Grounding 3D Object Affordance from 2D Interactions in Images

Grounding 3D object affordance seeks to locate objects' ''action possibilities'' regions in the 3D space, which serves as a link between perception and operation for embodied agents. Existing studies primarily focus on connecting visual affordances with geometry structures, e.g. relying on annotations to declare interactive regions of interest on the object and establishing a mapping between the regions and affordances. However, the essence of learning object affordance is to understand how to use it, and the manner that detaches interactions is limited in generalization. Normally, humans possess the ability to perceive object affordances in the physical world through demonstration images or videos. Motivated by this, we introduce a novel task setting: grounding 3D object affordance from 2D interactions in images, which faces the challenge of anticipating affordance through interactions of different sources. To address this problem, we devise a novel Interaction-driven 3D Affordance Grounding Network (IAG), which aligns the region feature of objects from different sources and models the interactive contexts for 3D object affordance grounding. Besides, we collect a Point-Image Affordance Dataset (PIAD) to support the proposed task. Comprehensive experiments on PIAD demonstrate the reliability of the proposed task and the superiority of our method. The project is available at https://github.com/yyvhang/IAGNet.

TableGPT-R1: Advancing Tabular Reasoning Through Reinforcement Learning

Tabular data serves as the backbone of modern data analysis and scientific research. While Large Language Models (LLMs) fine-tuned via Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) have significantly improved natural language interaction with such structured data, they often fall short in handling the complex, multi-step reasoning and robust code execution required for real-world table tasks. Reinforcement Learning (RL) offers a promising avenue to enhance these capabilities, yet its application in the tabular domain faces three critical hurdles: the scarcity of high-quality agentic trajectories with closed-loop code execution and environment feedback on diverse table structures, the extreme heterogeneity of feedback signals ranging from rigid SQL execution to open-ended data interpretation, and the risk of catastrophic forgetting of general knowledge during vertical specialization. To overcome these challenges and unlock advanced reasoning on complex tables, we introduce \textbf{TableGPT-R1}, a specialized tabular model built on a systematic RL framework. Our approach integrates a comprehensive data engineering pipeline that synthesizes difficulty-stratified agentic trajectories for both supervised alignment and RL rollouts, a task-adaptive reward system that combines rule-based verification with a criteria-injected reward model and incorporates process-level step reward shaping with behavioral regularization, and a multi-stage training framework that progressively stabilizes reasoning before specializing in table-specific tasks. Extensive evaluations demonstrate that TableGPT-R1 achieves state-of-the-art performance on authoritative benchmarks, significantly outperforming baseline models while retaining robust general capabilities. Hierarchical Softmax for End-to-End Low-resource Multilingual Speech Recognition

Low-resource speech recognition has been long-suffering from insufficient training data. In this paper, we propose an approach that leverages neighboring languages to improve low-resource scenario performance, founded on the hypothesis that similar linguistic units in neighboring languages exhibit comparable term frequency distributions, which enables us to construct a Huffman tree for performing multilingual hierarchical Softmax decoding. This hierarchical structure enables cross-lingual knowledge sharing among similar tokens, thereby enhancing low-resource training outcomes. Empirical analyses demonstrate that our method is effective in improving the accuracy and efficiency of low-resource speech recognition.

Speech-text based multi-modal training with bidirectional attention for improved speech recognition

To let the state-of-the-art end-to-end ASR model enjoy data efficiency, as well as much more unpaired text data by multi-modal training, one needs to address two problems: 1) the synchronicity of feature sampling rates between speech and language (aka text data); 2) the homogeneity of the learned representations from two encoders. In this paper we propose to employ a novel bidirectional attention mechanism (BiAM) to jointly learn both ASR encoder (bottom layers) and text encoder with a multi-modal learning method. The BiAM is to facilitate feature sampling rate exchange, realizing the quality of the transformed features for the one kind to be measured in another space, with diversified objective functions. As a result, the speech representations are enriched with more linguistic information, while the representations generated by the text encoder are more similar to corresponding speech ones, and therefore the shared ASR models are more amenable for unpaired text data pretraining. To validate the efficacy of the proposed method, we perform two categories of experiments with or without extra unpaired text data. Experimental results on Librispeech corpus show it can achieve up to 6.15% word error rate reduction (WERR) with only paired data learning, while 9.23% WERR when more unpaired text data is employed.

