A Dynamic Feature Interaction Framework for Multi-task Visual PerceptionYuling Xi, Hao Chen, Ning Wang et al.
Multi-task visual perception has a wide range of applications in scene understanding such as autonomous driving. In this work, we devise an efficient unified framework to solve multiple common perception tasks, including instance segmentation, semantic segmentation, monocular 3D detection, and depth estimation. Simply sharing the same visual feature representations for these tasks impairs the performance of tasks, while independent task-specific feature extractors lead to parameter redundancy and latency. Thus, we design two feature-merge branches to learn feature basis, which can be useful to, and thus shared by, multiple perception tasks. Then, each task takes the corresponding feature basis as the input of the prediction task head to fulfill a specific task. In particular, one feature merge branch is designed for instance-level recognition the other for dense predictions. To enhance inter-branch communication, the instance branch passes pixel-wise spatial information of each instance to the dense branch using efficient dynamic convolution weighting. Moreover, a simple but effective dynamic routing mechanism is proposed to isolate task-specific features and leverage common properties among tasks. Our proposed framework, termed D2BNet, demonstrates a unique approach to parameter-efficient predictions for multi-task perception. In addition, as tasks benefit from co-training with each other, our solution achieves on par results on partially labeled settings on nuScenes and outperforms previous works for 3D detection and depth estimation on the Cityscapes dataset with full supervision.

Efficient Self-Evaluation for Diffusion Language Models via Sequence RegenerationLinhao Zhong, Linyu Wu, Wen Wang et al.
Diffusion large language models (dLLMs) have recently attracted significant attention for their ability to enhance diversity, controllability, and parallelism. However, their non-sequential, bidirectionally masked generation makes quality assessment difficult, underscoring the need for effective self-evaluation. In this work, we propose DiSE, a simple yet effective self-evaluation confidence quantification method for dLLMs. DiSE quantifies confidence by computing the probability of regenerating the tokens in the entire generated sequence, given the full context. This method enables more efficient and reliable quality assessment by leveraging token regeneration probabilities, facilitating both likelihood estimation and robust uncertainty quantification. Building upon DiSE, we further introduce a flexible-length generation framework, which adaptively controls the sequence length based on the model's self-assessment of its own output. We analyze and validate the feasibility of DiSE from the perspective of dLLM generalization, and empirically demonstrate that DiSE is positively correlated with both semantic coherence and answer accuracy. Extensive experiments on likelihood evaluation, uncertainty quantification, and flexible-length generation further confirm the effectiveness of the proposed DiSE.

Preserving Source Video Realism: High-Fidelity Face Swapping for Cinematic QualityZekai Luo, Zongze Du, Zhouhang Zhu et al.
Video face swapping is crucial in film and entertainment production, where achieving high fidelity and temporal consistency over long and complex video sequences remains a significant challenge. Inspired by recent advances in reference-guided image editing, we explore whether rich visual attributes from source videos can be similarly leveraged to enhance both fidelity and temporal coherence in video face swapping. Building on this insight, this work presents LivingSwap, the first video reference guided face swapping model. Our approach employs keyframes as conditioning signals to inject the target identity, enabling flexible and controllable editing. By combining keyframe conditioning with video reference guidance, the model performs temporal stitching to ensure stable identity preservation and high-fidelity reconstruction across long video sequences. To address the scarcity of data for reference-guided training, we construct a paired face-swapping dataset, Face2Face, and further reverse the data pairs to ensure reliable ground-truth supervision. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art results, seamlessly integrating the target identity with the source video's expressions, lighting, and motion, while significantly reducing manual effort in production workflows. Multiple Consistent 2D-3D Mappings for Robust Zero-Shot 3D Visual GroundingYufei Yin, Jie Zheng, Qianke Meng et al.
Zero-shot 3D Visual Grounding (3DVG) is a critical capability for open-world embodied AI. However, existing methods are fundamentally bottlenecked by the poor quality of open-vocabulary 3D proposals, suffering from inaccurate categories and imprecise geometries, as well as the spatial redundancy of exhaustive multi-view reasoning. To address these challenges, we propose MCM-VG, a novel framework that achieves robust zero-shot 3DVG by explicitly establishing Multiple Consistent 2D-3D Mappings. Instead of passively relying on noisy 3D segments, MCM-VG enforces 2D-3D consistency across three fundamental dimensions to achieve precise target localization and reliable reasoning. First, a Semantic Alignment module corrects category mismatches via LLM-driven query parsing and coarse-to-fine 2D-3D matching. Second, an Instance Rectification module leverages VLM-guided 2D segmentations to reconstruct missing targets, back-projecting these reliable visual priors to establish accurate 3D geometries. Finally, to eliminate spatial redundancy, a Viewpoint Distillation module clusters 3D camera directions to extract optimal frames. By pairing these optimal RGB frames with Bird's Eye View maps into concise visual prompt sets, we formulate the final target disambiguation as a multiple-choice reasoning task for Vision-Language Models. Extensive evaluations on ScanRefer and Nr3D benchmarks demonstrate that MCM-VG sets a new state-of-the-art for zero-shot 3D visual grounding. Remarkably, it achieves 62.0\% and 53.6\% in Acc@0.25 and Acc@0.5 on ScanRefer, outperforming previous baselines by substantial margins of 6.4\% and 4.0\%.

