HTNav: A Hybrid Navigation Framework with Tiered Structure for Urban Aerial Vision-and-Language NavigationChengjie Fan, Cong Pan, Zijian Liu et al.
Inspired by the general Vision-and-Language Navigation (VLN) task, aerial VLN has attracted widespread attention, owing to its significant practical value in applications such as logistics delivery and urban inspection. However, existing methods face several challenges in complex urban environments, including insufficient generalization to unseen scenes, suboptimal performance in long-range path planning, and inadequate understanding of spatial continuity. To address these challenges, we propose HTNav, a new collaborative navigation framework that integrates Imitation Learning (IL) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) within a hybrid IL-RL framework. This framework adopts a staged training mechanism to ensure the stability of the basic navigation strategy while enhancing its environmental exploration capability. By integrating a tiered decision-making mechanism, it achieves collaborative interaction between macro-level path planning and fine-grained action control. Furthermore, a map representation learning module is introduced to deepen its understanding of spatial continuity in open domains. On the CityNav benchmark, our method achieves state-of-the-art performance across all scene levels and task difficulties. Experimental results demonstrate that this framework significantly improves navigation precision and robustness in complex urban environments.

Text-guided Controllable Diffusion for Realistic Camouflage Images GenerationYuhang Qian, Haiyan Chen, Wentong Li et al.
Camouflage Images Generation (CIG) is an emerging research area that focuses on synthesizing images in which objects are harmoniously blended and exhibit high visual consistency with their surroundings. Existing methods perform CIG by either fusing objects into specific backgrounds or outpainting the surroundings via foreground object-guided diffusion. However, they often fail to obtain natural results because they overlook the logical relationship between camouflaged objects and background environments. To address this issue, we propose CT-CIG, a Controllable Text-guided Camouflage Images Generation method that produces realistic and logically plausible camouflage images. Leveraging Large Visual Language Models (VLM), we design a Camouflage-Revealing Dialogue Mechanism (CRDM) to annotate existing camouflage datasets with high-quality text prompts. Subsequently, the constructed image-prompt pairs are utilized to finetune Stable Diffusion, incorporating a lightweight controller to guide the location and shape of camouflaged objects for enhanced camouflage scene fitness. Moreover, we design a Frequency Interaction Refinement Module (FIRM) to capture high-frequency texture features, facilitating the learning of complex camouflage patterns. Extensive experiments, including CLIPScore evaluation and camouflage effectiveness assessment, demonstrate the semantic alignment of our generated text prompts and CT-CIG's ability to produce photorealistic camouflage images.

B2Net: Camouflaged Object Detection via Boundary Aware and Boundary FusionJunmin Cai, Han Sun, Ningzhong Liu
Camouflaged object detection (COD) aims to identify objects in images that are well hidden in the environment due to their high similarity to the background in terms of texture and color. However, existing most boundary-guided camouflage object detection algorithms tend to generate object boundaries early in the network, and inaccurate edge priors often introduce noises in object detection. Address on this issue, we propose a novel network named B2Net aiming to enhance the accuracy of obtained boundaries by reusing boundary-aware modules at different stages of the network. Specifically, we present a Residual Feature Enhanced Module (RFEM) with the goal of integrating more discriminative feature representations to enhance detection accuracy and reliability. After that, the Boundary Aware Module (BAM) is introduced to explore edge cues twice by integrating spatial information from low-level features and semantic information from high-level features. Finally, we design the Cross-scale Boundary Fusion Module(CBFM) that integrate information across different scales in a top-down manner, merging boundary features with object features to obtain a comprehensive feature representation incorporating boundary information. Extensive experimental results on three challenging benchmark datasets demonstrate that our proposed method B2Net outperforms 15 state-of-art methods under widely used evaluation metrics. Code will be made publicly available.