Grounding 3D Scene Affordance From Egocentric Interactions

Grounding 3D scene affordance aims to locate interactive regions in 3D environments, which is crucial for embodied agents to interact intelligently with their surroundings. Most existing approaches achieve this by mapping semantics to 3D instances based on static geometric structure and visual appearance. This passive strategy limits the agent's ability to actively perceive and engage with the environment, making it reliant on predefined semantic instructions. In contrast, humans develop complex interaction skills by observing and imitating how others interact with their surroundings. To empower the model with such abilities, we introduce a novel task: grounding 3D scene affordance from egocentric interactions, where the goal is to identify the corresponding affordance regions in a 3D scene based on an egocentric video of an interaction. This task faces the challenges of spatial complexity and alignment complexity across multiple sources. To address these challenges, we propose the Egocentric Interaction-driven 3D Scene Affordance Grounding (Ego-SAG) framework, which utilizes interaction intent to guide the model in focusing on interaction-relevant sub-regions and aligns affordance features from different sources through a bidirectional query decoder mechanism. Furthermore, we introduce the Egocentric Video-3D Scene Affordance Dataset (VSAD), covering a wide range of common interaction types and diverse 3D environments to support this task. Extensive experiments on VSAD validate both the feasibility of the proposed task and the effectiveness of our approach.

End-to-End Spatial-Temporal Transformer for Real-time 4D HOI Reconstruction

Monocular 4D human-object interaction (HOI) reconstruction - recovering a moving human and a manipulated object from a single RGB video - remains challenging due to depth ambiguity and frequent occlusions. Existing methods often rely on multi-stage pipelines or iterative optimization, leading to high inference latency, failing to meet real-time requirements, and susceptibility to error accumulation. To address these limitations, we propose THO, an end-to-end Spatial-Temporal Transformer that predicts human motion and coordinated object motion in a forward fashion from the given video and 3D template. THO achieves this by leveraging spatial-temporal HOI tuple priors. Spatial priors exploit contact-region proximity to infer occluded object features from human cues, while temporal priors capture cross-frame kinematic correlations to refine object representations and enforce physical coherence. Extensive experiments demonstrate that THO operates at an inference speed of 31.5 FPS on a single RTX 4090 GPU, achieving a >600x speedup over prior optimization-based methods while simultaneously improving reconstruction accuracy and temporal consistency. BioMiner: A Multi-modal System for Automated Mining of Protein-Ligand Bioactivity Data from Literature

Protein-ligand bioactivity data published in the literature are essential for drug discovery, yet manual curation struggles to keep pace with rapidly growing literature. Automated bioactivity extraction remains challenging because it requires not only interpreting biochemical semantics distributed across text, tables, and figures, but also reconstructing chemically exact ligand structures (e.g., Markush structures). To address this bottleneck, we introduce BioMiner, a multi-modal extraction framework that explicitly separates bioactivity semantic interpretation from ligand structure construction. Within BioMiner, bioactivity semantics are inferred through direct reasoning, while chemical structures are resolved via a chemical-structure-grounded visual semantic reasoning paradigm, in which multi-modal large language models operate on chemically grounded visual representations to infer inter-structure relationships, and exact molecular construction is delegated to domain chemistry tools. For rigorous evaluation and method development, we further establish BioVista, a comprehensive benchmark comprising 16,457 bioactivity entries curated from 500 publications. BioMiner validates its extraction ability and provides a quantitative baseline, achieving an F1 score of 0.32 for bioactivity triplets. BioMiner's practical utility is demonstrated via three applications: (1) extracting 82,262 data from 11,683 papers to build a pre-training database that improves downstream models performance by 3.9%; (2) enabling a human-in-the-loop workflow that doubles the number of high-quality NLRP3 bioactivity data, helping 38.6% improvement over 28 QSAR models and identification of 16 hit candidates with novel scaffolds; and (3) accelerating protein-ligand complex bioactivity annotation, achieving a 5.59-fold speed increase and 5.75% accuracy improvement over manual workflows in PoseBusters dataset.

CeProAgents: A Hierarchical Agents System for Automated Chemical Process Development

The development of chemical processes, a cornerstone of chemical engineering, presents formidable challenges due to its multi-faceted nature, integrating specialized knowledge, conceptual design, and parametric simulation. Capitalizing on this, we propose CeProAgents, a hierarchical multi-agent system designed to automate the development of chemical process through collaborative division of labor. Our architecture comprises three specialized agent cohorts focused on knowledge, concept, and parameter respectively. To effectively adapt to the inherent complexity of chemical tasks, each cohort employs a novel hybrid architecture that integrates dynamic agent chatgroups with structured agentic workflows. To rigorously evaluate the system, we establish CeProBench, a multi-dimensional benchmark structured around three core pillars of chemical engineering. We design six distinct types of tasks across these dimensions to holistically assess the comprehensive capabilities of the system in chemical process development. The results not only confirm the effectiveness and superiority of our proposed approach but also reveal the transformative potential as well as the current boundaries of Large Language Models (LLMs) for industrial chemical engineering.

