Is swarm intelligence able to create mazes?
This addresses a niche problem for board game designers or researchers in computational creativity, but it appears incremental as it applies existing swarm intelligence methods to a new application area.
The paper tackled the problem of creating mazes using computational intelligence, specifically swarm intelligence, and examined two different algorithms to test this idea, presenting experimental results that discuss their advantages and disadvantages.
In this paper, the idea of applying Computational Intelligence in the process of creation board games, in particular mazes, is presented. For two different algorithms the proposed idea has been examined. The results of the experiments are shown and discussed to present advantages and disadvantages.
