Consolidated Model of Procedures for Workflow Management
This work addresses workflow management for business process automation, but appears incremental as it builds on existing modeling approaches without claiming major breakthroughs.
The authors tackled the automation of business processes by developing a consolidated model for describing classes of processes, validated through a software application called COMPASS-P for monitoring evaluation and accreditation procedures in education.
The article presents an approach to automation of business processes by means of a consolidated model describing a class of processes. Rules and examples for building a consolidated model are given. The model is validated through development of a software application called COMPASS-P for monitoring of procedures for evaluation and accreditation of education.