Hierarchical Multiscale Structure-Function Coupling for Brain Connectome Integration

Integrating structural and functional connectomes remains challenging because their relationship is non-linear and organized over nested modular hierarchies. We propose a hierarchical multiscale structure-function coupling framework for connectome integration that jointly learns individualized modular organization and hierarchical coupling across structural connectivity (SC) and functional connectivity (FC). The framework includes: (i) Prototype-based Modular Pooling (PMPool), which learns modality-specific multiscale communities by selecting prototypical ROIs and optimizing a differentiable modularity-inspired objective; (ii) an Attention-based Hierarchical Coupling Module (AHCM) that models both within-hierarchy and cross-hierarchy SC-FC interactions to produce enriched hierarchical coupling representations; and (iii) a Coupling-guided Clustering loss (CgC-Loss) that regularizes SC and FC community assignments with coupling signals, allowing cross-modal interactions to shape community alignment across hierarchies. We evaluate the model's performance across four cohorts for predicting brain age, cognitive score, and disease classification. Our model consistently outperforms baselines and other state-of-the-art approaches across three tasks. Ablation and sensitivity analyses verify the contributions of key components. Finally, the visualizations of learned coupling reveal interpretable differences, suggesting that the framework captures biologically meaningful structure-function relationships.

DisPose: Disentangling Pose Guidance for Controllable Human Image Animation

Controllable human image animation aims to generate videos from reference images using driving videos. Due to the limited control signals provided by sparse guidance (e.g., skeleton pose), recent works have attempted to introduce additional dense conditions (e.g., depth map) to ensure motion alignment. However, such strict dense guidance impairs the quality of the generated video when the body shape of the reference character differs significantly from that of the driving video. In this paper, we present DisPose to mine more generalizable and effective control signals without additional dense input, which disentangles the sparse skeleton pose in human image animation into motion field guidance and keypoint correspondence. Specifically, we generate a dense motion field from a sparse motion field and the reference image, which provides region-level dense guidance while maintaining the generalization of the sparse pose control. We also extract diffusion features corresponding to pose keypoints from the reference image, and then these point features are transferred to the target pose to provide distinct identity information. To seamlessly integrate into existing models, we propose a plug-and-play hybrid ControlNet that improves the quality and consistency of generated videos while freezing the existing model parameters. Extensive qualitative and quantitative experiments demonstrate the superiority of DisPose compared to current methods. ResCLIP: Residual Attention for Training-free Dense Vision-language Inference

While vision-language models like CLIP have shown remarkable success in open-vocabulary tasks, their application is currently confined to image-level tasks, and they still struggle with dense predictions. Recent works often attribute such deficiency in dense predictions to the self-attention layers in the final block, and have achieved commendable results by modifying the original query-key attention to self-correlation attention, (e.g., query-query and key-key attention). However, these methods overlook the cross-correlation attention (query-key) properties, which capture the rich spatial correspondence. In this paper, we reveal that the cross-correlation of the self-attention in CLIP's non-final layers also exhibits localization properties. Therefore, we propose the Residual Cross-correlation Self-attention (RCS) module, which leverages the cross-correlation self-attention from intermediate layers to remold the attention in the final block. The RCS module effectively reorganizes spatial information, unleashing the localization potential within CLIP for dense vision-language inference. Furthermore, to enhance the focus on regions of the same categories and local consistency, we propose the Semantic Feedback Refinement (SFR) module, which utilizes semantic segmentation maps to further adjust the attention scores. By integrating these two strategies, our method, termed ResCLIP, can be easily incorporated into existing approaches as a plug-and-play module, significantly boosting their performance in dense vision-language inference. Extensive experiments across multiple standard benchmarks demonstrate that our method surpasses state-of-the-art training-free methods, validating the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Kunlun: Establishing Scaling Laws for Massive-Scale Recommendation Systems through Unified Architecture Design

Deriving predictable scaling laws that govern the relationship between model performance and computational investment is crucial for designing and allocating resources in massive-scale recommendation systems. While such laws are established for large language models, they remain challenging for recommendation systems, especially those processing both user history and context features. We identify poor scaling efficiency as the main barrier to predictable power-law scaling, stemming from inefficient modules with low Model FLOPs Utilization (MFU) and suboptimal resource allocation. We introduce Kunlun, a scalable architecture that systematically improves model efficiency and resource allocation. Our low-level optimizations include Generalized Dot-Product Attention (GDPA), Hierarchical Seed Pooling (HSP), and Sliding Window Attention. Our high-level innovations feature Computation Skip (CompSkip) and Event-level Personalization. These advances increase MFU from 17% to 37% on NVIDIA B200 GPUs and double scaling efficiency over state-of-the-art methods. Kunlun is now deployed in major Meta Ads models, delivering significant production impact.

