi-track videos through two key steps: (i) We introduce a 4D-aware latent diffusion model integrating multi-modal information to produce pixel-aligned 4D Gaussians in a feed-forward manner. (ii) Subsequently, we refine the novel view videos rendered from these Gaussians using a enhanced video diffusion model. Extensive experiments conducted on benchmark datasets demonstrate that WorldSplat effectively generates high-fidelity, temporally and spatially consistent multi-track novel view driving videos. DriveMRP: Enhancing Vision-Language Models with Synthetic Motion Data for Motion Risk Prediction

Autonomous driving has seen significant progress, driven by extensive real-world data. However, in long-tail scenarios, accurately predicting the safety of the ego vehicle's future motion remains a major challenge due to uncertainties in dynamic environments and limitations in data coverage. In this work, we aim to explore whether it is possible to enhance the motion risk prediction capabilities of Vision-Language Models (VLM) by synthesizing high-risk motion data. Specifically, we introduce a Bird's-Eye View (BEV) based motion simulation method to model risks from three aspects: the ego-vehicle, other vehicles, and the environment. This allows us to synthesize plug-and-play, high-risk motion data suitable for VLM training, which we call DriveMRP-10K. Furthermore, we design a VLM-agnostic motion risk estimation framework, named DriveMRP-Agent. This framework incorporates a novel information injection strategy for global context, ego-vehicle perspective, and trajectory projection, enabling VLMs to effectively reason about the spatial relationships between motion waypoints and the environment. Extensive experiments demonstrate that by fine-tuning with DriveMRP-10K, our DriveMRP-Agent framework can significantly improve the motion risk prediction performance of multiple VLM baselines, with the accident recognition accuracy soaring from 27.13% to 88.03%. Moreover, when tested via zero-shot evaluation on an in-house real-world high-risk motion dataset, DriveMRP-Agent achieves a significant performance leap, boosting the accuracy from base_model's 29.42% to 68.50%, which showcases the strong generalization capabilities of our method in real-world scenarios.
