CamGeo: Sparse Camera-Conditioned Image-to-Video Generation with 3D Geometry Priors

Sparse camera-conditioned image-to-video generation presents a pivotal challenge: synthesizing geometrically consistent 3D motion from minimal pose cues. Existing methods, which largely rely on dense supervision or naive interpolation, suffer from severe pose drift and motion discontinuities due to the lack of robust 3D priors. In this paper, we introduce CamGeo, a novel framework that distills rich 3D geometric knowledge from a pre-trained video-to-3D model (VGGT) directly into the diffusion backbone. To achieve this without incurring inference latency, we propose a training-only distillation strategy. Specifically, CamGeo incorporates: (1) keyframe trajectory distillation that enforces cycle-consistency with sparse input poses, (2) cross-frame consistency distillation with both camera trajectory and depth constraints to generate consistent structure across unsupervised frames, and (3) a three-stage coarse-to-fine curriculum learning, progressively scales geometric complexity, from global structure coherence to fine-grained refinement, achieving stable optimization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CamGeo achieves consistent improvements under various sparsity ratios.

Seed1.5-Thinking: Advancing Superb Reasoning Models with Reinforcement Learning

We introduce Seed1.5-Thinking, capable of reasoning through thinking before responding, resulting in improved performance on a wide range of benchmarks. Seed1.5-Thinking achieves 86.7 on AIME 2024, 55.0 on Codeforces and 77.3 on GPQA, demonstrating excellent reasoning abilities in STEM and coding. Beyond reasoning tasks, the method demonstrates notable generalization across diverse domains. For instance, it surpasses DeepSeek R1 by 8% in win rate on non-reasoning tasks, indicating its broader applicability. Compared to other state-of-the-art reasoning models, Seed1.5-Thinking is a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) model with a relatively small size, featuring 20B activated and 200B total parameters. As part of our effort to assess generalized reasoning, we develop two internal benchmarks, BeyondAIME and Codeforces, both of which will be publicly released to support future research. CameraNoise: Enabling Faithful Camera Control in Video Diffusion through Geometry-Flow-Guided Noise Warping

Precise camera pose control is critical for video diffusion, yet maintaining geometric consistency remains a challenge. Existing methods that directly inject numerical camera parameters into the diffusion backbone often fail to bridge the gap between abstract coordinates and visual content, leading to structural distortions. To address this issue, we propose CameraNoise, a flow-to-noise warping method that encodes camera motion into a temporally coherent stochastic representation. Unlike conventional conditioning, CameraNoise embeds camera poses directly into the noise space. This decouples motion from scene appearance while faithfully preserving trajectory dynamics. Specifically, we introduce a novel Geometry-guided Reprojection Flow and a noise warping algorithm, which jointly preserve the Gaussian prior of diffusion and ensure consistent noise propagation under camera transformations. By integrating CameraNoise into the diffusion process, our framework delivers stable, high-fidelity videos. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach significantly outperforms prior methods in both visual quality and trajectory faithfulness. Machine Learning Accelerated PDE Backstepping Observers

State estimation is important for a variety of tasks, from forecasting to substituting for unmeasured states in feedback controllers. Performing real-time state estimation for PDEs using provably and rapidly converging observers, such as those based on PDE backstepping, is computationally expensive and in many cases prohibitive. We propose a framework for accelerating PDE observer computations using learning-based approaches that are much faster while maintaining accuracy. In particular, we employ the recently-developed Fourier Neural Operator (FNO) to learn the functional mapping from the initial observer state and boundary measurements to the state estimate. By employing backstepping observer gains for previously-designed observers with particular convergence rate guarantees, we provide numerical experiments that evaluate the increased computational efficiency gained with FNO. We consider the state estimation for three benchmark PDE examples motivated by applications: first, for a reaction-diffusion (parabolic) PDE whose state is estimated with an exponential rate of convergence; second, for a parabolic PDE with exact prescribed-time estimation; and, third, for a pair of coupled first-order hyperbolic PDEs that modeling traffic flow density and velocity. The ML-accelerated observers trained on simulation data sets for these PDEs achieves up to three orders of magnitude improvement in computational speed compared to classical methods. This demonstrates the attractiveness of the ML-accelerated observers for real-time state estimation and control.