RealHiTBench: A Comprehensive Realistic Hierarchical Table Benchmark for Evaluating LLM-Based Table Analysis

With the rapid advancement of Large Language Models (LLMs), there is an increasing need for challenging benchmarks to evaluate their capabilities in handling complex tabular data. However, existing benchmarks are either based on outdated data setups or focus solely on simple, flat table structures. In this paper, we introduce RealHiTBench, a comprehensive benchmark designed to evaluate the performance of both LLMs and Multimodal LLMs (MLLMs) across a variety of input formats for complex tabular data, including LaTeX, HTML, and PNG. RealHiTBench also includes a diverse collection of tables with intricate structures, spanning a wide range of task types. Our experimental results, using 25 state-of-the-art LLMs, demonstrate that RealHiTBench is indeed a challenging benchmark. Moreover, we also develop TreeThinker, a tree-based pipeline that organizes hierarchical headers into a tree structure for enhanced tabular reasoning, validating the importance of improving LLMs' perception of table hierarchies. A Unified Hierarchical Multi-Task Multi-Fidelity Framework for Data-Efficient Surrogate Modeling in Manufacturing

Surrogate modeling is an essential data-driven technique for quantifying relationships between input variables and system responses in manufacturing and engineering systems. Two major challenges limit its effectiveness: (1) large data requirements for learning complex nonlinear relationships, and (2) heterogeneous data collected from sources with varying fidelity levels. Multi-task learning (MTL) addresses the first challenge by enabling information sharing across related processes, while multi-fidelity modeling addresses the second by accounting for fidelity-dependent uncertainty. However, existing approaches typically address these challenges separately, and no unified framework simultaneously leverages inter-task similarity and fidelity-dependent data characteristics. This paper develops a novel hierarchical multi-task multi-fidelity (H-MT-MF) framework for Gaussian process-based surrogate modeling. The proposed framework decomposes each task's response into a task-specific global trend and a residual local variability component that is jointly learned across tasks using a hierarchical Bayesian formulation. The framework accommodates an arbitrary number of tasks, design points, and fidelity levels while providing predictive uncertainty quantification. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method using a 1D synthetic example and a real-world engine surface shape prediction case study. Compared to (1) a state-of-the-art MTL model that does not account for fidelity information and (2) a stochastic kriging model that learns tasks independently, the proposed approach improves prediction accuracy by up to 19% and 23%, respectively. The H-MT-MF framework provides a general and extensible solution for surrogate modeling in manufacturing systems characterized by heterogeneous data sources.

From Frames to Sequences: Temporally Consistent Human-Centric Dense Prediction

In this work, we focus on the challenge of temporally consistent human-centric dense prediction across video sequences. Existing models achieve strong per-frame accuracy but often flicker under motion, occlusion, and lighting changes, and they rarely have paired human video supervision for multiple dense tasks. We address this gap with a scalable synthetic data pipeline that generates photorealistic human frames and motion-aligned sequences with pixel-accurate depth, normals, and masks. Unlike prior static data synthetic pipelines, our pipeline provides both frame-level labels for spatial learning and sequence-level supervision for temporal learning. Building on this, we train a unified ViT-based dense predictor that (i) injects an explicit human geometric prior via CSE embeddings and (ii) improves geometry-feature reliability with a lightweight channel reweighting module after feature fusion. Our two-stage training strategy, combining static pretraining with dynamic sequence supervision, enables the model first to acquire robust spatial representations and then refine temporal consistency across motion-aligned sequences. Extensive experiments show that we achieve state-of-the-art performance on THuman2.1 and Hi4D and generalize effectively to in-the-wild videos.

TFGA-Net: Temporal-Frequency Graph Attention Network for Brain-Controlled Speaker Extraction

The rapid development of auditory attention decoding (AAD) based on electroencephalography (EEG) signals offers the possibility EEG-driven target speaker extraction. However, how to effectively utilize the target-speaker common information between EEG and speech remains an unresolved problem. In this paper, we propose a model for brain-controlled speaker extraction, which utilizes the EEG recorded from the listener to extract the target speech. In order to effectively extract information from EEG signals, we derive multi-scale time--frequency features and further incorporate cortical topological structures that are selectively engaged during the task. Moreover, to effectively exploit the non-Euclidean structure of EEG signals and capture their global features, the graph convolutional networks and self-attention mechanism are used in the EEG encoder. In addition, to make full use of the fused EEG and speech feature and preserve global context and capture speech rhythm and prosody, we introduce MossFormer2 which combines MossFormer and RNN-Free Recurrent as separator. Experimental results on both the public Cocktail Party and KUL dataset in this paper show that our TFGA-Net model significantly outper-forms the state-of-the-art method in certain objective evaluation metrics. AffectSeek: Agentic Affective Understanding in Long Videos under Vague User Queries