CoLeCLIP: Open-Domain Continual Learning via Joint Task Prompt and Vocabulary LearningYukun Li, Guansong Pang, Wei Suo et al.
This paper explores the problem of continual learning (CL) of vision-language models (VLMs) in open domains, where the models need to perform continual updating and inference on a streaming of datasets from diverse seen and unseen domains with novel classes. Such a capability is crucial for various applications in open environments, e.g., AI assistants, autonomous driving systems, and robotics. Current CL studies mostly focus on closed-set scenarios in a single domain with known classes. Large pre-trained VLMs like CLIP have demonstrated superior zero-shot recognition ability, and a number of recent studies leverage this ability to mitigate catastrophic forgetting in CL, but they focus on closed-set CL in a single domain dataset. Open-domain CL of large VLMs is significantly more challenging due to 1) large class correlations and domain gaps across the datasets and 2) the forgetting of zero-shot knowledge in the pre-trained VLMs in addition to the knowledge learned from the newly adapted datasets. In this work we introduce a novel approach, termed CoLeCLIP, that learns an open-domain CL model based on CLIP. It addresses these challenges by a joint learning of a set of task prompts and a cross-domain class vocabulary. Extensive experiments on 11 domain datasets show that CoLeCLIP outperforms state-of-the-art methods for open-domain CL under both task- and class-incremental learning settings.

OmniJigsaw: Enhancing Omni-Modal Reasoning via Modality-Orchestrated ReorderingYiduo Jia, Muzhi Zhu, Hao Zhong et al.
To extend the reinforcement learning post-training paradigm to omni-modal models for concurrently bolstering video-audio understanding and collaborative reasoning, we propose OmniJigsaw, a generic self-supervised framework built upon a temporal reordering proxy task. Centered on the chronological reconstruction of shuffled audio-visual clips, this paradigm strategically orchestrates visual and auditory signals to compel cross-modal integration through three distinct strategies: Joint Modality Integration, Sample-level Modality Selection, and Clip-level Modality Masking. Recognizing that the efficacy of such proxy tasks is fundamentally tied to puzzle quality, we design a two-stage coarse-to-fine data filtering pipeline, which facilitates the efficient adaptation of OmniJigsaw to massive unannotated omni-modal data. Our analysis reveals a ``bi-modal shortcut phenomenon'' in joint modality integration and demonstrates that fine-grained clip-level modality masking mitigates this issue while outperforming sample-level modality selection. Extensive evaluations on 15 benchmarks show substantial gains in video, audio, and collaborative reasoning, validating OmniJigsaw as a scalable paradigm for self-supervised omni-modal learning.

Unified Open-World Segmentation with Multi-Modal PromptsYang Liu, Yufei Yin, Chenchen Jing et al.
In this work, we present COSINE, a unified open-world segmentation model that consolidates open-vocabulary segmentation and in-context segmentation with multi-modal prompts (e.g., text and image). COSINE exploits foundation models to extract representations for an input image and corresponding multi-modal prompts, and a SegDecoder to align these representations, model their interaction, and obtain masks specified by input prompts across different granularities. In this way, COSINE overcomes architectural discrepancies, divergent learning objectives, and distinct representation learning strategies of previous pipelines for open-vocabulary segmentation and in-context segmentation. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that COSINE has significant performance improvements in both open-vocabulary and in-context segmentation tasks. Our exploratory analyses highlight that the synergistic collaboration between using visual and textual prompts leads to significantly improved generalization over single-modality approaches.
