A Computational Model for Machine Thinking
This work addresses the problem of enabling machines to think and reason, but it appears incremental as it builds on existing advances in computer vision and neuroscience without clear breakthroughs.
The authors proposed a computational model for machine thinking that generates natural-language sentences or sketches from reasoning on new and memorized data, but no concrete performance numbers were provided.
A machine thinking model is proposed in this report based on recent advances of computer vision and the recent results of neuroscience devoted to brain understanding. We deliver the result of machine thinking in the form of sentences of natural-language or drawn sketches either informative or decisional. This result is obtained from a reasoning performed on new acquired data and memorized data.