Existing affective understanding studies have mainly focused on recognizing emotions from images, audio signals, or pre-cliped video clips, where the affective evidence is already given. This passive and clip-centered setting does not fully reflect real-world scenarios, in which users often interact with long videos and express their needs through natural-language queries. In this paper, we study \textbf{Vague-Query-driven video Affective Understanding (VQAU)}, a new task that requires models to localize affective moments in long videos, predict their emotion categories, and generate evidence-grounded rationales under vague user queries. To support this task, we construct \textbf{VQAU-Bench}, a benchmark that integrates long videos, vague affective queries, temporal clip annotations, emotion labels, and rationale explanations into a unified evaluation framework. VQAU-Bench enables systematic assessment of semantic-temporal-affective alignment, affective moment localization, emotion classification, and rationale generation. To address the multi-step reasoning challenges of VQAU, we further propose \textbf{AffectSeek}, an agentic framework that actively seeks, verifies, and explains affective moments in long videos. AffectSeek decomposes VQAU into intent interpretation, candidate localization, clip verification, emotion reasoning, and rationale generation, and progressively aligns vague user intent with long-video evidence through role-specialized reasoning and cross-stage verification. Experiments show that VQAU remains challenging for existing affective recognition models and single-step vision-language models, while AffectSeek provides a simple yet effective framework for agentic long-video affective understanding.

TableGPT2: A Large Multimodal Model with Tabular Data Integration

The emergence of models like GPTs, Claude, LLaMA, and Qwen has reshaped AI applications, presenting vast new opportunities across industries. Yet, the integration of tabular data remains notably underdeveloped, despite its foundational role in numerous real-world domains. This gap is critical for three main reasons. First, database or data warehouse data integration is essential for advanced applications; second, the vast and largely untapped resource of tabular data offers immense potential for analysis; and third, the business intelligence domain specifically demands adaptable, precise solutions that many current LLMs may struggle to provide. In response, we introduce TableGPT2, a model rigorously pre-trained and fine-tuned with over 593.8K tables and 2.36M high-quality query-table-output tuples, a scale of table-related data unprecedented in prior research. This extensive training enables TableGPT2 to excel in table-centric tasks while maintaining strong general language and coding abilities. One of TableGPT2's key innovations is its novel table encoder, specifically designed to capture schema-level and cell-level information. This encoder strengthens the model's ability to handle ambiguous queries, missing column names, and irregular tables commonly encountered in real-world applications. Similar to visual language models, this pioneering approach integrates with the decoder to form a robust large multimodal model. We believe the results are compelling: over 23 benchmarking metrics, TableGPT2 achieves an average performance improvement of 35.20% in the 7B model and 49.32% in the 72B model over prior benchmark-neutral LLMs, with robust general-purpose capabilities intact.

LEMON: Learning 3D Human-Object Interaction Relation from 2D Images

Learning 3D human-object interaction relation is pivotal to embodied AI and interaction modeling. Most existing methods approach the goal by learning to predict isolated interaction elements, e.g., human contact, object affordance, and human-object spatial relation, primarily from the perspective of either the human or the object. Which underexploit certain correlations between the interaction counterparts (human and object), and struggle to address the uncertainty in interactions. Actually, objects' functionalities potentially affect humans' interaction intentions, which reveals what the interaction is. Meanwhile, the interacting humans and objects exhibit matching geometric structures, which presents how to interact. In light of this, we propose harnessing these inherent correlations between interaction counterparts to mitigate the uncertainty and jointly anticipate the above interaction elements in 3D space. To achieve this, we present LEMON (LEarning 3D huMan-Object iNteraction relation), a unified model that mines interaction intentions of the counterparts and employs curvatures to guide the extraction of geometric correlations, combining them to anticipate the interaction elements. Besides, the 3D Interaction Relation dataset (3DIR) is collected to serve as the test bed for training and evaluation. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of LEMON over methods estimating each element in isolation.

NTIRE 2025 Challenge on RAW Image Restoration and Super-Resolution

This paper reviews the NTIRE 2025 RAW Image Restoration and Super-Resolution Challenge, highlighting the proposed solutions and results. New methods for RAW Restoration and Super-Resolution could be essential in modern Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipelines, however, this problem is not as explored as in the RGB domain. The goal of this challenge is two fold, (i) restore RAW images with blur and noise degradations, (ii) upscale RAW Bayer images by 2x, considering unknown noise and blur. In the challenge, a total of 230 participants registered, and 45 submitted results during thee challenge period. This report presents the current state-of-the-art in RAW Restoration.