Tencent Advertising Algorithm Challenge 2025: All-Modality Generative Recommendation

Generative recommender systems are rapidly emerging as a new paradigm for recommendation, where collaborative identifiers and/or multi-modal content are mapped into discrete token spaces and user behavior is modelled with autoregressive sequence models. Despite progress on multi-modal recommendation datasets, there is still a lack of public benchmarks that jointly offer large-scale, realistic and fully all-modality data designed specifically for generative recommendation (GR) in industrial advertising. To foster research in this direction, we organised the Tencent Advertising Algorithm Challenge 2025, a global competition built on top of two all-modality datasets for GR: TencentGR-1M and TencentGR-10M. Both datasets are constructed from real de-identified Tencent Ads logs and contain rich collaborative IDs and multi-modal representations extracted with state-of-the-art embedding models. The preliminary track (TencentGR-1M) provides 1 million user sequences with up to 100 interacted items each, where each interaction is labeled with exposure and click signals, while the final track (TencentGR-10M) scales this to 10 million users and explicitly distinguishes between click and conversion events at both the sequence and target level. This paper presents the task definition, data construction process, feature schema, baseline GR model, evaluation protocol, and key findings from top-ranked and award-winning solutions. Our datasets focus on multi-modal sequence generation in an advertising setting and introduce weighted evaluation for high-value conversion events. Operator Learning for Robust Stabilization of Linear Markov-Jumping Hyperbolic PDEs

This paper addresses the problem of robust stabilization for linear hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) with Markov-jumping parameter uncertainty. We consider a 2 x 2 heterogeneous hyperbolic PDE and propose a control law using operator learning and the backstepping method. Specifically, the backstepping kernels used to construct the control law are approximated with neural operators (NO) in order to improve computational efficiency. The key challenge lies in deriving the stability conditions with respect to the Markov-jumping parameter uncertainty and NO approximation errors. The mean-square exponential stability of the stochastic system is achieved through Lyapunov analysis, indicating that the system can be stabilized if the random parameters are sufficiently close to the nominal parameters on average, and NO approximation errors are small enough. The theoretical results are applied to freeway traffic control under stochastic upstream demands and then validated through numerical simulations.

Search-P1: Path-Centric Reward Shaping for Stable and Efficient Agentic RAG Training

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) enhances large language models (LLMs) by incorporating external knowledge, yet traditional single-round retrieval struggles with complex multi-step reasoning. Agentic RAG addresses this by enabling LLMs to dynamically decide when and what to retrieve, but current RL-based training methods suffer from sparse outcome rewards that discard intermediate signals and low sample efficiency where failed samples contribute nothing. We propose Search-P1, a framework that introduces path-centric reward shaping for agentic RAG training, comprising two key components: (1) Path-Centric Reward, which evaluates the structural quality of reasoning trajectories through order-agnostic step coverage and soft scoring that extracts learning signals even from failed samples, and (2) Dual-Track Path Scoring with offline-generated reference planners that assesses paths from both self-consistency and reference-alignment perspectives. Experiments on multiple QA benchmarks demonstrate that Search-P1 achieves significant improvements over Search-R1 and other strong baselines, with an average accuracy gain of 7.7 points.

Towards Faithful Industrial RAG: A Reinforced Co-adaptation Framework for Advertising QA

Industrial advertising question answering (QA) is a high-stakes task in which hallucinated content, particularly fabricated URLs, can lead to financial loss, compliance violations, and legal risk. Although Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is widely adopted, deploying it in production remains challenging because industrial knowledge is inherently relational, frequently updated, and insufficiently aligned with generation objectives. We propose a reinforced co-adaptation framework that jointly optimizes retrieval and generation through two components: (1) Graph-aware Retrieval (GraphRAG), which models entity-relation structure over a high-citation knowledge subgraph for multi-hop, domain-specific evidence selection; and (2) evidence-constrained reinforcement learning via Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) with multi-dimensional rewards covering faithfulness, style compliance, safety, and URL validity. Experiments on an internal advertising QA dataset show consistent gains across expert-judged dimensions including accuracy, completeness, and safety, while reducing the hallucination rate by 72\%. A two-week online A/B test demonstrates a 28.6\% increase in like rate, a 46.2\% decrease in dislike rate, and a 92.7\% reduction in URL hallucination. The system has been running in production for over half a year and has served millions of QA interactions.

