Graph Diffusion-Based AeBS Deployment and Resource Allocation in RSMA-Enabled URLLC Low-Altitude Wireless NetworksXudong Wang, Lei Feng, Jiacheng Wang et al.
As a key component of low-altitude wireless networks, aerial base stations (AeBSs) provide flexible and reliable wireless coverage to support 6G ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC) services. However, limited spectrum resources and severe co-channel interference pose significant challenges to the deployment and resource allocation of AeBSs. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a novel rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA)-enabled transmission design to manage interference and enhance URLLC services in spectrum-constrained multi-AeBS networks. We formulate a joint optimization problem involving AeBS deployment, user association, and resource allocation to maximize the sum rate and coverage of system. Given the NP-hard nature of the problem, we propose a novel alternating optimization framework based on the generative graph diffusion models. Specifically, we model AeBSs and ground users as graph nodes, then we employ a discrete graph generation process solved via denoising diffusion to explore the combinatorial space of deployment and association strategies. Moreover, the successive convex approximation (SCA) is adopted to optimize AeBS beamforming and RSMA rate allocation under finite blocklength constraints. Extensive simulations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing methods in terms of convergence speed, sum rate, and coverage, while also exhibiting robust performance under varying network densities and interference levels.

Generative AI Enabled Matching for 6G Multiple AccessXudong Wang, Hongyang Du, Dusit Niyato et al.
In wireless networks, applying deep learning models to solve matching problems between different entities has become a mainstream and effective approach. However, the complex network topology in 6G multiple access presents significant challenges for the real-time performance and stability of matching generation. Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has demonstrated strong capabilities in graph feature extraction, exploration, and generation, offering potential for graph-structured matching generation. In this paper, we propose a GenAI-enabled matching generation framework to support 6G multiple access. Specifically, we first summarize the classical matching theory, discuss common GenAI models and applications from the perspective of matching generation. Then, we propose a framework based on generative diffusion models (GDMs) that iteratively denoises toward reward maximization to generate a matching strategy that meets specific requirements. Experimental results show that, compared to decision-based AI approaches, our framework can generate more effective matching strategies based on given conditions and predefined rewards, helping to solve complex problems in 6G multiple access, such as task allocation.

Projection Neural Network for a Class of Sparse Regression Problems with Cardinality PenaltyWenjing Li, Wei Bian
In this paper, we consider a class of sparse regression problems, whose objective function is the summation of a convex loss function and a cardinality penalty. By constructing a smoothing function for the cardinality function, we propose a projected neural network and design a correction method for solving this problem. The solution of the proposed neural network is unique, global existent, bounded and globally Lipschitz continuous. Besides, we prove that all accumulation points of the proposed neural network have a common support set and a unified lower bound for the nonzero entries. Combining the proposed neural network with the correction method, any corrected accumulation point is a local minimizer of the considered sparse regression problem. Moreover, we analyze the equivalent relationship on the local minimizers between the considered sparse regression problem and another regression sparse problem. Finally, some numerical experiments are provided to show the efficiency of the proposed neural networks in solving some sparse regression problems in practice.