EgoChoir: Capturing 3D Human-Object Interaction Regions from Egocentric Views

Understanding egocentric human-object interaction (HOI) is a fundamental aspect of human-centric perception, facilitating applications like AR/VR and embodied AI. For the egocentric HOI, in addition to perceiving semantics e.g., ''what'' interaction is occurring, capturing ''where'' the interaction specifically manifests in 3D space is also crucial, which links the perception and operation. Existing methods primarily leverage observations of HOI to capture interaction regions from an exocentric view. However, incomplete observations of interacting parties in the egocentric view introduce ambiguity between visual observations and interaction contents, impairing their efficacy. From the egocentric view, humans integrate the visual cortex, cerebellum, and brain to internalize their intentions and interaction concepts of objects, allowing for the pre-formulation of interactions and making behaviors even when interaction regions are out of sight. In light of this, we propose harmonizing the visual appearance, head motion, and 3D object to excavate the object interaction concept and subject intention, jointly inferring 3D human contact and object affordance from egocentric videos. To achieve this, we present EgoChoir, which links object structures with interaction contexts inherent in appearance and head motion to reveal object affordance, further utilizing it to model human contact. Additionally, a gradient modulation is employed to adopt appropriate clues for capturing interaction regions across various egocentric scenarios. Moreover, 3D contact and affordance are annotated for egocentric videos collected from Ego-Exo4D and GIMO to support the task. Extensive experiments on them demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of EgoChoir.

SIGMAN:Scaling 3D Human Gaussian Generation with Millions of Assets

3D human digitization has long been a highly pursued yet challenging task. Existing methods aim to generate high-quality 3D digital humans from single or multiple views, but remain primarily constrained by current paradigms and the scarcity of 3D human assets. Specifically, recent approaches fall into several paradigms: optimization-based and feed-forward (both single-view regression and multi-view generation with reconstruction). However, they are limited by slow speed, low quality, cascade reasoning, and ambiguity in mapping low-dimensional planes to high-dimensional space due to occlusion and invisibility, respectively. Furthermore, existing 3D human assets remain small-scale, insufficient for large-scale training. To address these challenges, we propose a latent space generation paradigm for 3D human digitization, which involves compressing multi-view images into Gaussians via a UV-structured VAE, along with DiT-based conditional generation, we transform the ill-posed low-to-high-dimensional mapping problem into a learnable distribution shift, which also supports end-to-end inference. In addition, we employ the multi-view optimization approach combined with synthetic data to construct the HGS-1M dataset, which contains $1$ million 3D Gaussian assets to support the large-scale training. Experimental results demonstrate that our paradigm, powered by large-scale training, produces high-quality 3D human Gaussians with intricate textures, facial details, and loose clothing deformation.

GREAT: Geometry-Intention Collaborative Inference for Open-Vocabulary 3D Object Affordance Grounding

Open-Vocabulary 3D object affordance grounding aims to anticipate ``action possibilities'' regions on 3D objects with arbitrary instructions, which is crucial for robots to generically perceive real scenarios and respond to operational changes. Existing methods focus on combining images or languages that depict interactions with 3D geometries to introduce external interaction priors. However, they are still vulnerable to a limited semantic space by failing to leverage implied invariant geometries and potential interaction intentions. Normally, humans address complex tasks through multi-step reasoning and respond to diverse situations by leveraging associative and analogical thinking. In light of this, we propose GREAT (GeometRy-intEntion collAboraTive inference) for Open-Vocabulary 3D Object Affordance Grounding, a novel framework that mines the object invariant geometry attributes and performs analogically reason in potential interaction scenarios to form affordance knowledge, fully combining the knowledge with both geometries and visual contents to ground 3D object affordance. Besides, we introduce the Point Image Affordance Dataset v2 (PIADv2), the largest 3D object affordance dataset at present to support the task. VideoGen-Eval: Agent-based System for Video Generation Evaluation

The rapid advancement of video generation has rendered existing evaluation systems inadequate for assessing state-of-the-art models, primarily due to simple prompts that cannot showcase the model's capabilities, fixed evaluation operators struggling with Out-of-Distribution (OOD) cases, and misalignment between computed metrics and human preferences. To bridge the gap, we propose VideoGen-Eval, an agent evaluation system that integrates LLM-based content structuring, MLLM-based content judgment, and patch tools designed for temporal-dense dimensions, to achieve a dynamic, flexible, and expandable video generation evaluation. Additionally, we introduce a video generation benchmark to evaluate existing cutting-edge models and verify the effectiveness of our evaluation system. It comprises 700 structured, content-rich prompts (both T2V and I2V) and over 12,000 videos generated by 20+ models, among them, 8 cutting-edge models are selected as quantitative evaluation for the agent and human. Extensive experiments validate that our proposed agent-based evaluation system demonstrates strong alignment with human preferences and reliably completes the evaluation, as well as the diversity and richness of the benchmark.

