Natural measures of alignment
This work addresses alignment challenges in calibration and medical therapy planning, but it appears incremental as it builds on existing formulas.
The paper tackles the problem of aligning devices and detectors by proposing a natural coordinate system that simplifies the alignment procedure, generalizing previous specific formulas in calibration and providing a top-level description with a basic example application to linac therapy planning.
Natural coordinate system will be proposed. In this coordinate system alignment procedure of a device and a detector can be easily performed. This approach is generalization of previous specific formulas in the field of calibration and provide top level description of the procedure. A basic example application to linac therapy plan is also provided.
