Diff-Reg v1: Diffusion Matching Model for Registration ProblemQianliang Wu, Haobo Jiang, Lei Luo et al.
Establishing reliable correspondences is essential for registration tasks such as 3D and 2D3D registration. Existing methods commonly leverage geometric or semantic point features to generate potential correspondences. However, these features may face challenges such as large deformation, scale inconsistency, and ambiguous matching problems (e.g., symmetry). Additionally, many previous methods, which rely on single-pass prediction, may struggle with local minima in complex scenarios. To mitigate these challenges, we introduce a diffusion matching model for robust correspondence construction. Our approach treats correspondence estimation as a denoising diffusion process within the doubly stochastic matrix space, which gradually denoises (refines) a doubly stochastic matching matrix to the ground-truth one for high-quality correspondence estimation. It involves a forward diffusion process that gradually introduces Gaussian noise into the ground truth matching matrix and a reverse denoising process that iteratively refines the noisy matching matrix. In particular, the feature extraction from the backbone occurs only once during the inference phase. Our lightweight denoising module utilizes the same feature at each reverse sampling step. Evaluation of our method on both 3D and 2D3D registration tasks confirms its effectiveness. The code is available at https://github.com/wuqianliang/Diff-Reg.

Multi-View Fusion Neural Network for Traffic Demand PredictionDongran Zhang, Jun Li
The extraction of spatial-temporal features is a crucial research in transportation studies, and current studies typically use a unified temporal modeling mechanism and fixed spatial graph for this purpose. However, the fixed spatial graph restricts the extraction of spatial features for similar but not directly connected nodes, while the unified temporal modeling mechanism overlooks the heterogeneity of temporal variation of different nodes. To address these challenges, a multi-view fusion neural network (MVFN) approach is proposed. In this approach, spatial local features are extracted through the use of a graph convolutional network (GCN), and spatial global features are extracted using a cosine re-weighting linear attention mechanism (CLA). The GCN and CLA are combined to create a graph-cosine module (GCM) for the extraction of overall spatial features. Additionally, the multi-channel separable temporal convolutional network (MSTCN) makes use of a multi-channel temporal convolutional network (MTCN) at each layer to extract unified temporal features, and a separable temporal convolutional network (STCN) to extract independent temporal features. Finally, the spatial-temporal feature data is input into the prediction layer to obtain the final result. The model has been validated on two traffic demand datasets and achieved the best prediction accuracy.

Hierarchical Federated Learning for Social Network with MobilityZeyu Chen, Wen Chen, Jun Li et al.
Federated Learning (FL) offers a decentralized solution that allows collaborative local model training and global aggregation, thereby protecting data privacy. In conventional FL frameworks, data privacy is typically preserved under the assumption that local data remains absolutely private, whereas the mobility of clients is frequently neglected in explicit modeling. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical federated learning framework based on the social network with mobility namely HFL-SNM that considers both data sharing among clients and their mobility patterns. Under the constraints of limited resources, we formulate a joint optimization problem of resource allocation and client scheduling, which objective is to minimize the energy consumption of clients during the FL process. In social network, we introduce the concepts of Effective Data Coverage Rate and Redundant Data Coverage Rate. We analyze the impact of effective data and redundant data on the model performance through preliminary experiments. We decouple the optimization problem into multiple sub-problems, analyze them based on preliminary experimental results, and propose Dynamic Optimization in Social Network with Mobility (DO-SNM) algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that our algorithm achieves superior model performance while significantly reducing energy consumption, compared to traditional baseline algorithms.
