On Neural Quantum Support Vector Machines
This is an incremental extension of existing methods to a new domain (quantum computing) for researchers in machine learning and quantum algorithms.
The authors introduced neural quantum support vector machines by extending neural support vector machines to use a quantum kernel, building on their previous work to demonstrate feasibility in this new setting.
In \cite{simon2023algorithms} we introduced four algorithms for the training of neural support vector machines (NSVMs) and demonstrated their feasibility. In this note we introduce neural quantum support vector machines, that is, NSVMs with a quantum kernel, and extend our results to this setting.