OneRanker: Unified Generation and Ranking with One Model in Industrial Advertising Recommendation

The end-to-end generative paradigm is revolutionizing advertising recommendation systems, driving a shift from traditional cascaded architectures towards unified modeling. However, practical deployment faces three core challenges: the misalignment between interest objectives and business value, the target-agnostic limitation of generative processes, and the disconnection between generation and ranking stages. Existing solutions often fall into a dilemma where single-stage fusion induces optimization tension, while stage decoupling causes irreversible information loss. To address this, we propose OneRanker, achieving architectural-level deep integration of generation and ranking. First, we design a value-aware multi-task decoupling architecture. By leveraging task token sequences and causal mask, we separate interest coverage and value optimization spaces within shared representations, effectively alleviating target conflicts. Second, we construct a coarse-to-fine collaborative target awareness mechanism, utilizing Fake Item Tokens for implicit awareness during generation and a ranking decoder for explicit value alignment at the candidate level. Finally, we propose input-output dual-side consistency guarantees. Through Key/Value pass-through mechanisms and Distribution Consistency (DC) Constraint Loss, we achieve end-to-end collaborative optimization between generation and ranking. The full deployment on Tencent's WeiXin channels advertising system has shown a significant improvement in key business metrics (GMV - Normal +1.34\%), providing a new paradigm with industrial feasibility for generative advertising recommendations.

AD-Bench: A Real-World, Trajectory-Aware Advertising Analytics Benchmark for LLM Agents

While Large Language Model (LLM) agents have achieved remarkable progress in complex reasoning tasks, evaluating their performance in real-world environments has become a critical problem. Current benchmarks, however, are largely restricted to idealized simulations, failing to address the practical demands of specialized domains like advertising and marketing analytics. In these fields, tasks are inherently more complex, often requiring multi-round interaction with professional marketing tools. To address this gap, we propose AD-Bench, a benchmark designed based on real-world business requirements of advertising and marketing platforms. AD-Bench is constructed from real user marketing analysis requests, with domain experts providing verifiable reference answers and corresponding reference tool-call trajectories. The benchmark categorizes requests into three difficulty levels (L1-L3) to evaluate agents' capabilities under multi-round, multi-tool collaboration. Experiments show that on AD-Bench, Gemini-3-Pro achieves Pass@1 = 68.0% and Pass@3 = 83.0%, but performance drops significantly on L3 to Pass@1 = 49.4% and Pass@3 = 62.1%, with a trajectory coverage of 70.1%, indicating that even state-of-the-art models still exhibit substantial capability gaps in complex advertising and marketing analysis scenarios. Efficient Cross-Architecture Knowledge Transfer for Large-Scale Online User Response Prediction

Deploying new architectures in large-scale user response prediction systems incurs high model switching costs due to expensive retraining on massive historical data and performance degradation under data retention constraints. Existing knowledge distillation methods struggle with architectural heterogeneity and the prohibitive cost of transferring large embedding tables. We propose CrossAdapt, a two-stage framework for efficient cross-architecture knowledge transfer. The offline stage enables rapid embedding transfer via dimension-adaptive projections without iterative training, combined with progressive network distillation and strategic sampling to reduce computational cost. The online stage introduces asymmetric co-distillation, where students update frequently while teachers update infrequently, together with a distribution-aware adaptation mechanism that dynamically balances historical knowledge preservation and fast adaptation to evolving data. Experiments on three public datasets show that CrossAdapt achieves 0.27-0.43% AUC improvements while reducing training time by 43-71%. Large-scale deployment on Tencent WeChat Channels (~10M daily samples) further demonstrates its effectiveness, significantly mitigating AUC degradation, LogLoss increase, and prediction bias compared to standard distillation baselines.

