Hybrid-Domain Synergistic Transformer for Hyperspectral Image DenoisingHaoyue Li, Di Wu
Hyperspectral image denoising faces the challenge of multi-dimensional coupling of spatially non-uniform noise and spectral correlation interference. Existing deep learning methods mostly focus on RGB images and struggle to effectively handle the unique spatial-spectral characteristics and complex noise distributions of hyperspectral images (HSI). This paper proposes an HSI denoising framework, Hybrid-Domain Synergistic Transformer Network (HDST), based on frequency domain enhancement and multiscale modeling, achieving three-dimensional collaborative processing of spatial, frequency and channel domains. The method innovatively integrates three key mechanisms: (1) introducing an FFT preprocessing module with multi-band convolution to extract cross-band correlations and decouple spectral noise components; (2) designing a dynamic cross-domain attention module that adaptively fuses spatial domain texture features and frequency domain noise priors through a learnable gating mechanism; (3) building a hierarchical architecture where shallow layers capture global noise statistics using multiscale atrous convolution, and deep layers achieve detail recovery through frequency domain postprocessing. Experiments on both real and synthetic datasets demonstrate that HDST significantly improves denoising performance while maintaining computational efficiency, validating the effectiveness of the proposed method. This research provides new insights and a universal framework for addressing complex noise coupling issues in HSI and other high-dimensional visual data. Convolutional Neural Network Compression Based on Low-Rank DecompositionYaping He, Linhao Jiang, Di Wu
Deep neural networks typically impose significant computational loads and memory consumption. Moreover, the large parameters pose constraints on deploying the model on edge devices such as embedded systems. Tensor decomposition offers a clear advantage in compressing large-scale weight tensors. Nevertheless, direct utilization of low-rank decomposition typically leads to significant accuracy loss. This paper proposes a model compression method that integrates Variational Bayesian Matrix Factorization (VBMF) with orthogonal regularization. Initially, the model undergoes over-parameterization and training, with orthogonal regularization applied to enhance its likelihood of achieving the accuracy of the original model. Secondly, VBMF is employed to estimate the rank of the weight tensor at each layer. Our framework is sufficiently general to apply to other convolutional neural networks and easily adaptable to incorporate other tensor decomposition methods. Experimental results show that for both high and low compression ratios, our compression model exhibits advanced performance.

AI-Skin : Skin Disease Recognition based on Self-learning and Wide Data Collection through a Closed Loop FrameworkMin Chen, Ping Zhou, Di Wu et al.
There are a lot of hidden dangers in the change of human skin conditions, such as the sunburn caused by long-time exposure to ultraviolet radiation, which not only has aesthetic impact causing psychological depression and lack of self-confidence, but also may even be life-threatening due to skin canceration. Current skin disease researches adopt the auto-classification system for improving the accuracy rate of skin disease classification. However, the excessive dependence on the image sample database is unable to provide individualized diagnosis service for different population groups. To overcome this problem, a medical AI framework based on data width evolution and self-learning is put forward in this paper to provide skin disease medical service meeting the requirement of real time, extendibility and individualization. First, the wide collection of data in the close-loop information flow of user and remote medical data center is discussed. Next, a data set filter algorithm based on information entropy is given, to lighten the load of edge node and meanwhile improve the learning ability of remote cloud analysis model. In addition, the framework provides an external algorithm load module, which can be compatible with the application requirements according to the model selected. Three kinds of deep learning model, i.e. LeNet-5, AlexNet and VGG16, are loaded and compared, which have verified the universality of the algorithm load module. The experiment platform for the proposed real-time, individualized and extensible skin disease recognition system is built. And the system's computation and communication delay under the interaction scenario between tester and remote data center are analyzed. It is demonstrated that the system we put forward is reliable and effective.