DanceTogether! Identity-Preserving Multi-Person Interactive Video Generation

Controllable video generation (CVG) has advanced rapidly, yet current systems falter when more than one actor must move, interact, and exchange positions under noisy control signals. We address this gap with DanceTogether, the first end-to-end diffusion framework that turns a single reference image plus independent pose-mask streams into long, photorealistic videos while strictly preserving every identity. A novel MaskPoseAdapter binds "who" and "how" at every denoising step by fusing robust tracking masks with semantically rich-but noisy-pose heat-maps, eliminating the identity drift and appearance bleeding that plague frame-wise pipelines. To train and evaluate at scale, we introduce (i) PairFS-4K, 26 hours of dual-skater footage with 7,000+ distinct IDs, (ii) HumanRob-300, a one-hour humanoid-robot interaction set for rapid cross-domain transfer, and (iii) TogetherVideoBench, a three-track benchmark centered on the DanceTogEval-100 test suite covering dance, boxing, wrestling, yoga, and figure skating. On TogetherVideoBench, DanceTogether outperforms the prior arts by a significant margin. Moreover, we show that a one-hour fine-tune yields convincing human-robot videos, underscoring broad generalization to embodied-AI and HRI tasks. Extensive ablations confirm that persistent identity-action binding is critical to these gains. Together, our model, datasets, and benchmark lift CVG from single-subject choreography to compositionally controllable, multi-actor interaction, opening new avenues for digital production, simulation, and embodied intelligence. HERO: Human Reaction Generation from Videos

Human reaction generation represents a significant research domain for interactive AI, as humans constantly interact with their surroundings. Previous works focus mainly on synthesizing the reactive motion given a human motion sequence. This paradigm limits interaction categories to human-human interactions and ignores emotions that may influence reaction generation. In this work, we propose to generate 3D human reactions from RGB videos, which involves a wider range of interaction categories and naturally provides information about expressions that may reflect the subject's emotions. To cope with this task, we present HERO, a simple yet powerful framework for Human rEaction geneRation from videOs. HERO considers both global and frame-level local representations of the video to extract the interaction intention, and then uses the extracted interaction intention to guide the synthesis of the reaction. Besides, local visual representations are continuously injected into the model to maximize the exploitation of the dynamic properties inherent in videos. Furthermore, the ViMo dataset containing paired Video-Motion data is collected to support the task. In addition to human-human interactions, these video-motion pairs also cover animal-human interactions and scene-human interactions. Gloria: Consistent Character Video Generation via Content Anchors

Digital characters are central to modern media, yet generating character videos with long-duration, consistent multi-view appearance and expressive identity remains challenging. Existing approaches either provide insufficient context to preserve identity or leverage non-character-centric information as the memory, leading to suboptimal consistency. Recognizing that character video generation inherently resembles an outside-looking-in scenario. In this work, we propose representing the character visual attributes through a compact set of anchor frames. This design provides stable references for consistency, while reference-based video generation inherently faces challenges of copy-pasting and multi-reference conflicts. To address these, we introduce two mechanisms: Superset Content Anchoring, providing intra- and extra-training clip cues to prevent duplication, and RoPE as Weak Condition, encoding positional offsets to distinguish multiple anchors. Furthermore, we construct a scalable pipeline to extract these anchors from massive videos. Experiments show our method generates high-quality character videos exceeding 10 minutes, and achieves expressive identity and appearance consistency across views, surpassing existing methods.

GRACE: Estimating Geometry-level 3D Human-Scene Contact from 2D Images

Estimating the geometry level of human-scene contact aims to ground specific contact surface points at 3D human geometries, which provides a spatial prior and bridges the interaction between human and scene, supporting applications such as human behavior analysis, embodied AI, and AR/VR. To complete the task, existing approaches predominantly rely on parametric human models (e.g., SMPL), which establish correspondences between images and contact regions through fixed SMPL vertex sequences. This actually completes the mapping from image features to an ordered sequence. However, this approach lacks consideration of geometry, limiting its generalizability in distinct human geometries. In this paper, we introduce GRACE (Geometry-level Reasoning for 3D Human-scene Contact Estimation), a new paradigm for 3D human contact estimation. GRACE incorporates a point cloud encoder-decoder architecture along with a hierarchical feature extraction and fusion module, enabling the effective integration of 3D human geometric structures with 2D interaction semantics derived from images. Guided by visual cues, GRACE establishes an implicit mapping from geometric features to the vertex space of the 3D human mesh, thereby achieving accurate modeling of contact regions. This design ensures high prediction accuracy and endows the framework with strong generalization capability across diverse human geometries. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmark datasets demonstrate that GRACE achieves state-of-the-art performance in contact estimation, with additional results further validating its robust generalization to unstructured human point clouds.

TOUCH: Text-guided Controllable Generation of Free-Form Hand-Object Interactions

Hand-object interaction (HOI) is fundamental for humans to express intent. Existing HOI generation research is predominantly confined to fixed grasping patterns, where control is tied to physical priors such as force closure or generic intent instructions, even when expressed through elaborate language. Such an overly general conditioning imposes a strong inductive bias for stable grasps, thus failing to capture the diversity of daily HOI. To address these limitations, we introduce Free-Form HOI Generation, which aims to generate controllable, diverse, and physically plausible HOI conditioned on fine-grained intent, extending HOI from grasping to free-form interactions, like pushing, poking, and rotating. To support this task, we construct WildO2, an in-the-wild diverse 3D HOI dataset, which includes diverse HOI derived from internet videos. Specifically, it contains 4.4k unique interactions across 92 intents and 610 object categories, each with detailed semantic annotations. Building on this dataset, we propose TOUCH, a three-stage framework centered on a multi-level diffusion model that facilitates fine-grained semantic control to generate versatile hand poses beyond grasping priors. This process leverages explicit contact modeling for conditioning and is subsequently refined with contact consistency and physical constraints to ensure realism. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate our method's ability to generate controllable, diverse, and physically plausible hand interactions representative of daily activities. GIR-Bench: Versatile Benchmark for Generating Images with Reasoning