End-to-End Semantic ID Generation for Generative Advertisement Recommendation

Generative Recommendation (GR) has excelled by framing recommendation as next-token prediction. This paradigm relies on Semantic IDs (SIDs) to tokenize large-scale items into discrete sequences. Existing GR approaches predominantly generate SIDs via Residual Quantization (RQ), where items are encoded into embeddings and then quantized to discrete SIDs. However, this paradigm suffers from inherent limitations: 1) Objective misalignment and semantic degradation stemming from the two-stage compression; 2) Error accumulation inherent in the structure of RQ. To address these limitations, we propose UniSID, a Unified SID generation framework for generative advertisement recommendation. Specifically, we jointly optimize embeddings and SIDs in an end-to-end manner from raw advertising data, enabling semantic information to flow directly into the SID space and thus addressing the inherent limitations of the two-stage cascading compression paradigm. To capture fine-grained semantics, a multi-granularity contrastive learning strategy is introduced to align distinct items across SID levels. Finally, a summary-based ad reconstruction mechanism is proposed to encourage SIDs to capture high-level semantic information that is not explicitly present in advertising contexts. Experiments demonstrate that UniSID consistently outperforms state-of-the-art SID generation methods, yielding up to a 4.62% improvement in Hit Rate metrics across downstream advertising scenarios compared to the strongest baseline.

InpaintDPO: Mitigating Spatial Relationship Hallucinations in Foreground-conditioned Inpainting via Diverse Preference Optimization

Foreground-conditioned inpainting, which aims at generating a harmonious background for a given foreground subject based on the text prompt, is an important subfield in controllable image generation. A common challenge in current methods, however, is the occurrence of Spatial Relationship Hallucinations between the foreground subject and the generated background, including inappropriate scale, positional relationships, and viewpoints. Critically, the subjective nature of spatial rationality makes it challenging to quantify, hindering the use of traditional reward-based RLHF methods. To address this issue, we propose InpaintDPO, the first Direct Preference Optimization (DPO) based framework dedicated to spatial rationality in foreground-conditioned inpainting, ensuring plausible spatial relationships between foreground and background elements. To resolve the gradient conflicts in standard DPO caused by identical foreground in win-lose pairs, we propose MaskDPO, which confines preference optimization exclusively to the background to enhance background spatial relationships, while retaining the inpainting loss in the foreground region for robust foreground preservation. To enhance coherence at the foreground-background boundary, we propose Conditional Asymmetric Preference Optimization, which samples pairs with differentiated cropping operations and applies global preference optimization to promote contextual awareness and enhance boundary coherence. Finally, based on the observation that winning samples share a commonality in plausible spatial relationships, we propose Shared Commonality Preference Optimization to enhance the model's understanding of spatial commonality across high-quality winning samples, further promoting shared spatial rationality.

ARGUS: Policy-Adaptive Ad Governance via Evolving Reinforcement with Adversarial Umpiring

Online advertising governance faces significant challenges due to the non-stationary nature of regulatory policies, where emerging mandates (e.g., restrictions on education or aesthetic anxiety) create severe label inconsistencies and reasoning ambiguities in historical datasets. In this paper, we propose ARGUS, a policy-adaptive governance system that enables evolving reinforcement through multi-agent adversarial umpiring. ARGUS addresses the sparsity of new policy data by employing a three-stage framework: (1) Policy Seeding for initial perception; (2) Adversarial Label Rectification, which utilizes a ``Prosecutor-Defender-Umpire'' architecture to resolve conflicts between stale labels and new mandates; and (3) Latent Knowledge Discovery, which employs a tripartite dialectical discussion to unearth sophisticated, ``gray-area'' violations. By leveraging RAG-enhanced policy knowledge and Chain-of-Thought synthesis as dynamic rewards for reinforcement learning, ARGUS synchronizes its reasoning pathways with evolving regulations. Extensive experiments on both industrial and public datasets demonstrate that ARGUS significantly outperforms traditional fine-tuning baselines, achieving superior policy-adaptive learning with minimal gold data.

