Building the distributed WPS-services execution environment

This work addresses the problem of service integration and standardization in distributed WPS environments for users in geospatial or web service domains, but it appears incremental as it builds on existing WPS standards without introducing major new capabilities.

The authors tackled the challenge of integrating distributed Web Processing Service (WPS) services by developing an environment that uses JavaScript scenarios for service integration, standardizes data processing procedures, stores service-related information, and provides a set of basic WPS services.