Unified multimodal models integrate the reasoning capacity of large language models with both image understanding and generation, showing great promise for advanced multimodal intelligence. However, the community still lacks a rigorous reasoning-centric benchmark to systematically evaluate the alignment between understanding and generation, and their generalization potential in complex visual tasks. To this end, we introduce \textbf{GIR-Bench}, a comprehensive benchmark that evaluates unified models across three complementary perspectives. Firstly, we investigate understanding-generation consistency (GIR-Bench-UGC), asking whether models can consistently leverage the same knowledge in both understanding and generation tasks. Secondly, we investigate whether models can perform reasoning-centric text-to-image generation that requires applying logical constraints and implicit knowledge to generate faithful visual content (GIR-Bench-T2I). Thirdly, we evaluate whether models can handle multi-step reasoning in editing (GIR-Bench-Edit). For each subset, we carefully design different task-specific evaluation pipelines tailored for each task. This enables fine-grained and interpretable evaluation while mitigating biases from the prevalent MLLM-as-a-Judge paradigm. Extensive ablations over various unified models and generation-only systems have shown that: Although unified models are more capable of reasoning-driven visual tasks, they still exhibit a persistent gap between understanding and generation. Versatile Cataract Fundus Image Restoration Model Utilizing Unpaired Cataract and High-quality Images

Cataract is one of the most common blinding eye diseases and can be treated by surgery. However, because cataract patients may also suffer from other blinding eye diseases, ophthalmologists must diagnose them before surgery. The cloudy lens of cataract patients forms a hazy degeneration in the fundus images, making it challenging to observe the patient's fundus vessels, which brings difficulties to the diagnosis process. To address this issue, this paper establishes a new cataract image restoration method named Catintell. It contains a cataract image synthesizing model, Catintell-Syn, and a restoration model, Catintell-Res. Catintell-Syn uses GAN architecture with fully unsupervised data to generate paired cataract-like images with realistic style and texture rather than the conventional Gaussian degradation algorithm. Meanwhile, Catintell-Res is an image restoration network that can improve the quality of real cataract fundus images using the knowledge learned from synthetic cataract images. Extensive experiments show that Catintell-Res outperforms other cataract image restoration methods in PSNR with 39.03 and SSIM with 0.9476. Furthermore, the universal restoration ability that Catintell-Res gained from unpaired cataract images can process cataract images from various datasets. We hope the models can help ophthalmologists identify other blinding eye diseases of cataract patients and inspire more medical image restoration methods in the future.

Self-supervision of Feature Transformation for Further Improving Supervised Learning

Self-supervised learning, which benefits from automatically constructing labels through pre-designed pretext task, has recently been applied for strengthen supervised learning. Since previous self-supervised pretext tasks are based on input, they may incur huge additional training overhead. In this paper we find that features in CNNs can be also used for self-supervision. Thus we creatively design the \emph{feature-based pretext task} which requires only a small amount of additional training overhead. In our task we discard different particular regions of features, and then train the model to distinguish these different features. In order to fully apply our feature-based pretext task in supervised learning, we also propose a novel learning framework containing multi-classifiers for further improvement. Original labels will be expanded to joint labels via self-supervision of feature transformations. With more semantic information provided by our self-supervised tasks, this approach can train CNNs more effectively. Extensive experiments on various supervised learning tasks demonstrate the accuracy improvement and wide applicability of our method.

Self-supervised Feature Enhancement: Applying Internal Pretext Task to Supervised Learning

Traditional self-supervised learning requires CNNs using external pretext tasks (i.e., image- or video-based tasks) to encode high-level semantic visual representations. In this paper, we show that feature transformations within CNNs can also be regarded as supervisory signals to construct the self-supervised task, called \emph{internal pretext task}. And such a task can be applied for the enhancement of supervised learning. Specifically, we first transform the internal feature maps by discarding different channels, and then define an additional internal pretext task to identify the discarded channels. CNNs are trained to predict the joint labels generated by the combination of self-supervised labels and original labels. By doing so, we let CNNs know which channels are missing while classifying in the hope to mine richer feature information. Extensive experiments show that our approach is effective on various models and datasets. And it's worth noting that we only incur negligible computational overhead. Furthermore, our approach can also be compatible with other methods to get better results.