Spend Search Where It Pays: Value-Guided Structured Sampling and Optimization for Generative Recommendation

Generative recommendation via autoregressive models has unified retrieval and ranking into a single conditional generation framework. However, fine-tuning these models with Reinforcement Learning (RL) often suffers from a fundamental probability-reward mismatch. Conventional likelihood-dominated decoding (e.g., beam search) exhibits a myopic bias toward locally probable prefixes, which causes two critical failures: (1) insufficient exploration, where high-reward items in low-probability branches are prematurely pruned and rarely sampled, and (2) advantage compression, where trajectories sharing high-probability prefixes receive highly correlated rewards with low within-group variance, yielding a weak comparative signal for RL. To address these challenges, we propose V-STAR, a Value-guided Sampling and Tree-structured Advantage Reinforcement framework. V-STAR forms a self-evolving loop via two synergistic components. First, a Value-Guided Efficient Decoding (VED) is developed to identify decisive nodes and selectively deepen high-potential prefixes. This improves exploration efficiency without exhaustive tree search. Second, we propose Sibling-GRPO, which exploits the induced tree topology to compute sibling-relative advantages and concentrates learning signals on decisive branching decisions. Extensive experiments on both offline and online datasets demonstrate that V-STAR outperforms state-of-the-art baselines, delivering superior accuracy and candidate-set diversity under strict latency constraints.

PRISM: Parallel Residual Iterative Sequence Model

Generative sequence modeling faces a fundamental tension between the expressivity of Transformers and the efficiency of linear sequence models. Existing efficient architectures are theoretically bounded by shallow, single-step linear updates, while powerful iterative methods like Test-Time Training (TTT) break hardware parallelism due to state-dependent gradients. We propose PRISM (Parallel Residual Iterative Sequence Model) to resolve this tension. PRISM introduces a solver-inspired inductive bias that captures key structural properties of multi-step refinement in a parallelizable form. We employ a Write-Forget Decoupling strategy that isolates non-linearity within the injection operator. To bypass the serial dependency of explicit solvers, PRISM utilizes a two-stage proxy architecture: a short-convolution anchors the initial residual using local history energy, while a learned predictor estimates the refinement updates directly from the input. This design distills structural patterns associated with iterative correction into a parallelizable feedforward operator. Theoretically, we prove that this formulation achieves Rank-$L$ accumulation, structurally expanding the update manifold beyond the single-step Rank-$1$ bottleneck. Empirically, it achieves comparable performance to explicit optimization methods while achieving 174x higher throughput.

Neural Operators for Boundary Stabilization of Stop-and-go Traffic

This paper introduces a novel approach to PDE boundary control design using neural operators to alleviate stop-and-go instabilities in congested traffic flow. Our framework leverages neural operators to design control strategies for traffic flow systems. The traffic dynamics are described by the Aw-Rascle-Zhang (ARZ) model, which comprises a set of second-order coupled hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs). Backstepping method is widely used for boundary control of such PDE systems. The PDE model-based control design can be time-consuming and require intensive depth of expertise since it involves constructing and solving backstepping control kernels. To overcome these challenges, we present two distinct neural operator (NO) learning schemes aimed at stabilizing the traffic PDE system. The first scheme embeds NO-approximated gain kernels within a predefined backstepping controller, while the second one directly learns a boundary control law. The Lyapunov analysis is conducted to evaluate the stability of the NO-approximated gain kernels and control law. It is proved that the NO-based closed-loop system is practical stable under certain approximation accuracy conditions in NO-learning. To validate the efficacy of the proposed approach, simulations are conducted to compare the performance of the two neural operator controllers with a PDE backstepping controller and a Proportional Integral (PI) controller. While the NO-approximated methods exhibit higher errors compared to the backstepping controller, they consistently outperform the PI controller, demonstrating faster computation speeds across all scenarios. This result suggests that neural operators can significantly expedite and simplify the process of obtaining boundary controllers in traffic PDE systems.

