Enabling Immersive XR Collaborations over FTTR Networks (Invited)
This work addresses the problem of enabling immersive XR collaborations for users in premises, but it appears incremental as it builds on existing FTTR solutions.
The paper tackled the challenge of achieving high-quality immersive extended reality collaborations within premises by exploring predictive bandwidth allocation and seamless handover schemes over Fiber-To-The-Room networks, showing that such an experience can be achieved.
