Deep Learning for Depression Recognition with Audiovisual Cues: A ReviewLang He, Mingyue Niu, Prayag Tiwari et al.
With the acceleration of the pace of work and life, people have to face more and more pressure, which increases the possibility of suffering from depression. However, many patients may fail to get a timely diagnosis due to the serious imbalance in the doctor-patient ratio in the world. Promisingly, physiological and psychological studies have indicated some differences in speech and facial expression between patients with depression and healthy individuals. Consequently, to improve current medical care, many scholars have used deep learning to extract a representation of depression cues in audio and video for automatic depression detection. To sort out and summarize these works, this review introduces the databases and describes objective markers for automatic depression estimation (ADE). Furthermore, we review the deep learning methods for automatic depression detection to extract the representation of depression from audio and video. Finally, this paper discusses challenges and promising directions related to automatic diagnosing of depression using deep learning technologies.
The Graph-Based Behavior-Aware Recommendation for Interactive NewsMingyuan Ma, Sen Na, Hongyu Wang et al.
Interactive news recommendation has been launched and attracted much attention recently. In this scenario, user's behavior evolves from single click behavior to multiple behaviors including like, comment, share etc. However, most of the existing methods still use single click behavior as the unique criterion of judging user's preferences. Further, although heterogeneous graphs have been applied in different areas, a proper way to construct a heterogeneous graph for interactive news data with an appropriate learning mechanism on it is still desired. To address the above concerns, we propose a graph-based behavior-aware network, which simultaneously considers six different types of behaviors as well as user's demand on the news diversity. We have three main steps. First, we build an interaction behavior graph for multi-level and multi-category data. Second, we apply DeepWalk on the behavior graph to obtain entity semantics, then build a graph-based convolutional neural network called G-CNN to learn news representations, and an attention-based LSTM to learn behavior sequence representations. Third, we introduce core and coritivity features for the behavior graph, which measure the concentration degree of user's interests. These features affect the trade-off between accuracy and diversity of our personalized recommendation system. Taking these features into account, our system finally achieves recommending news to different users at their different levels of concentration degrees.

Graph Theory Towards New Graphical Passwords In Information NetworksBing Yao, Hui Sun, Hongyu Wang et al.
Graphical passwords (GPWs) have been studied over 20 years. We are motivated from QR codes that can be considered GPWs, are successfully applied in today's world. However, one need such GPWs that can be use conveniently and have higher level security in information networks. We aim to GPWs for mobile devices with touch screen. No more researching papers of GPWs by means of techniques of graph theory that are already used in a wide range of scientific areas, especially, dynamic networks. Our investigation is devoted to designing new type of graphical passwords by methods of graph theory, such as various topological structures and colorings (labellings). We develop the idea of "topological structure plus number theory" in maximal planar graphs, and provide new techniques for designing new type of GPWs, and furthermore we do theoretical analysis on these new type of GPWs.