Robust LLM Training Infrastructure at ByteDance

The training scale of large language models (LLMs) has reached tens of thousands of GPUs and is still continuously expanding, enabling faster learning of larger models. Accompanying the expansion of the resource scale is the prevalence of failures (CUDA error, NaN values, job hang, etc.), which poses significant challenges to training stability. Any large-scale LLM training infrastructure should strive for minimal training interruption, efficient fault diagnosis, and effective failure tolerance to enable highly efficient continuous training. This paper presents ByteRobust, a large-scale GPU infrastructure management system tailored for robust and stable training of LLMs. It exploits the uniqueness of LLM training process and gives top priorities to detecting and recovering failures in a routine manner. Leveraging parallelisms and characteristics of LLM training, ByteRobust enables high-capacity fault tolerance, prompt fault demarcation, and localization with an effective data-driven approach, comprehensively ensuring continuous and efficient training of LLM tasks. ByteRobust is deployed on a production GPU platform and achieves 97% ETTR for a three-month training job on 9,600 GPUs.

Learning "Look-Ahead" Nonlocal Traffic Dynamics in a Ring Road

The macroscopic traffic flow model is widely used for traffic control and management. To incorporate drivers' anticipative behaviors and to remove impractical speed discontinuity inherent in the classic Lighthill-Whitham-Richards (LWR) traffic model, nonlocal partial differential equation (PDE) models with ``look-ahead" dynamics have been proposed, which assume that the speed is a function of weighted downstream traffic density. However, it lacks data validation on two important questions: whether there exist nonlocal dynamics, and how the length and weight of the ``look-ahead" window affect the spatial temporal propagation of traffic densities. In this paper, we adopt traffic trajectory data from a ring-road experiment and design a physics-informed neural network to learn the fundamental diagram and look-ahead kernel that best fit the data, and reinvent a data-enhanced nonlocal LWR model via minimizing the loss function combining the data discrepancy and the nonlocal model discrepancy. Results show that the learned nonlocal LWR yields a more accurate prediction of traffic wave propagation in three different scenarios: stop-and-go oscillations, congested, and free traffic. We first demonstrate the existence of ``look-ahead" effect with real traffic data. The optimal nonlocal kernel is found out to take a length of around 35 to 50 meters, and the kernel weight within 5 meters accounts for the majority of the nonlocal effect. Our results also underscore the importance of choosing a priori physics in machine learning models.

Visual-Linguistic Agent: Towards Collaborative Contextual Object Reasoning

Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) excel at descriptive tasks within images but often struggle with precise object localization, a critical element for reliable visual interpretation. In contrast, traditional object detection models provide high localization accuracy but frequently generate detections lacking contextual coherence due to limited modeling of inter-object relationships. To address this fundamental limitation, we introduce the \textbf{Visual-Linguistic Agent (VLA), a collaborative framework that combines the relational reasoning strengths of MLLMs with the precise localization capabilities of traditional object detectors. In the VLA paradigm, the MLLM serves as a central Linguistic Agent, working collaboratively with specialized Vision Agents for object detection and classification. The Linguistic Agent evaluates and refines detections by reasoning over spatial and contextual relationships among objects, while the classification Vision Agent offers corrective feedback to improve classification accuracy. This collaborative approach enables VLA to significantly enhance both spatial reasoning and object localization, addressing key challenges in multimodal understanding. Extensive evaluations on the COCO dataset demonstrate substantial performance improvements across multiple detection models, highlighting VLA's potential to set a new benchmark in accurate and contextually coherent object detection.

A Distributionally Robust Optimisation Approach to Fair Credit Scoring

Credit scoring has been catalogued by the European Commission and the Executive Office of the US President as a high-risk classification task, a key concern being the potential harms of making loan approval decisions based on models that would be biased against certain groups. To address this concern, recent credit scoring research has considered a range of fairness-enhancing techniques put forward by the machine learning community to reduce bias and unfair treatment in classification systems. While the definition of fairness or the approach they follow to impose it may vary, most of these techniques, however, disregard the robustness of the results. This can create situations where unfair treatment is effectively corrected in the training set, but when producing out-of-sample classifications, unfair treatment is incurred again. Instead, in this paper, we will investigate how to apply Distributionally Robust Optimisation (DRO) methods to credit scoring, thereby empirically evaluating how they perform in terms of fairness, ability to classify correctly, and the robustness of the solution against changes in the marginal proportions. In so doing, we find DRO methods to provide a substantial improvement in terms of fairness, with almost no loss in performance. These results thus indicate that DRO can improve fairness in credit scoring, provided that further advances are made in efficiently implementing these systems. In addition, our analysis suggests that many of the commonly used fairness metrics are unsuitable for a credit scoring setting, as they depend on the choice of classification threshold.

