DuplexMamba: Enhancing Real-time Speech Conversations with Duplex and Streaming CapabilitiesXiangyu Lu, Wang Xu, Haoyu Wang et al.
Real-time speech conversation is essential for natural and efficient human-machine interactions, requiring duplex and streaming capabilities. Traditional Transformer-based conversational chatbots operate in a turn-based manner and exhibit quadratic computational complexity that grows as the input size increases. In this paper, we propose DuplexMamba, a Mamba-based end-to-end multimodal duplex model for speech-to-text conversation. DuplexMamba enables simultaneous input processing and output generation, dynamically adjusting to support real-time streaming. Specifically, we develop a Mamba-based speech encoder and adapt it with a Mamba-based language model. Furthermore, we introduce a novel duplex decoding strategy that enables DuplexMamba to process input and generate output simultaneously. Experimental results demonstrate that DuplexMamba successfully implements duplex and streaming capabilities while achieving performance comparable to several recently developed Transformer-based models in automatic speech recognition (ASR) tasks and voice assistant benchmark evaluations. Our code and model are released.
DetailFlow: 1D Coarse-to-Fine Autoregressive Image Generation via Next-Detail PredictionYiheng Liu, Liao Qu, Huichao Zhang et al.
This paper presents DetailFlow, a coarse-to-fine 1D autoregressive (AR) image generation method that models images through a novel next-detail prediction strategy. By learning a resolution-aware token sequence supervised with progressively degraded images, DetailFlow enables the generation process to start from the global structure and incrementally refine details. This coarse-to-fine 1D token sequence aligns well with the autoregressive inference mechanism, providing a more natural and efficient way for the AR model to generate complex visual content. Our compact 1D AR model achieves high-quality image synthesis with significantly fewer tokens than previous approaches, i.e. VAR/VQGAN. We further propose a parallel inference mechanism with self-correction that accelerates generation speed by approximately 8x while reducing accumulation sampling error inherent in teacher-forcing supervision. On the ImageNet 256x256 benchmark, our method achieves 2.96 gFID with 128 tokens, outperforming VAR (3.3 FID) and FlexVAR (3.05 FID), which both require 680 tokens in their AR models. Moreover, due to the significantly reduced token count and parallel inference mechanism, our method runs nearly 2x faster inference speed compared to VAR and FlexVAR. Extensive experimental results demonstrate DetailFlow's superior generation quality and efficiency compared to existing state-of-the-art methods.

SuperGS: Consistent and Detailed 3D Super-Resolution Scene Reconstruction via Gaussian SplattingShiyun Xie, Zhiru Wang, Yinghao Zhu et al.
Recently, 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has excelled in novel view synthesis (NVS) with its real-time rendering capabilities and superior quality. However, it encounters challenges for high-resolution novel view synthesis (HRNVS) due to the coarse nature of primitives derived from low-resolution input views. To address this issue, we propose SuperGS, an expansion of Scaffold-GS designed with a two-stage coarse-to-fine training framework. In the low-resolution stage, we introduce a latent feature field to represent the low-resolution scene, which serves as both the initialization and foundational information for super-resolution optimization. In the high-resolution stage, we propose a multi-view consistent densification strategy that backprojects high-resolution depth maps based on error maps and employs a multi-view voting mechanism, mitigating ambiguities caused by multi-view inconsistencies in the pseudo labels provided by 2D prior models while avoiding Gaussian redundancy. Furthermore, we model uncertainty through variational feature learning and use it to guide further scene representation refinement and adjust the supervisory effect of pseudo-labels, ensuring consistent and detailed scene reconstruction. Extensive experiments demonstrate that SuperGS outperforms state-of-the-art HRNVS methods on both forward-facing and 360-degree datasets.

High Sensitivity Snapshot Spectrometer Based on Deep Network UnmixingXiaoYu Chen, Xu Wang, Lianfa Bai et al.
In this paper, we present a convolution neural network based method to recover the light intensity distribution from the overlapped dispersive spectra instead of adding an extra light path to capture it directly for the first time. Then, we construct a single-path sub-Hadamard snapshot spectrometer based on our previous dual-path snapshot spectrometer. In the proposed single-path spectrometer, we use the reconstructed light intensity as the original light intensity and recover high signal-to-noise ratio spectra successfully. Compared with dual-path snapshot spectrometer, the network based single-path spectrometer has a more compact structure and maintains snapshot and high sensitivity. Abundant simulated and experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed method can obtain a better reconstructed signal-to-noise ratio spectrum than the dual-path sub-Hadamard spectrometer because of its higher light throughput.