Disentangling to Re-couple: Resolving the Similarity-Controllability Paradox in Subject-Driven Text-to-Image Generation

Subject-Driven Text-to-Image (T2I) Generation aims to preserve a subject's identity while editing its context based on a text prompt. A core challenge in this task is the "similarity-controllability paradox", where enhancing textual control often degrades the subject's fidelity, and vice-versa. We argue this paradox stems from the ambiguous role of text prompts, which are often tasked with describing both the subject and the desired modifications, leading to conflicting signals for the model. To resolve this, we propose DisCo, a novel framework that first Disntangles and then re-Couples visual and textual information. First, our textual-visual decoupling module isolates the sources of information: subject identity is extracted exclusively from the reference image with the entity word of the subject, while the text prompt is simplified to contain only the modification command, where the subject refers to general pronouns, eliminating descriptive ambiguity. However, this strict separation can lead to unnatural compositions between the subject and its contexts. We address this by designing a dedicated reward signal and using reinforcement learning to seamlessly recouple the visually-defined subject and the textually-generated context. Our approach effectively resolves the paradox, enabling simultaneous high-fidelity subject preservation and precise textual control. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance, producing highly realistic and coherent images.

DSH-Bench: A Difficulty- and Scenario-Aware Benchmark with Hierarchical Subject Taxonomy for Subject-Driven Text-to-Image Generation

Significant progress has been achieved in subject-driven text-to-image (T2I) generation, which aims to synthesize new images depicting target subjects according to user instructions. However, evaluating these models remains a significant challenge. Existing benchmarks exhibit critical limitations: 1) insufficient diversity and comprehensiveness in subject images, 2) inadequate granularity in assessing model performance across different subject difficulty levels and prompt scenarios, and 3) a profound lack of actionable insights and diagnostic guidance for subsequent model refinement. To address these limitations, we propose DSH-Bench, a comprehensive benchmark that enables systematic multi-perspective analysis of subject-driven T2I models through four principal innovations: 1) a hierarchical taxonomy sampling mechanism ensuring comprehensive subject representation across 58 fine-grained categories, 2) an innovative classification scheme categorizing both subject difficulty level and prompt scenario for granular capability assessment, 3) a novel Subject Identity Consistency Score (SICS) metric demonstrating a 9.4\% higher correlation with human evaluation compared to existing measures in quantifying subject preservation, and 4) a comprehensive set of diagnostic insights derived from the benchmark, offering critical guidance for optimizing future model training paradigms and data construction strategies. Through an extensive empirical evaluation of 19 leading models, DSH-Bench uncovers previously obscured limitations in current approaches, establishing concrete directions for future research and development.

An Efficient Embedding Based Ad Retrieval with GPU-Powered Feature Interaction

In large-scale advertising recommendation systems, retrieval serves as a critical component, aiming to efficiently select a subset of candidate ads relevant to user behaviors from a massive ad inventory for subsequent ranking and recommendation. The Embedding-Based Retrieval (EBR) methods modeled by the dual-tower network are widely used in the industry to maintain both retrieval efficiency and accuracy. However, the dual-tower model has significant limitations: the embeddings of users and ads interact only at the final inner product computation, resulting in insufficient feature interaction capabilities. Although DNN-based models with both user and ad as input features, allowing for early-stage interaction between these features, are introduced in the ranking stage to mitigate this issue, they are computationally infeasible for the retrieval stage. To bridge this gap, this paper proposes an efficient GPU-based feature interaction for the dual-tower network to significantly improve retrieval accuracy while substantially reducing computational costs. Specifically, we introduce a novel compressed inverted list designed for GPU acceleration, enabling efficient feature interaction computation at scale. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first framework in the industry to successfully implement Wide and Deep in a retrieval system. We apply this model to the real-world business scenarios in Tencent Advertising, and experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms existing approaches in offline evaluation and has been successfully deployed to Tencent's advertising recommendation system, delivering significant online performance gains. This improvement not only validates the effectiveness of the proposed method, but also provides new practical guidance for optimizing large-scale ad retrieval systems.

A 3D Generation Framework from Cross Modality to Parameterized Primitive

Recent advancements in AI-driven 3D model generation have leveraged cross modality, yet generating models with smooth surfaces and minimizing storage overhead remain challenges. This paper introduces a novel multi-stage framework for generating 3D models composed of parameterized primitives, guided by textual and image inputs. In the framework, A model generation algorithm based on parameterized primitives, is proposed, which can identifies the shape features of the model constituent elements, and replace the elements with parameterized primitives with high quality surface. In addition, a corresponding model storage method is proposed, it can ensure the original surface quality of the model, while retaining only the parameters of parameterized primitives. Experiments on virtual scene dataset and real scene dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, achieving a Chamfer Distance of 0.003092, a VIoU of 0.545, a F1-Score of 0.9139 and a NC of 0.8369, with primitive parameter files approximately 6KB in size. Our approach is particularly suitable for rapid prototyping of simple models.

GM-Livox: An Integrated Framework for Large-Scale Map Construction with Multiple Non-repetitive Scanning LiDARs

With the ability of providing direct and accurate enough range measurements, light detection and ranging (LiDAR) is playing an essential role in localization and detection for autonomous vehicles. Since single LiDAR suffers from hardware failure and performance degradation intermittently, we present a multi-LiDAR integration scheme in this article. Our framework tightly couples multiple non-repetitive scanning LiDARs with inertial, encoder, and global navigation satellite system (GNSS) into pose estimation and simultaneous global map generation. Primarily, we formulate a precise synchronization strategy to integrate isolated sensors, and the extracted feature points from separate LiDARs are merged into a single sweep. The fused scans are introduced to compute the scan-matching correspondences, which can be further refined by additional real-time kinematic (RTK) measurements. Based thereupon, we construct a factor graph along with the inertial preintegration result, estimated ground constraints, and RTK data. For the purpose of maintaining a restricted number of poses for estimation, we deploy a keyframe based sliding-window optimization strategy in our system. The real-time performance is guaranteed with multi-threaded computation, and extensive experiments are conducted in challenging scenarios. Experimental results show that the utilization of multiple LiDARs boosts the system performance in both robustness and accuracy.

Modular Transfer Learning with Transition Mismatch Compensation for Excessive Disturbance Rejection

Underwater robots in shallow waters usually suffer from strong wave forces, which may frequently exceed robot's control constraints. Learning-based controllers are suitable for disturbance rejection control, but the excessive disturbances heavily affect the state transition in Markov Decision Process (MDP) or Partially Observable Markov Decision Process (POMDP). Also, pure learning procedures on targeted system may encounter damaging exploratory actions or unpredictable system variations, and training exclusively on a prior model usually cannot address model mismatch from the targeted system. In this paper, we propose a transfer learning framework that adapts a control policy for excessive disturbance rejection of an underwater robot under dynamics model mismatch. A modular network of learning policies is applied, composed of a Generalized Control Policy (GCP) and an Online Disturbance Identification Model (ODI). GCP is first trained over a wide array of disturbance waveforms. ODI then learns to use past states and actions of the system to predict the disturbance waveforms which are provided as input to GCP (along with the system state). A transfer reinforcement learning algorithm using Transition Mismatch Compensation (TMC) is developed based on the modular architecture, that learns an additional compensatory policy through minimizing mismatch of transitions predicted by the two dynamics models of the source and target tasks. We demonstrated on a pose regulation task in simulation that TMC is able to successfully reject the disturbances and stabilize the robot under an empirical model of the robot system, meanwhile improve sample efficiency.
